18 Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 10-20-2025

HAPPY MONDAY & HAPPY START OF A NEW WEEK!! Another fun list of early book releases including a new one by one of our original dark romance indie authors, Aleatha Romig!!!

Three things:

1.) My husband’s son was home for the weekend and we had a huge feast and celebration on Sunday. Celebrating seeing him again (he’s in the military and lives in a different state) and celebrating my husband’s birthday (a weekend late) and we had so much to eat!

2.) We had three cheese tortellini in pesto sauce & with shaved parmesan cheese and a Cesar salad (my specialty!! LOL!!). And we also had antipasto (from Mazzaro’s Italian Market) and macaroni and cheese (a new brand at Costco – we were so curious to try it), and smoked ribs and baked beans too. And we bought two amazing cakes (one is a cannoli cake!!!) also from a famous Italian Market near us called Mazzaro’s. read more

Reader Question – The dark romance book where he’s a hitman and has to kill her and it’s a cat-and-mouse dynamic…

Mercedez is also looking for this one! Eeeeep!!! He’s either not a very good hitman, or he’s purposely missing, the way this one is described. Three complete different places and three assassination attempts that are missed. Interesting…

She asks:

Hi, yes, I’ve been looking for this book for a while, and it’s been hard.

All I can remember:

I think the MMC is an assassin or hitman, and he has to kill the FMC. I know the MMC wears black gloves. He camps on a roof in front of the FMC’s building and watches her through his sniper. There was a scene where he started shooting at her from across the building in her living room. The thing is, she knows he is there. read more

Mercedez needs our book help! Another Mafia romance question!! I think we’re on a roll today. 😉

She asks:

Hi,

can you help me find this book I read a while ago?

So I read this just a couple chapters and forgot about it. I know this book is a series. I think it’s with sisters who marry in the mafia or something like that.

But in the first chapter, it’s like the 2nd or 3rd book:

The MMC has a gun to the FMC’s sister’s head and tells the FMC if she doesn’t marry him he will kill her sister. The FMC’s sister tells the FMC not to do it. I think the MMC is an enemy anyway. The FMC, I think, has a gun pointed at him or not, but she tells him yes, and he throws her sister down, I think, and the FMC’s sister runs to the FMC, then to her husband, which, by the way, the FMC’s sister and husband have a book of their own. read more

Jana needs our book help! HOLY. MOLY. OH HECK NO!!!!!!! This book already has me fuming… and I feel like I MUST read it. I mean… Jane explains things well enough in her question but I still feel this like a punch to my gut!

She asks:

I’m looking for a book I’ve read but can’t find. I’ve looked everywhere.

What I remember about the book is The female and male main characters (FMC and MMC) are in love, but the MMC doesn’t show it outwardly, instead focusing on protecting the FMC’s sister. read more
