“Electrified is turning ONE on May 1st and I wanted to offer up a special excerpt that I will write just for your audience — Sienna and Carson’s wedding….which which also feature Asher <3
I would be happy to do a giveaway too — set of signed books and $20 amazon card!”
YES PLEASE!!
Oh and the story sounds so gooooood too! She’s a famous stripper in Vegas, and running away from her “old life”…
…no one ever sees beyond the heavily guarded stripper onstage. She is Sienna Flower 24/7.
No one other than her closest friend and boss, Asher Peterson, who helped turn a young and frightened girl into who Sienna is today. Together they created the sexual illusion known as Sienna Flower. They will go to any lengths to protect her image, which is why Sienna is convinced she must remain unattached and alone.
Like everyone else in Vegas, Sienna is hiding something and playing a role. A good girl in her former life, she was raised to be obedient and accepting of her fate, but there are some circumstances no one should be expected to accept…
And then!! She meets a private detective/ex-FBI agent…
Michelle loved it! “I loved Electrified so can’t wait to get to the second book”
ONE-Year Bookiversary for Electrified
**Spoilers and Lots of Asher AHEAD! If you haven’t read Electrified…you may not want to read this…before reading it first ☺
Carson and Sienna’s Wedding––
Carson’s feet pounded the pavement as he made his way back across the drawbridge, sweat raining down his neck and glistening across his bare chest. He welcomed the downhill back to the island, breathing in deep breaths through his nose and out his mouth, winding his way toward their beachside villa. He slowed his stride a bit as he padded through the white sand, his running shoes leaving a path of indentations behind him. The sun rose over the blue waters to his right, the rolling landscape of the resort––where he was to be married in just a few hours––situated on his left.
When the villa came into view, he finally slowed completely, walking out his legs, pulling out his ear buds. He walked over to the water’s edge, his shoes getting soaked, and bent down, cupped some water in his hands pouring it over his shoulders. Checking his watch, he saw he’d been out for almost ninety minutes running. Good thing, Lila didn’t know when he’d left…she’d worry he was having nerves…but he’d never been surer about anything in his life. He’d wanted to marry Lila even before he knew her real name wasn’t Sienna Flower and she was way more than Sin City’s hottest stripper.
Christ, he’d watched her dangling from a pole, his eyes hooded, heart racing from hunger, his body reaching for the glittery dancer with insatiable need. With bouncers all around, thousands of fans clawing to get a glimpse, and the spotlight shining on her, Carson had fallen deep in love with Sienna without realizing it. His private investigator eyes saw through the veil of her blue contacts, recognizing something deeper about the woman––and he’d wanted all of it. And he almost lost her.
A shudder ran through his cooling body, and it wasn’t from the sweat drying.
“Carson!” someone called to him drawing him away from his memories of when he was a private P.I. working a case in Vegas. Turning around he caught Asher coming toward him. “Fuck,” he muttered under his breath figuring Lila’s boss and pseudo brother was there to lecture him on the importance of her happiness––again.
“Hey,” Carson greeted the blond prick, who he’d come to call a good friend since moving to Vegas.
“Change your mind? Decide to run away from my girl?” The pompous strip club king stood in front of him in leather pants, bare feet and a white T-shirt on the beach, asking him about his intentions without even flinching. Or sweating.
“Shut up, man!”
“You better not be. That’s my one and only girl. I gave her to you, and I can take her away. Take my word. You don’t want me as an enemy,” he growled running his hand through his hair.
“Cut the act, Asher. You know I’m golden when it comes to Li. Worry about your own lady…who should be your one and only!”
He raised an eyebrow at Carson. “This is your day. I’ll worry about my shit another day, but you fucking know Li’s like a sister, and my fucking woman is MY woman. No time for that…today’s all about getting your ass down the aisle in one piece, bro.”
“And you’re in charge of that?”
“Yeah,” he said through a laugh. “That’s why I got us a couple of bikes and we’re going out for a ride.”
Carson slapped him on the shoulder before bending over and laughing.
“Asshole, you come down here, torment me and then suggest I go out on a motorcycle…only hours before I’m supposed to marry your best friend? Who the hell put you in charge?”
“Lila, of fucking course. She thinks I do no wrong, detective boy. Haven’t you uncovered that yet? Come on. Go shower and meet me outside the front of the main building.”
“She’s gonna kill me.”
“Nah. Just make it back in one piece.”

