<— Eeeep! It’s LIVE. It’s finally LIVE again!!! And the author (and I) are celebrating with a 5-ebook giveaway right here on the blog. Many of you know it’s one of my favorite books ever (my book review of Night Owl) In fact, this book made SO many of my favorites lists (it fits so well in so many categories), and a HUGE bunch of us went crazy for it together, didn’t we?
Cristiane: I share my preferences with you 100% especially the NIGHT OWL choice.
Dee: O..M..G..!!! Out of the norm… I’m Speachless, baffled, In awe, hell I don’t even know! Ok, we’ll. Go back to the speechless. Wow. This book was amazing. Thanks for the recommendation. I needed this to cleanse my book palate. Definitly a must read. My emotions were so all over the place along with the 2 lovable characters I’m almost exhausted. Well worth it. Thank u M.Pierce for this amazing book. Bravo… seriously. You Rock!
AMO: Maryse, I read Night Owl back when you first published this review. Thank you so much! It immediately jumped to the top of my favorite’s list. If you guys haven’t read it yet, you need to read it now. It blows everything else out of the water. Seriously. Each time I go back for a reread I’m more amazed at the writing. Beautifully done. Also, very best dual POVs in the genre. And I think the new cover is super hot and sexy! Will always have a special place in my heart for the original cover, of course.
Matt was just… something else. *heart* Not necessarily easy to love (he has his er… *quirks*) but aren’t those the best kinds? The ones we have to work for? The ones that have a truly unique feel, a personality that really brings them to life (’cause OMG… he is NOT perfect in the least, and I loved that the most!). A very “different-feeling” hero, and I. Was. HOOKED!!!
And then, a big publisher fell in love with the book too, and snatched it up! YAY M.Pierce!! *happy dance* But then, I started getting these messages:
Missy: Trying to get this on my kindle thru amazon but says not released yet??
Oooohhh yes. I forgot that part. The “re-publishing” process. But guess what my friends!!! For those of you that missed it the first time around, it’s LIVE again!!!! You can read it to your hearts content! It pulled many of us out of a reading slump. And for those of us not in a reading slump, it will continue your “awesome-book roll”.
Read it!! I promise, if you like the kinds of books I do, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!
And FIVE of you will be a getting a free e-book copy to celebrate the new release.

Isn’t it terrible….I can’t think of one hard-to-love book hero!! Haha! I love them all no matter how messed up they are!! Love this book! Thanks for the giveaway! Good luck everyone!
I really wanna win… Haven’t read this yet! My favorite hard to love guy would have to be Mr. Tony Rawlings.
Wow! I have a lot of them… Arsen, Gideon Cross, Christian Grey and Matt are my tops ones though
Well to be fair, he’s not THAT hard to love. LOL!!! 😉 But… then again. Tee hee!!! P.S. Did I forget to mention his dirty dirty mouth?
There are a bunch of my book boyfriends that shouldnt have won my heart. They either got it by straight Stockholm or thier dirty mouths or maybe they rode a great motorcycle with hot tattoos. But I seem to falll for all hard to love book boys.
Sebastian from Surviving Raine!
epic giveaway! hard-to-love = sebastian stark!
Ok, this one was a tough one! I’m going with Eric from all of the Sookie Stackhouse series books. I know he is a questionable hero, but he is a hero at times.
And maybe even Christian Grey from Fifty Shades, too. He can be a real jerk but you can’t help but to be drawn to him…
Just starting to read this genre so I have not found one yet
Maryse! So excited you used my comment. Love Night Owl. Love M. Pierce. Love you! I have lots of overflowing love. Haha.
My hard-to-love hero is Caleb from the Dark Duet series by C.J. Roberts. Well, it was hard in the the first two books. He was easy to love in Epilogue. Oh and thanks for that recommendation, too. 🙂
Best,
Angie
I have been waiting for the re-release of this book! My favorite hard to love hero is Tony Rawlings. I became so attached to him, and he was one emotional roller coaster ride. I hated him as much as I loved him!
I think Remy would be hard to love. It would be tough to deal with his mood swings.
Edward.Freaking.Rochester.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this book so first off thank you for the great giveaway and congrats to M. Pierce on this release! I will say that Matt was a “hard to love” guy(but you still fall for him) and then Kellan Kyle is another top one on my list.
ignore or skip my entry. forgot I pre-ordered! lol
Deuce from Undeniable. Or Dallas from Beyond Shame or Beyond Control.
Can’t think of any
I love them all!!
Caleb from Captive in the Dark. He’s hard to love, but also so easy to love too!
Tom from Ride with Me is really jerky for most of the book, and Flynn from Willing Victim takes a while to warm up to. I haven’t read Night Owl yet…hope I can get it on Nook!
Jesse Ward from This Man series; ended up loving him after having to put Kindle down a few times because I was so furious with him
My comtemporary pick: Sean Ferro would be hard to love in The Arrangement series. My paranormal pick: Anita Blake in Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series. And just one of my all time favs: Travis Maddox in Beautiful Disaster was so hard to love, yet I totally went for broke on that one! 😉
Deuce ALL THE WAY!!!
I think Remy would be mine, but there are a lot of others, too many to mention.
Dirty from the Undeniable series.
