bev: Do you know what you’re going with next Maryse?
YES bev!!!! My next read caught my attention upon it’s release on St. Patrick’s Day. In fact, I sorta made it the “feature” of that day, even though I’ve never read anything from this author. BUT!!!! It sounded so good, and he sounds like a MEAN JERK FACE!!!!Β
“She was suddenly living miles away from her old life, trapped in an existence she didnβt chooseβone determined to destroy her from the inside, leaving only hate and anger behind. It didnβt help that her neighbor, the one whose eyes held danger, was enjoying every second of her fall.”
YAY ME!!!! Β However, what cinched it as “my next” was this, ’cause HOW could I possibly resist THIS?
P.S. Tracie and I have very similar book tastes:
Tracie: Maryse I finished Wild Reckless by Ginger Scott and omgeeeeee!!! I can’t say how much I loved this book!! Has to be her best yet! It had everything from the first to the last page. You will feel everything! It’s a YA story but it isn’t sugary sweet, these characters deal with some pretty heavy stuff. And the intensity didn’t let up the entire way. READ IT PEOPLE!!!
Andrea: Standalone, Tracie
Tracie: Yes Andrea!!
Sally: I love it when Tracie gets excited
Tracie: Sally this book was so good I wanna use a megaphone
Sally: You said it. I added it
Kathy: Agreed!! 5 perfect star book for me too!
Maryse: I KNEW IT!!! I just knew it would be one I’d love… YAY! I’m gonna start it ASAP
Tracie: I can’t wait for you to read it and get your reactions!!
Jen: Oh my gosh, I just saw the Wild Reckless cover up there. So glad this is on your list. This book β OMG! I read it in one day β the second it hit my Kindle. Itβs soooooooo good. Bad boy, good heart, right girl. I cried and laughed β you would LOVE this one! <3
*squeeeee!!!!!* Thank you Tracie!!! I’m on it!!! π
Oh this sounds really good and just what I’m craving about now! Might buy this one and start tonight.
Ooh, this does sound fun. I had to look her up and apparently I bought her This is Falling last year sometime last year.
I was going to start Push this evening, but now this one has my attention…it sounds like FUN!!!! π And I need something like that right now after absolutely *loving* Skipping a Beat and then feeling a little shortchanged by the ending. π
Oh well! I think between Push, Wild Reckless or Pieces of You & Me that I can’t go wrong. π
So far? I. Freaking. Love it!!!!!!
Darn it, Maryse. This means I’m probably going to shuffle everything around even more.
Hmm….maybe I’ll be at least partially good and try the one of hers I already have.
Amy is this book ‘pieces of you & me’ by Pamela Ann ???
I think I have got it but not read it yet
This was a great 5+ star read.
I can’t wait to read this!! …Last month I read Play It Safe by KA… And it might just be my favourite if its even possible to pick but I absolutely loved it!!
(Also just finishing Hero by Samantha Young… Loved loved!! )
This makes me soooo happy!!!
Yep Shell, that’s the one! But I’m so undisciplined that I ended up going with something totally different from what I mentioned above…Moments in Time. Then I may try out Wild Reckless or If. We’ll see…
Thank you Amy for your response. I have just started reading ‘Revved’ by Samantha Towe because I fancied reading about another car racing H after ‘ Driven Trilogy’.
‘Wild and reckless’ is also on my radar as I love bad boys.
Just finished ‘Jack Hammer’ I enjoyed part 1 a lot but found part 2 rushed and I lost the connection with the characters.
What can I say about ‘ Dirty Bad and Wrong’ the title says it all and if I tell you that I liked this book and waiting for book 2 would you all judge me ??
although book1 can be read as a standalone with no problem as it had a fully resolved ending.
This sounds good… Can’t wait to read it….
This sounds good, even though I’m not usually a fan of YA. π
Shell, thanks for the Revved comment. I love sports theme stories and Samantha Towle’s Mighty Storm, so this should be good!! π
It gives me a feel between Beautiful Disaster and Bully. And it doesn’t have a high school feel. It doesn’t read like one… if you’re thinking “young feel”, you know?
I’m still in the first part but he is a JERK!!!!! And she has his scary-mean down really well. It doesn’t feel like he’s just play-acting the hateful mean jerk… he’s got that darkness to him and he makes me nervous which is SO fun!
“…he is a JERK!!!!!” <————- *snicker*
Jerk, hmmm, Maryse I think you have convinced me on what I’m reading next!!! Have Bully on my tbr, but haven’t read it yet.
Tee hee Amy!!!! But I LOOOOOVVVVVE HIM!
“yeah….I’d like to eat pie with you, Owen Harper” <—- sigh!
OMG *sigh* is RIGHT!!! I have a major crush.
He’s so swoon worthy I can’t stop thinking about them!!
