<— Eeeep! It’s LIVE. It’s finally LIVE again!!! And the author (and I) are celebrating with a 5-ebook giveaway right here on the blog. Many of you know it’s one of my favorite books ever (my book review of Night Owl) In fact, this book made SO many of my favorites lists (it fits so well in so many categories), and a HUGE bunch of us went crazy for it together, didn’t we?

Cristiane: I share my preferences with you 100% especially the NIGHT OWL choice.

Dee: O..M..G..!!! Out of the norm… I’m Speachless, baffled, In awe, hell I don’t even know! Ok, we’ll. Go back to the speechless. Wow. This book was amazing. Thanks for the recommendation. I needed this to cleanse my book palate. Definitly a must read. My emotions were so all over the place along with the 2 lovable characters I’m almost exhausted. Well worth it. Thank u M.Pierce for this amazing book. Bravo… seriously. You Rock!

AMO: Maryse, I read Night Owl back when you first published this review. Thank you so much! It immediately jumped to the top of my favorite’s list. If you guys haven’t read it yet, you need to read it now. It blows everything else out of the water. Seriously. Each time I go back for a reread I’m more amazed at the writing. Beautifully done. Also, very best dual POVs in the genre. And I think the new cover is super hot and sexy! Will always have a special place in my heart for the original cover, of course.

Matt was just… something else. *heart* Not necessarily easy to love (he has his er… *quirks*) but aren’t those the best kinds? The ones we have to work for? The ones that have a truly unique feel, a personality that really brings them to life (’cause OMG… he is NOT perfect in the least, and I loved that the most!). A very “different-feeling” hero, and I. Was. HOOKED!!!

And then, a big publisher fell in love with the book too, and snatched it up! YAY M.Pierce!! *happy dance* But then, I started getting these messages:

Missy: Trying to get this on my kindle thru amazon but says not released yet??

Oooohhh yes. I forgot that part. The “re-publishing” process. But guess what my friends!!! For those of you that missed it the first time around, it’s LIVE again!!!! You can read it to your hearts content! It pulled many of us out of a reading slump. And for those of us not in a reading slump, it will continue your “awesome-book roll”.

Read it!! I promise, if you like the kinds of books I do, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

And FIVE of you will be a getting a free e-book copy to celebrate the new release.

How to enter for a chance to win one of the FIVE “Night Owl” ebooks? Just leave a comment below telling me your favorite “hard-to-love” book hero (and if you can’t think of one, just leaving a comment will be enough to enter), and tomorrow by 11pm EST (Wednesday February 12th 2014), I will randomly select FIVE winners. The winner will be contacted and once I receive a response back confirming the address information, the author will be emailing your the book! Thank you M. Pierce!! This giveaway rocks!! :D

NOTE: The winner will have 48 hours to respond to the winning email notification. If no response is received, I will randomly select another winner. Make sure to check your email, so you do not lose your chance. This is open to anyone that can receive an ebook.

Isn’t it terrible….I can’t think of one hard-to-love book hero!! Haha! I love them all no matter how messed up they are!! Love this book! Thanks for the giveaway! Good luck everyone!

Sara February 11, 2014 at 9:34 AM

I really wanna win… Haven’t read this yet! My favorite hard to love guy would have to be Mr. Tony Rawlings.

Renea February 11, 2014 at 9:37 AM

Wow! I have a lot of them… Arsen, Gideon Cross, Christian Grey and Matt are my tops ones though

Maryse February 11, 2014 at 9:38 AM

Well to be fair, he’s not THAT hard to love. LOL!!! ;) But… then again. Tee hee!!! P.S. Did I forget to mention his dirty dirty mouth?

rebecca b February 11, 2014 at 9:39 AM

There are a bunch of my book boyfriends that shouldnt have won my heart. They either got it by straight Stockholm or thier dirty mouths or maybe they rode a great motorcycle with hot tattoos. But I seem to falll for all hard to love book boys.

Michelle February 11, 2014 at 9:40 AM

Sebastian from Surviving Raine!

carol February 11, 2014 at 9:43 AM

epic giveaway! hard-to-love = sebastian stark!

Amanda February 11, 2014 at 9:46 AM

Ok, this one was a tough one! I’m going with Eric from all of the Sookie Stackhouse series books. I know he is a questionable hero, but he is a hero at times.

And maybe even Christian Grey from Fifty Shades, too. He can be a real jerk but you can’t help but to be drawn to him…

Susan Behan February 11, 2014 at 9:48 AM

Just starting to read this genre so I have not found one yet

AMO February 11, 2014 at 9:56 AM

Maryse! So excited you used my comment. Love Night Owl. Love M. Pierce. Love you! I have lots of overflowing love. Haha.

My hard-to-love hero is Caleb from the Dark Duet series by C.J. Roberts. Well, it was hard in the the first two books. He was easy to love in Epilogue. Oh and thanks for that recommendation, too. :)

Amy February 11, 2014 at 9:59 AM

I have been waiting for the re-release of this book! My favorite hard to love hero is Tony Rawlings. I became so attached to him, and he was one emotional roller coaster ride. I hated him as much as I loved him!

