Here is the latest RWA interview!! Author Caroline Hanson catches up with author H.P. Mallory (who is quite popular amongst our bunch!!)
Caroline says:
Hello my lovelies! I am in Anaheim having a great time and meeting some wonderful fans and authors! I am also doing interviews while I’m here and they’re going up at Maryse’s book blog! First up was my interview with myself. Check it out and post a comment. PLEASE! Coming soon is HP Mallory (Who is lovely, amazing and my new BFF) friendly and funny Tina Folsom and the fascinating Eve Berlin/Eden Bradley.
H.P Mallory is the author of two popular paranormal series, the Dulcie O’Neil Series & the Jolie Wilkins Series, and I’ve heard her books are laugh out loud funny sexy and addicting! Her books make frequent appearances in my bargain priced and freebie lists!! In fact… she’s got a freebie on Amazon, right now (Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble, a Paranormal Romance (Jolie Wilkins Series, Book #1), and a big release coming up on Tuesday!
Let’s see what tidbits H.P. Mallory shares, shall we?
1. Tell us a “tidbit” or a secret about your upcoming projects that we might not already know?
The first book in my next series is called Better Off Dead. The main character dies before her time and so she becomes a Soul Retriever. She has to go to hell to get souls because they got misplaced and went to the wrong place. It’s the funniest book I’ve written so far.
2.What music do you write to?
I was listening to a lot of Pearl Jam when I wrote Wuthering Frights. But usually classical and indie music.
3.What surprise character or story twists did you not see coming?
At the end of Witchful Thinking the vampire goes back in time which was my biggest cliffhanger ever. I had no idea that was going to happen!
4. What’s your favorite book that you’ve written?
That’s a hard question because my series are so different…My three favorites are the last of the Dulcie and the last two of the Jolie series.
5. Favorite book by someone else?
Just one? I was an English Major at UCLA, so I love the classics. Pride and Prejudice for the classics. For modern books, The Art of Racing in the Rain. It makes me cry every time. Not in a sad way, though.
6. Favorite Food?
I love Mexican Food and Italian.
7. What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
I’m a ‘decently good artist’ and have won a USC art show in high school. It was like etching in reverse.
sidenote from Maryse: Caroline Hanson sent me this picture of H.P. Mallory’s winning artwork!! ———->
8. Who would you like to meet?
Henry Cavill. He’d be in my dream cast and he could play anyone he wanted to!
9. Are you a dog or a cat person?
Both.
10. Favorite pizza topping?
Ham and pineapple.
11. Favorite TV show?
The Office.
12. Favorite romance?
Gone With the Wind.
13. What’s on your bucket list that you have not done.
Hitting the New York Times Bestseller list.
14. Who is your celeb crush?
Henry.
July 31st, The Witch Is Back: A Jolie Wilkins Novel is coming out.
Thank you H.P. Mallory!!

I really love all of your books!!! I am so sorry to not be able to review them as much as I can but with 2 boys under 4 it is challenging to hit the computer during the day (evenings are another story …wine…bed). Anyway, I can’t wait to read the next jolie and dulcie books to see what happens next! I love the stories, the drama, and obvi the heroes 🙂 You are definitely must read and I will make an extra effort to post reviews. Also Maryse…I adore your website. The books and bad boys are just my cup of tea 🙂