Lila stood in the bridal room of the resort, the floor to ceiling panoramic windows looking out on the crystal blue Atlantic Ocean casting an ethereal glow around the room. She couldn’t help but to think how different this was from the first time she got married. Set before her on the beach was a small canopy made of pale pink gauze, orchids wound around all four posts to keep the fabric from billowing too much. Flickering tea lights lined the aisle separating two rows of ivory chairs. The Electric Tunnel gang was already seated in the gauze-clad chairs, a colorful bunch of muscular bouncers and sculpted strippers.
Big Mike, who’d witnessed every moment from the beginning with Carson, sat in the first seat and kept turning around looking for the bride-to-be. She wasn’t sure he’d ever stop “keeping an eye on her” even though he wasn’t her detail anymore…and she was about to marry a highly decorated, ex-FBI, badass alpha.
She heard a soft knock on the door.
“Ready, my angel?” Asher’s grumbly voice echoed through the room. He’d saved her from so much, and now he had the proud honor of giving her away in a few minutes. Emotion swept over her, tears threatening to ruin her makeup.
“I’m scared.” Her hand flew over her mouth––shocked the words flew from her lips.
“I got you, Li. Nothing to be afraid of…nothing at all. Carson’s a good guy. Not just because he rescued you from that son-of-a-bitch ex and his torture, but he’s not gonna be like him.”
She nodded, sniffling, her natural sea green eyes brightening at the mention of what a good guy her husband-to-be was.
“Come on, let’s get you hitched so we can party and get the hell back home. I got sand in my crotch. Leather and beaches do not fucking mix. And I got to get back to club…you’re gone and I’m away…bad mix.”
“Okay,” she whispered.
“Li, don’t get all sentimental. You know I don’t do that bullshit. Love ya, but let’s go,” Asher said with a light smack on her butt.
“For old times…I’m gonna miss slapping you on the ass, getting you up on stage and all the money you made for the club.”
Lila couldn’t help but to laugh. “Be quiet, Asher. I know you’re happy for me. Stop acting like a tough guy, and take me down the aisle.”
She held her breath, the smooth satin of her full length gown swishing over her bare legs, as she held into Asher’s arm making her way down the stairs to the beach. Her bare feet sunk into the warm sand as they neared the canopy. Carson stood tall, his black hair shining under the sun, the wind blowing his cream linen shirt and navy linen pants, and he was staring at her like when he first came to watch her dance. Except he was smiling rather than brooding, while his eyes, full of hunger and want, swept over Lila’s body, drinking in her petite frame.
At the top of the aisle, Lila squeezed Asher’s arm before kissing him on the cheek and walking toward her husband-to-be and the judge standing calmly waiting. She wasn’t sure what to do––was she allowed to touch Carson? Should she stand near him? Or set apart?
“Come here baby,” he whispered as she hesitated, her eyes darting around the scenery and her toes squirming in the sand. Lila went right to Carson, where he tucked her in his crook, lightly kissing the top of her long, flowing blond hair. “Hey,” she mumbled into his chest.
“Let’s do this,” Carson nodded at the judge.
Lila went to move, but he strengthened his hold on her frame. “Stay right here, Li.”
“Is that okay?” she asked, her eyes lifting toward the man in front of them.
“It’s fucking perfect,” Carson answered for him.
That’s how she was married for the second time, in a pale silver sheath gown, her skin exposed and glowing in the sun, tucked into Carson’s shoulder, barefoot with her crazy, mixed-up fabulous strip club family as witnesses.

The party went into the wee-hours. Asher spared no expense in the round of drinks he bought for his toast. High-end, special batch scotch was poured and French champagne flowed, as words were muttered into the night.
“Lila, you think that we rescued you, but you saved us. You made us a family, angel. Mikey, Petey, and I started out watching over you, but you drew us into your web, casting a spell over us boys. We watched you grow free and in love, wanted that for you and all of us. Through it all, we fucking adored you and you loved us harder. Here’s to all that’s glittery for you, babe…and get me some new, sexy dancers. I’m out two as you know.” Asher finished with a wink directed at his woman, striding right toward her, grabbing her arm and pulling her in for a totally inappropriate kiss. There was a kid present, but he didn’t seem to mind. He’d been seeing a lot of that coming up. The kid, along with everyone else, didn’t bat an eyelash when he saw Asher and his lady take off early, a motorcycle engine roaring to life in the distance.
After another dance in the quiet corner of the small reception room, Carson took Lila’s hand and led her to the door, yelling, “Night, all.”
“We should say thank you,” Lila protested as they made their way out the doors to the walkway and down to their private villa.
“Nope.”
Thankfully, she was barefoot, so she could keep up with Carson’s frenetic pace.
“You sure?”
“Yep,” he said as lifted her up over his shoulders, placing a little love bite on her shoulder.
“Time for me to make fucking love to my wife.”
She didn’t argue.

Oh what cN I say about my wedding. It wasn’t in Vegas, although I’d love to go, but my wedding was horrable, not horrible horrible, by t horrble. I was 16 weeks pregnant with our second, and super sick, my husband got super drunk, they did the kidnapp game and I truly freaked when I couldn’t find him ( pregnant hormonal) then he got even drinker, the wedding party wanted to stay later, I was so tired. Then I had to drive home after we cleaned. So nendless to say my wedding was horrible, but the thin is I wouldnt change it for the wrold, because I got to marry my best friend 🙂