Amy P February 11, 2014 at 10:15 AM

I think Remy would be hard to love. It would be tough to deal with his mood swings.

Cat @ Breakfast to Bed February 11, 2014 at 10:29 AM

Rose February 11, 2014 at 10:30 AM

LOVED LOVED LOVED this book so first off thank you for the great giveaway and congrats to M. Pierce on this release! I will say that Matt was a “hard to love” guy(but you still fall for him) and then Kellan Kyle is another top one on my list.

Cat @ Breakfast to Bed February 11, 2014 at 10:31 AM

ignore or skip my entry. forgot I pre-ordered! lol

Melissa V. February 11, 2014 at 10:36 AM

Deuce from Undeniable. Or Dallas from Beyond Shame or Beyond Control.

pam February 11, 2014 at 10:56 AM

I love them all!!

Elyse February 11, 2014 at 10:57 AM

Caleb from Captive in the Dark. He’s hard to love, but also so easy to love too!

Andrea B. February 11, 2014 at 11:01 AM

Tom from Ride with Me is really jerky for most of the book, and Flynn from Willing Victim takes a while to warm up to. I haven’t read Night Owl yet…hope I can get it on Nook!

Lisa B February 11, 2014 at 11:03 AM

Jesse Ward from This Man series; ended up loving him after having to put Kindle down a few times because I was so furious with him

Angela February 11, 2014 at 11:03 AM

My comtemporary pick: Sean Ferro would be hard to love in The Arrangement series. My paranormal pick: Anita Blake in Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series. And just one of my all time favs: Travis Maddox in Beautiful Disaster was so hard to love, yet I totally went for broke on that one! ;)

Julie C. February 11, 2014 at 11:07 AM

Deuce ALL THE WAY!!!

Thalia February 11, 2014 at 11:08 AM

I think Remy would be mine, but there are a lot of others, too many to mention.

Corrie February 11, 2014 at 11:16 AM

Dirty from the Undeniable series.

Tarah February 11, 2014 at 11:49 AM

So many hard to love heroes. I think they are usually the best written characters. Matt is the best though. <3

Hali February 11, 2014 at 11:58 AM

Awesome!!! My hard-to-love hero is definitely Caleb from the Dark Duet series!! =)

Melissa February 11, 2014 at 12:01 PM

Decisions, decisions!!! I must say that I can’t pick one man. I think each book I read I’m in love with that hard to love man. My mind allows me to feel for them all and my heart grows to love them and understand them. I must say that I’m totally excited to read this book . I hope that I win so I can add Matt to my list of hard to love heros :)

Kelly February 11, 2014 at 12:02 PM

Abby February 11, 2014 at 12:20 PM

My book BF list: Barrons from the Fever series, CG (of course), Gideon, and Adam Ward from Harbour Falls. He’s not as well known so I’m keeping him my little secret. Hehe

jennifer February 11, 2014 at 12:24 PM

For me it would be Sebastian Stark!!

Mae February 11, 2014 at 12:28 PM

oooohh i have so many names floating in my head. I’ll have to pick Caleb from Captive in the Dark.

Rachel February 11, 2014 at 12:50 PM

Remy. Loving someone with a mental illness would be so hard to always think positively.

Laura February 11, 2014 at 1:06 PM

Caleb was the name that immediately popped in my head. :)

AngieG February 11, 2014 at 1:28 PM

Colton from the Driven trilogy!

Trisha February 11, 2014 at 2:36 PM

I REALLY want to read this book!!! I too loved Sebastian…or Remy!

Melisa P. February 11, 2014 at 2:39 PM

Deuce in Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley, thanks for the giveaway!

Joann February 11, 2014 at 2:52 PM

The Lord of the Manor….Jesse Ward.

ajw February 11, 2014 at 3:52 PM

I am going with Q from Tears for Tess.

Cristiane karamanolis February 11, 2014 at 4:18 PM

Mix feeling about it…even though there were times I was appalled by his behavior and it made very hard to love him… I still do “Q” Tears of Tess.

Marilyn February 11, 2014 at 4:18 PM

I have 2 hard-to-love heroes. Matt Sky ( Night Owl ) and Twitch ( Raw ). <3

Melody M. February 11, 2014 at 4:20 PM

Deuce!!!! Definitely!!!! :-)

Tanya Gaunt February 11, 2014 at 4:45 PM

Thanks for the chance can’t think of one

Randi palmer February 11, 2014 at 4:51 PM

Hard to love would have to be Anthony Rawlings from the consequence series

Feifei February 11, 2014 at 5:17 PM

Hmmm hard to love would be Soren since he’s just an extraordinary character you know? He’s my ultimate BBF but it was hard to like him at first…anyways, thanks for the giveaway! I haven’t read Night Owl yet :)

Paula E February 11, 2014 at 5:59 PM

Definitely Jack from the Avoiding series. I love him even if he does questionable things sometimes.