So many hard to love heroes. I think they are usually the best written characters. Matt is the best though. <3
Awesome!!! My hard-to-love hero is definitely Caleb from the Dark Duet series!! =)
Decisions, decisions!!! I must say that I can’t pick one man. I think each book I read I’m in love with that hard to love man. My mind allows me to feel for them all and my heart grows to love them and understand them. I must say that I’m totally excited to read this book . I hope that I win so I can add Matt to my list of hard to love heros 🙂
Duece!!!
My book BF list: Barrons from the Fever series, CG (of course), Gideon, and Adam Ward from Harbour Falls. He’s not as well known so I’m keeping him my little secret. Hehe
For me it would be Sebastian Stark!!
oooohh i have so many names floating in my head. I’ll have to pick Caleb from Captive in the Dark.
Remy. Loving someone with a mental illness would be so hard to always think positively.
Caleb was the name that immediately popped in my head. 🙂
Colton from the Driven trilogy!
I REALLY want to read this book!!! I too loved Sebastian…or Remy!
Deuce in Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley, thanks for the giveaway!
Jack Howard from the Avoiding Series!!! Without a doubt lol!!!
The Lord of the Manor….Jesse Ward.
I am going with Q from Tears for Tess.
Mix feeling about it…even though there were times I was appalled by his behavior and it made very hard to love him… I still do “Q” Tears of Tess.
I have 2 hard-to-love heroes. Matt Sky ( Night Owl ) and Twitch ( Raw ). <3
Deuce!!!! Definitely!!!! 🙂
Thanks for the chance can’t think of one
Hard to love would have to be Anthony Rawlings from the consequence series
Hmmm hard to love would be Soren since he’s just an extraordinary character you know? He’s my ultimate BBF but it was hard to like him at first…anyways, thanks for the giveaway! I haven’t read Night Owl yet 🙂
Definitely Jack from the Avoiding series. I love him even if he does questionable things sometimes.
I kind of fell for Caleb in Seduced In The Dark , but he was hard to love because of Captive In The Dark… Thanks for the giveaway!
Caleb from the Dark Duet Series. 🙂
I can’t think of a hard to love book hero…I love aspects of them all!
The first one that came to my book-driven mind was Surviving Raine and Sebastian……
There are so many “hard-to-love” men to choose from! I would have to say I love all of them! However, to pick a few names out, I would definitely say Gideon Cross from Crossfire series, Christian Grey from Fifty Shades series, and Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disasters. I consider all of the men from the books that I’ve read to be considered my book boyfriends haha 🙂 Thank you so much for this amazing giveaway! I haven’t read the Night Owl, but i’d like to get the chance to! The cover is just beautiful and the story-line sounds very enthralling!
Not a “hard-to-love” hero, but my favorite BBF is Will from Beautiful Player.
Remy
I love them all, no matter how dark. 😉
I <3 Matt
I love all of them! Now just to figure out how to get all the best qualities into one guy! 🙂
Remy for sure! I think he’d be very hard work, but I have a total book crush on him!
Caleb from Captive in the Dark by CJ Roberts
Nathan Dumont
Ryder from Fighting Destiny by Amelia Hutchins
I think the hard to love vote would go to Christian Grey. Bad and broken boys are also the best reads. I guess that is a love to hate or hate to love thing.
I’m sorry I can’t think of a hard to love one. I know some of my favs. Love Dex. Thanks for the entry!
Dallas from Beyond Control
I would say Tony from consequences:) I am not familiar with book but now I want to read it:)
I would have to say Soren, would be very hard to love.
Haven’t read this one yet, so would be great to win! Hard to love- hmmm Gideon, Christian. This is a trilogy- when do the next two books come out?
Thanks!!
I have to 2nd Tony Rawlings and Michael Flynn.
From an older book: Ryan from Smoke in the Wind by Robyn Donald.
The responses will make a good list. Can’t wait to see it.
This book sounds so good! I definitely need something to pull me out of my reading rut!
Hawk Delgado is one of my favorite hard-to-love heroes, although it wasn’t very hard for me!
Omg I didn’t know about the re-release and the author signing for a big publisher, so excited for M.Pierce !!
For my favorite hard to love hero hmm.. hard to decide too but I would say Caleb from the dark duet and especially Arsen seeing that there’s some (a lot) of people that didn’t appreciate himvery much!!
Remy from Real. Thank you for the giveaway
I’d have to say Christian from Take This Regret. I hated him at the beginning but then found myself loving him somewhere along the way!
Thanks so much for hosting my giveaway Maryse! I’m really enjoying reading the comments here, as usual.
So hard to choose just one…maybe Anthony Rawlins???? I really want this book if it’s one of your faves!!! I can’t afford to keep up…lol
Most hard to love? Definitely Jesse Ward from the This Man series.
It has to be Remy for me! So frustrating, yet sooooooo yummy:)) LOVED ♥♥ reading all the comments here…I have lots of tbr now;)
Tony Rawlings of the Consequences series.
Sebastian
For me, it has to be “Twitch” in Raw by Belle Aurora. He is such a dark and psychotic hero yet I love him!!!
Apparently I have played it too safe becuase I can’t think of one but I have been dying to read this one!! Thank you for a chance!!
OMG! OMG! OMG! I feel like a giddy school girl, I won the give away!!!! In true Maryse nature squeeeeeeeee! Thank you so very much to both Maryse for holding the give away and your awesome blog and to M. Pierce for not only the wonderful book but the great inspirational words on your website and your recommendations on how to author your own book. (I know, a bit “Academy Award” speech but no lie this is the first time I win anything)
