Thank goodness some took leftovers, because it would not have all fit back in the fridge. It was football alllll day right into the night, friends and family snacks and feasts, and too many cooks in the kitchen. 😉 😂 P.S. We’re on our third dishwasher load since last night. Yep. Cleanup is a b*tch.

You can trade in older/out of date and sometimes even defective older Amazon devices (like Fire sticks, Echos, older Kindles etc… to get a “trade in” discount on a newer Amazon Device). This feature is AWESOME!!!! No piles of old devices in my house. I’m getting a new Echo show and trading in what I can. 😀

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector <— EXCELLENT DEAL HERE!!! Small little bottle of hair conditioning perfection (but it’s not actually a conditioner. You put it on your hair AND THEN wash it out and condition etc etc. It rebonds your hair and my hair becomes absolutely silky. Just check out the reviews!!). I usually pay $30 or more for this bottle and it’s on Prime Day sale right now so I’m buying myself another one!!! Echo / Alexa huge deals all sorts of models <— My Echo Dot just died 2 weeks (blue ring of death) and I need a new one STAT! I used the heck out of it, and didn’t really notice until she was no longer available to give me my reminders, to tell me my morning wakeup routine, to tell me what time it was, to tell me where my package was etc etc… so many things that I used her for all day. So this is on MY purchase list for sure. Now to figure out if I want to spend a bit more (but still on Black Friday Sale) and get the Echo show. I think yes. UPDATE!!! Okay so I ended up getting this one (bundled with the stand), and I can’t wait!!!!

CHI Original Ceramic Hair Straightener Flat Iron <— OOOOOOOH THIS IS AN AMAZING DISCOUNT!!! I already have a straightener but I always heard CHI were some of the best. Prime Day deal is gone but it’s still discounted well. 🙂

Fire TV Sticks <— Yep. I have THESE too (especially in this house where we are now 5 people). Everyone has a TV in their own rooms, so they have these too. We have officially cut the cord with Cable TV and I’m now a Hulu, MAX, Netflix, Paramount + (with Showtime), Peacock, and Amazon Prime video addict. 😀 YAY MEEEEE!!! So yeah, The Fire Stick is one of my very best friends!

Kitchenaid Artisan Mini Plus 3.5-Qt. Tilt-Head Stand Mixer with Flex Edge Beater <— A MINI ONE???? I have the full sized one and I love it but it takes up a bunch of space and is super heavy! This would have totally been my go to, if I didn’t have mine already.

TEXAS LINEN CO. Pure King Size Cotton Bed Sheets Set <— MEGA LIGHTNING DEAL + COUPON TO CLIP right there (but only on this size and color – silver – which in my experience has always been a nice light grey – but either way, this will work for me, I’m sure!). I don’t have a set of 100% cotton sheets, and I’m so glad to have found these. Perfect color for my bed set too. And here’s different brand (also 100% cotton) with different sizes and colors (all appear to be lightning deals + coupons!!)

Vera Bradley Women’s Straw Bucket Crossbody Purse <— AMAZING PRICE & ADORABLE!! I have one (could not pass up the discount) for my light beach days or boat days. It’s not a huge beach bag or anything like that (definitely a bucket purse) but it makes me feel summery when paired with espadrilles and a summer dress. LOVE!!! And what I love most is that it’s not a busy pattern. I love the one anchor and that’s enough to tell a story. 🙂

iRobot Roomba 694 Robot Vacuum-Wi-Fi Connectivity, Good for Pet Hair, Carpets, Hard Floors, Self-Charging <— My older beloved Roomba. Mine was getting old and is the very basic model. I upgraded to THIS one which I now have and love —> iRobot Roomba i4+ (4552) Robot Vacuum with Automatic Dirt Disposal – Empties Itself for up to 60 Days (but personally, I miss my old not-as-techie one, which I have to a family member). So easy, just step on the button and off she went to vacuum. No apps, and messages, and mini-hiccups (I still don’t know how all her bells and whistles work). Still, it’s nice to be gone for the day, and let this new fancy one handle the cleaning of my whole house, and empty her bin on her own throughout the day. My old one would have just stopped and waited for me to come home for her first bin-empty, before continuing her job. Yeah… thought it through. I love my techie-new one. 😛

iRobot Roomba j6+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum – Identifies and Avoids Pet Waste & Cords, Empties Itself for Up to 60 Days, Smart Mapping, Compatible with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair <— And then there’s this one that I might have, should have waited for because it IDENTIFIES CORDS & PET-WASTE!!! HOLY. MOLY. THIS is my dream Roomba. That is the one thing I always have to look for in the house when I start her (and why I prefer to start her when I leave and have to crate the pets anyway). Because yes. This is obviously a thing, and to think this Roomba would NOT go over it? Yep. Dream Roomba.

Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro Corded Stick Vacuum with PowerFins & Self-Cleaning Brushroll <— IF I DIDN’T HAVE A ROOMBA FOR MY QUICK DAILY NEEDS… I’d want this. I have a more traditional/heavy duty vacuum for the carpeted areas in my house, but was thinking of getting this for daily stuff. But the Roomba won out.

Hoover FH50150 Carpet Basics Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner <— MEGA MEGA BLACK FRIDAY DEAL!!!!!! Okay… definitely not book related, but to me, this deal, if you need one, CAN’T BE MISSED, so I had to let you know!!! I had this exact one (when it was on sale – and I used it regularly from 2016 to 2022), and now it’s even cheaper!!! THIS DEAL!!! It works great, it’s light weight, and I loved mine. So easy to use. I’ve replaced mine with another just like it. Just sayin’ 😉

BISSELL Little Green Multi-Purpose Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner <—  CAN YOU TELL I HAVE DOGS? This thing is a little powerhouse, and when I’m not having to pull out my whole carpet cleaner (or I don’t have time for the whole shebang) this little guy does the trick. Like… when someone ate something that does not suit his stomach *sideeyes Havoc, my dog!!*), or like when my 16 year old MinPin has an accident, this thing to the rescue. Or when the youngest spills his root beer in his room… this thing to the rescue!!

RENPHO Smart Scale, Digital Bathroom Scale <— I’m thinking of grabbing this too, while I’m at it, at this price, it’s incredible. I have a digital one from years and years ago (I think it might be close to 20 years old) and it has all of these metal dots that stick up from it (sensors, I think for body fat calculation)? I dunno, but they’re a pain in the butt to clean around, and I like my scale shiny and dust free. Plus this one here has an app that can calculate all the stuff that my old digital does through those sensor thingies. So yep. I think I just talked myself into it. Here it is in black.

Roxy Women’s Vickie Sandal <— MY FAVORITE FLIP FLOPS ever and they are on Black Friday sale!! Of course, for many it’s not flip flop season, but being in Florida, I live in these. This particular model is slim, super cushiony/spongy and not in the least bit stiff (which is what I struggle with, in flip flops). These required NO break in time, and mine are all raggedy now after a year of constant wearing and abuse (I mean on the beach, in the ocean, grocery shopping, at concerts, you name it, these flip flops have felt it). I needed a new pair, and they were higher priced than most flip flops I was seeing, and I went shopping for them last week (in case I could find them cheaper) and couldn’t find this exact model, and I just did a search today, and HOLY MOLY… SOLD!!!!! I got them in black and in nude.

ALLLLL the weighted blankets on Black Friday sale. I actually finally pulled the trigger and got one for my man since he likes the feeling of heavy blankets, and tends to run cold at night. I always wanted to try one (supposedly you sleep soooo much better with heavier blankets) but my tiny dogs slept in my bed (I know…. bad!!!!) and I didn’t want this to feel suffocating to them, so I never bothered. But now they sleep in their own beds at night, and I’m giving one a try. P.S. Here’s the one I got (it’s got a 50% off online coupon you can “clip” right on the spot). GREAT deal!! P.S. It looks almost “beige-ish” in the pic, but mine is more of a true white, black and grayish coloring in real life.

Phillips HUE lights <— HUGE PRIME DAY DEALS!!! MY OLD HOUSE & NOW MY NEW HOUSE IS DECKED OUT IN PHILLIPS COLOR HUGE LIGHTS! Can’t live without these. My man thought it was a silly expense (he was fine with our regular led lights), until we put them all in, and got everything setup (lamps and lights on top of our cabinets, lights behind our TVs and alllll of that) and now he is HOOKED on this setup. He tells everyone, it’s a bit expensive if you want the whole house done up, but once it’s done it’s a life changer. You can start small, or go big like I did. All the various shades, and lighting combinations can make a house feel lively and bright, or cozy and serene. It’s sheer ambiance perfection.

BLACK+DECKER dustbuster AdvancedClean Cordless Handheld Vacuum <— USED ALMOST DAILY & LOVED! I had actually bought a Black & Decker during Prime Day (or was it Black Friday?) about 6 years ago when I bought my last house. I couldn’t live without it. Unfortunately after about 5 years the battery could no longer hold a charge, so I threw it away before moving into this house! And now I have a new one!! 😀

MichelleS: Wanted to read this based on feedback from others. It didn’t disappoint. I still remember it, and that’s always a good thing. I don’t read that much contemporary or women’s fiction, but this was a good one.

Fonda: “The Great Alone” has to be one of my all time favorite books. I listened to it on audio and was so amazing! Lots of tears but oh the ending.
