Following my heart, one book at a time...
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!! I’ll be working on my own “Best of 2020” list over the weekend (I need to contemplate… LOL!!) to end January off with my favorites list!! In the meantime, I’ve got a bunch of recommendations to add to THIS list, so keep checking back ’cause I’m not done yet. <— YAY!! IT’S DONE (unless someone sends me another book to add). 😉
<— P.S. THIS IS SUPER-BARAIN PRICED TODAY!!!!
TODAY’S BLASTS FROM OUR BOOK PAST 😀 !!
I have been a HUGE Tiffanie DeBartolo fan since my early indie-book days. Her book “How to Kill a Rock Star” put me (and many of my fellow readers) into a frenzy. WE. FREAKED. OUT!!!! And I’ve since read and loved two more of her books, and she will be forever, one of my all time favorite authors in the whole world!
If you haven’t discovered her awesome love stories yet, I insist you do! Here are my book reviews just to give you an idea. 😉
Leonie needs our book help and this one sounds INCREDIBLE!!! I feel like I’ve read something similar (in regards to the child running errands for the mafia part), but I don’t remember the baby being found, so I’m anxious to know what this one is!
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I have been following your book blog for a while and I have read a lot of your recommendations. I would like your help in finding a book I read a couple of years ago and can’t remember the name or the author.
Kate is looking for this book! And 1.) I LOVE the premise of this one ’cause I already love office romances with difficult bosses so I can’t wait to find out what this one is, and 2.) Kate made me laugh with her “mad as a cut snake” comment. Tee hee!! 😂
She asks:
Hey Maryse,
Me again! I think I have a type of amnesia specific to books. I don’t have much info on this one, but I think I want to read it again.
Basically, its a workplace romance. She hates her boss and he’s very demanding. She gives notice and he’s not happy about it.
HAPPY TUESDAY NEW RELEASE DAY!! Over 60 books on today’s list, and two new reviews to check out (I wrote one on Friday, and one yesterday). 😀 But first…
BLURB JOLTS!! The Finish Line by Kate Stewart (actually, I didn’t read the blurb ’cause I don’t want to spoil it for me since it’s the trilogy conclusion, but everyone is crazy for this trilogy!), If I Disappear (psych-thriller and her favorite podcaster has gone missing so she decides to go looking for her and “…plunges headfirst into the wild backcountry of Northern California and her own dangerous obsession” eeeeeep!), Damon: Brethren of the Lost Book 2 (biker series, and this one has an edge of forbidden love to it), Captured in Ink (oooooh this one would make me so jealous! Menage, and they’re a married couple, and his ex BOYfriend comes back to town), Sweet Tooth (she’s crushing on her new gym instructor) and Dominate (Deliver Book 8) (Pam Godwin’s latest… sounds super-dark! He’s been emailing his dead girlfriend, but the emails have been going to her instead for years.. and now he HATES her!!)