Elle February 11, 2014 at 6:25 PM

I kind of fell for Caleb in Seduced In The Dark , but he was hard to love because of Captive In The Dark… Thanks for the giveaway!

Tessa February 11, 2014 at 6:44 PM

Caleb from the Dark Duet Series. :)

Heather {My Little HEA} February 11, 2014 at 6:53 PM

I can’t think of a hard to love book hero…I love aspects of them all!

Ruth February 11, 2014 at 6:58 PM

The first one that came to my book-driven mind was Surviving Raine and Sebastian……

Michelle Lee February 11, 2014 at 7:18 PM

There are so many “hard-to-love” men to choose from! I would have to say I love all of them! However, to pick a few names out, I would definitely say Gideon Cross from Crossfire series, Christian Grey from Fifty Shades series, and Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disasters. I consider all of the men from the books that I’ve read to be considered my book boyfriends haha :) Thank you so much for this amazing giveaway! I haven’t read the Night Owl, but i’d like to get the chance to! The cover is just beautiful and the story-line sounds very enthralling!

Kris February 11, 2014 at 7:21 PM

Not a “hard-to-love” hero, but my favorite BBF is Will from Beautiful Player.

renee woodroffe February 11, 2014 at 7:52 PM

N. Michaels February 11, 2014 at 8:16 PM

I love them all, no matter how dark. ;)

ReaAnneRR February 11, 2014 at 8:42 PM

I <3 Matt

DeAnne Hanks February 11, 2014 at 9:00 PM

I love all of them! Now just to figure out how to get all the best qualities into one guy! :)

Sarah February 11, 2014 at 9:10 PM

Remy for sure! I think he’d be very hard work, but I have a total book crush on him!

Maria Theresa Santos February 11, 2014 at 9:26 PM

Caleb from Captive in the Dark by CJ Roberts

Shana C February 11, 2014 at 9:39 PM

Nathan Dumont

Prachi February 12, 2014 at 1:21 AM

Ryder from Fighting Destiny by Amelia Hutchins

Sheila February 12, 2014 at 6:32 AM

I think the hard to love vote would go to Christian Grey. Bad and broken boys are also the best reads. I guess that is a love to hate or hate to love thing.

Shannon Stephens February 12, 2014 at 7:00 AM

I’m sorry I can’t think of a hard to love one. I know some of my favs. Love Dex. Thanks for the entry!

Pamela February 12, 2014 at 7:29 AM

Dallas from Beyond Control

sandy s February 12, 2014 at 7:31 AM

I would say Tony from consequences:) I am not familiar with book but now I want to read it:)

Diane February 12, 2014 at 8:10 AM

I would have to say Soren, would be very hard to love.

cheryl February 12, 2014 at 8:43 AM

Haven’t read this one yet, so would be great to win! Hard to love- hmmm Gideon, Christian. This is a trilogy- when do the next two books come out?

DA February 12, 2014 at 9:09 AM

I have to 2nd Tony Rawlings and Michael Flynn.
From an older book: Ryan from Smoke in the Wind by Robyn Donald.

The responses will make a good list. Can’t wait to see it.

Jennica February 12, 2014 at 10:22 AM

This book sounds so good! I definitely need something to pull me out of my reading rut!

Hawk Delgado is one of my favorite hard-to-love heroes, although it wasn’t very hard for me!

L.Boom February 12, 2014 at 3:02 PM

Omg I didn’t know about the re-release and the author signing for a big publisher, so excited for M.Pierce !!
For my favorite hard to love hero hmm.. hard to decide too but I would say Caleb from the dark duet and especially Arsen seeing that there’s some (a lot) of people that didn’t appreciate himvery much!!

Shelly W February 12, 2014 at 3:53 PM

Remy from Real. Thank you for the giveaway

Tina February 12, 2014 at 3:54 PM

I’d have to say Christian from Take This Regret. I hated him at the beginning but then found myself loving him somewhere along the way!

M. Pierce February 12, 2014 at 6:11 PM

Thanks so much for hosting my giveaway Maryse! I’m really enjoying reading the comments here, as usual.

Pam February 12, 2014 at 7:42 PM

So hard to choose just one…maybe Anthony Rawlins???? I really want this book if it’s one of your faves!!! I can’t afford to keep up…lol

Sara February 12, 2014 at 8:19 PM

Most hard to love? Definitely Jesse Ward from the This Man series.

Tony Rawlings of the Consequences series.

Nat February 12, 2014 at 11:36 PM

Ann February 13, 2014 at 12:14 AM

For me, it has to be “Twitch” in Raw by Belle Aurora. He is such a dark and psychotic hero yet I love him!!!

Megan Stietz February 13, 2014 at 3:46 PM

Apparently I have played it too safe becuase I can’t think of one but I have been dying to read this one!! Thank you for a chance!!

Alex Carol February 13, 2014 at 10:16 PM

OMG! OMG! OMG! I feel like a giddy school girl, I won the give away!!!! In true Maryse nature squeeeeeeeee!
