LOL!!! I’m grinning from ear to ear after reading this little way-too-early-in-the-morning-peek into the lives of J.B. Salsbury’s super-sexy MMA fighters. ‘Cause they’re in pain right now, you see. Headaches, probably some bruises, some of ’em, a little unbalanced. But not from a fight. Nope. They’re a bit… hungover. And they are cursing up a storm (and I can’t help but giggle).
She is sooooooo lucky. ME <—- a teensy bit (a WHOLE LOT) jealous of J.B. 😉 And many of you are already familiar with (and loving) these guys, too!

Yep. I need to read these. And from this piece alone, I can’t seem to pick out my favorite. I’d say Rex, ’cause he’s SO cute when he’s hungover (“I hate you guys. I’m going home.“) <— tee hee!! But then Jonah flashed us.. his dimples. And his hilarious assumption of what goes on at Book Bash (“You go to your Girls Gone Wild with books thing”). SO CUTE! *sigh* and then Blake and his cocky grin. Yah. I already like (love) these guys.
Ready to fall in love to (if you aren’t, already?)
I just walked into Blake’s condo to talk to the guys about them keeping an eye on things while I’m in Orlando for Book Bash. The living room is littered with empty booze bottles and pizza boxes. Blake’s sitting on the couch, slumped over and rubbing his head.
Oh crap…
JB: *looks around the room mortified* What the hell happened here?
Blake: *head in one hand, he holds the other up* Shh… please whisper.
JB: Hey! *Blake glares at me through one eye* I need you guys to pull it together! I’m leaving in a few days and you’re acting like frat boys!
Blake: Babe… *rubbing his temples* I know we promised we’d watch over things, and we will, but we’re taking break from training and tied one on last night. *moves his fingers from is temples to his eyes* F**k, it’s like someone poured 100 pounds of concrete into my skull.
Jonah: *stumbles into the room, shirtless and squinting, hair sticking up everywhere* What the f**k time is it? *cringes against the sunlight*
Blake: *glares at Jonah* Dude, why in the motherf**k are you yellin’? I’m explaining to the boss here that we’re going to get our sh!t together for when she goes to Oklahoma. *groan*
JB: Orlando! *Jonah and Blake cringe simultaneously*
Blake: Whatever.
Rex: *moaning from the kitchen, he pops his head out from around the corner* Why the hell am I— *pinches his eyes closed and holds his head in his hands* Ouch! Why am I sleeping on the f**king floor? *looks around* In the kitchen?
Jonah: I’m never hanging out with you douchebags again. *plops down on the couch next to Blake making him jerk and hold his head*
Blake: Easy, f**ker!
Rex: *push-crawls to his feet and staggers into the living room* I hate you guys. I’m going home. *slips on nothing and catches himself on a barstool* After I sober up.
JB: Rex, what are you doing, man? You’re supposed to be the responsible one!
Rex: *raises a pierced brow* Says who?
JB: *forehead slap* This is not happening.
Jonah: Don’t worry, boss. You go to your Girls Gone Wild with books thing, we’ll take—
JB: *gasp* What?! Girls gone wild?
Blake: Yeah, we heard all ‘bout these book things. Know you girls get all kinds of crazy… and topless.
JB: *foot stomp* That’s absurd!
Blake: Not in my head, babe.
JB: Ugh, forget it! I’ll get Cameron to keep an eye on things. You guys are useless!
Blake: Calm down, JB. We f**ked up, but we’ll make it up to you. *cocky grin* Oh, I know, how ‘bout we’ll send you some pictures from last night. We got a bunch of Jonah after he passed out.
Rex: *bursts into laughter, then sucks in a breath and holds his head again* Ouch! Dammit!
Jonah: *punches Blake in the stomach* F**k you, dude!
Blake: *groan followed by gagging, he rolls off the couch to the floor* I’m gonna barf, d!ckstick!
Jonah: *dimpled grin* Have fun at Book Bash. We got this.
