HAPPY FRIDAY!!! IT’S BEEN A WHOLE HAPPY WEEK for me, however tomorrow my mom is leaving so today is bittersweet for me. I will miss her soooooooo much. But I’m thrilled to see how happy and healthy she is, and we had so much fun so I know she’s coming again!

So this morning I created our amazing Friday Finds list, and next we’re getting ready to go for lunch by the water, and tonight we’re eating good ol’ American barbecue that I KNOW my mom will love.

Lucy needs our book help… BIG TIME!! Not a ton of detail but maybe just enough to spark someone’s memory?

She asks:

Help finding a book

FMC and MMC have known each other a long time but she leaves and avoids coming home because she’s in love with him and there are issues.

She does finally come home though, I think for a funeral maybe.

I for sure know when she comes back, she finds out her brother is dating a girl that was mean to her in HS.

I’m all over the place but it’s been 2 days and I want to read this again so badly. read more

Latest Romance Book Releases – 07-21-2026

HAPPY TUESDAY & HAPPY NEW RELEASE DAY!!! I have a bunch of new books that just went live (but quite a few bargain finds too)! I’m heading to the beach with my mommy today to have breakfast with our toes in the sand, and then to stroll along the sandy shore and look for shells and just take in the peace that the ocean brings.

P.S. My mom is reading while I work on this post (“The Exchange” by John Grisham and she’s already loving it. She LOVES that author and is shocked that I haven’t read anything from him. I told her I’m not really into legal thrillers, and she said YOU MUST READ HIM!! You will love it. Very relatable, realistic stories and he sucks you right in from the start. Well, okay then. She’s leaving me her book so I can read it when she’s done. read more

Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 07-20-2026

HAPPY MONDAY!!! I have plans for the day but I couldn’t start it without finding us a bunch of books that just went live!! 🙂

Three things:

1.) I managed to get my house prepared in the nick of time for my family and it looks fantastic. LOL! But I was exhausted when it was finally done, but off to the airport we went & I was so excited! And a bit nervous (you know when you haven’t seen someone in years you’re not sure if and what has changed)…?

2.) MY MOMMY IS HERE!!! She arrived Saturday and it’s even though the last time I saw her was in 2018, it’s like we’ve seen each other regularly forever. Like there’s been no distance. She looks just like my mommy always looks and she’s the same as always. Ahhhh I love my mommy! read more

HAPPY FRIDAY & HAPPY WEEKEND!! TODAY IS THE START of my one week vacation and my mom and her friend are on the way to my house as we speak!! YAY!! A whole week vacation with my family. I LOVE IT.

I will still be creating my posts this upcoming week as usual, the only thing I’m taking a break from is my day job. I can’t wait to tell you guys about all we do. A daily vacation journal. 😉
