FAMOUS ROCK STAR LOOKING FOR HIS SECOND CHANCE… Love Song: A Stage Dive Novella IS LIVE!! And to celebrate this release, Kylie (as well as her publisher, 1,001 Dark Nights) are sponsoring today’s newsletter!
P.S. This book can be read as a standalone. Though, the series is just AWESOME and I’d highly recommend reading ’em all. 😀 In fact, I posted my reviews of a few of the other books in this series below. You’ll see. I LOVED THEM! She describes this latest release as:
A second chance romance with a healthy dose of rock n roll!
We have a fun tidbit about Kylie (below) that warmed my heart!!! Oh and… we’re also having a giveaway!
And I found some fun tidbits about the author herself, from her Facebook page! Gah, she’s just SO great and I’ve always been a huge fan of her stories. Here are a few of her fun tidbits and musings:
It’s one of the myths of being a romance writer. Staring at pictures of male models for hours on end trying to pick a cover shot just isn’t as much fun as you think it would be.
When things are working, I have the story running like a film in my head. How do you write? …I have the heroine like an extra personality in my head during the process.
Sidenote: She’s a rock star fan like we are, and here’s a tidbit that brought back memories, even for me:
I remember sneaking into my brother’s room when he was out to play “Why Can’t This Be Love” on his record player since I didn’t have one. The guitar at the start of the song still gives me chills. Vale Eddie Van Halen.
So what’s it about?
There’s always the one that got away. Or kicked you out…
The new darling of rock n’ roll, Adam Dillon, is ready to show his ex-girlfriend, Jill Schwartz, what a mistake she made kicking him to the curb. So maybe he wasn’t the best of boyfriends. Writing great songs and climbing to the top of the charts isn’t easy. Only problem is, he’s fast finding out that success isn’t everything.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
Here’s an excerpt.
And here’s a fun tidbit about the author:
Q: I’m always curious…where do you write? Do you have to work at a dedicated desk or can you write anywhere in your space?
A: I have an office at home with a desk all set up for me and a nice big screen. There’s lots of books and artistic and interesting clutter in there that I enjoy being surrounded by. It’s probably not as organized at it should be! What with working at home, I try to restrict any writing to that space so it doesn’t spill over into other areas of my life.
Oh wow Kylie!! I love that you’re surrounded by the things you enjoys while you create! 🙂 I just LOVE your stories (I went crazy for your super-steamy post-apocalyptic reads… and then was in total heaven with your rock stars). *swoooooooooon*
