Following my heart, one book at a time...
This author rocked my word with her first bad-boy series (The Real Series), and she’s just released a brand new one (book #2 that just went live)! I know tons here were anxious for the follow up (’cause of #1’s cliffhanger) so I had to post this!! Now y’all can breathe a sigh of relief! I’m hearing “Sin” is super-steamy! With a book title like that, could we expect any less? 😉
Susan: I loved Manwhore!! It is going to be really difficult to wait until July!!
Mafia, criminals and bad-guys galore in today’s list! But I think we’ve got something for everyone on here. 😉 In fact, so many of ’em that I couldn’t help but post my blurb-jolt mini “highlights” list (below).
In case some of you missed it… I’m still reading my own brand of “bad-guy” (Fearless <— that gritty biker book that is over 800 pages long and put many in our crew in a happy reading-frenzy). I should be done within the next day or so, and nope!! I haven’t squirreled yet. 😀 It IS good. The writing is amazing, it IS gritty and the romantic tension is *whooooooo* right now. Trouble… And Paula just finished it and agrees: “Finished Fearless and loved it – 5* for me and now on to the second one..”
I decided to bring this one around since #2 (Manwhore +1 (The Manwhore Series)) was JUST released this week!! Here is a recent reader question that Karen from our Facebook crew guessed right away. And I hear this series is HOT!!!!! But of course… the author is Katy Evans. 😉
Here’s how it started…
Maryse’s Book Blog: Indya needs our book help, too. She asks:
“I’m trying to find a name of a book you had on your blog. The main characters names was Sinner but he had an extra long name. It was a contemporary romance book.”
Thursday is “Reader Question Day” on Maryse’s Book Blog, and here is one that our Facebook crew was able to answer, and the reader is thrilled! So I thought I’d share it with my crew right here, ’cause a few on Facebook really wanted to know it, too. And OMG it sounds SO GOOD!!!
This one sounds like fun!
Maryse: GUESS THE BOOK TIME!! Gillian has a book title question. She asks:
“Can you help me out with a title. It’s a fairly new release about a girl who drunkenly buys a house in Scotland to get away from her cheating ex. I believe there is a Scottish policeman who gets swept up in her adventures. Thanks!”
Welcome to the 42nd installment of “You’ll Never Believe…”
For those that don’t know what these new featurettes will be about, here is the scoop! “You’ll Never Believe…” will feature the weirdest questions or encounters that authors have been asked/had. Might be about their books or random things, like meetings in a bathroom where someone asked what brand of toilet paper they normally use. Fun stuff and inside scoops that an author would not normally share.
Today’s “You’ll Never Believe…” celebrates the release of Tara Sue Me’s latest book “The Collar: The Submissive Series”. In this one, the author tells us about that time that she was in New Orleans as hurricane Katrina was coming right for them...<— *gasp*
