COMEDY ROMANCE/OPPOSITES ATTRACT ALERT! A MUCH LOVED AUTHOR, SO MANY IN OUR CREW LOVE HER & Angela specifically loved this one!
She says:
Anything but Easy – Susie Tate <— This book had me rolling.
Kira is pure chaotic ADHD pixie energy… pink hair, zero filter, wildly funny, and somehow still a brilliant doctor. You’d think she’s a total hot mess, but there’s actually a serious thread woven through the story, including an AIDS-related mention (TW: not part of the main couple’s relationship).
The male lead is that classic British type — controlled, composed, a little stiff at first — until Kira knocks him completely off balance.
The supporting characters are well written and really round out the story, leaving plenty of room for more.
Overall, it’s a quick, fun read with just the right blend of humor, heart, and chaos.
