ROMANTIC BETRAYAL ALERT!! Oh I am LOVING getting these recommendations from Margie because these are EXACTLY my trope. I love my love stories difficult. I love to work for it. Just pure intensity.
I love (in BOOKS!! Always only in books!!) to feel the worst, the pain, the shock, the fury… and that slow burn and build up where I love to feel the growth, and discovery and the second chance (which I am often so jaded that it takes some serious work for me to reconnect to the betrayer) OR the brand new (and SO much better) start. YES. PLEASE!!!
Margie: Betrayal, Groveling and Revenge. I don’t know why I’m on this kick all of a sudden, but these books are so satisfying. A couple more recommendations of authors I’ve just found – all binge worthy.
AND thanks for pointing out Maya Alden. I just found her too. Loads of books…some of which I think the mmc didn’t get his appropriate comeuppance.

MARGIE: Elise Camden “ The Humiliated Wife: A Husband’s Betrayal & Grove” <— a Kleenex box binge read. OMG what the mfc endures and rises above it. It has an HEA, which I appreciate, but I think the mmc got off too easy. I bought this one to re-read.

Some outstanding ones…some ok. Here are few I really liked: “Veil of Power”, “Vows of Deceit”, and “The Vow He Broke”. Very strong mfc who plot revenge after betrayal and cheating.
