Good morning and Happy Tuesday everyone!! 😀 70+ new releases today and a bunch I highlighted ’cause they sound so good!
Today’s blurb jolts for me? That one there to the left (Trying to Score they *ahem* filmed themselves back in their college days and now it’s about to cause a scandal!!!), Tracking Tahlula (her latest book throws her in the limelight, so she’s hiding out in the mountains, and then HE knocks on her door), The Fall of Legend (Meghan March’s latest!! “…We come from two different worlds. I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower…) Skin and Bone: (psych-thriller/unrequited love alert! She transformed herself into the one he wanted), The Light We See (she fell for him, and then his wife called…) DILF (Sidney Halston’s latest!! 😀 And it sounds forbiddeny!! He’s into his daughter’s best friend… oh oh).

Morning! For another hour, maybe? Lol. I’ve spent my entire morning grumbling and growling with the new Disney+ subscription. I got the bundle (Hulu * ESPN+) and went ahead and got a free trial of Starz and then 3 months for $5 each month or something. So, I had to cancel Hulu 1st and then the dumb this wouldn’t let me log back in after I got this bundle. ESPN was fairly easy, but oh my Lord the Starz. I sent them 3 emails raging over it, <— reply wait was 5-10 days 😳😳, spent 30+ minutes on the phone waiting for an answer and hung up. I figured it out, with no response to my emails, but my word it shouldn’t be this hard. And I told them I want to be absolutely sure that’s what I’m paying for with my subscription, bc their site is clear as mud and then I’m canceling. 😡 So, after all that I’ve started Noel on Disney+ while I now have to do housework. *sigh* I also just opened a new pair of winter boots (mine are 7-8 years old) same brand, but the inside is different. Like a wool where my others were like sheep feel inside. I dk, they might itch. School’s cancelled. I hope today looks better from here out.
Tasha, that is a crap morning!! I hope it improves!!
*hugs Tasha*
Don’t get me started on my Garbage/Recycling pick up company and their billing issues. *sigh*
I feel my blood boiling again…
That stuff sucks, Tasha. I hate the way the all of cable is now splitting up into $5 here, $10 there.
I have a love/hate relationship with it. We cut cable to save a lot of money, but there are so many streaming channels out now with different shows that stand out and you really have to pick and choose in order to not spend just as much as you were for cable in the 1st place. Luckily, with Netflix at least, we can share between families so I don’t have to pay for that. Prime has bonuses bc of Amazon shipping + extras that are beneficial. And I’ve cancelled Sling and just bundled the Disney, Hulu, and ESPN for 12.99. The Starz wasn’t even on my radar so I don’t plan on keeping it when my time is up anyway. It just could’ve been made a lot easier to sign into all these things with a bundle. I’ve never had so much trouble before. And not even with loading or anything, simply signing in. And of course I’ve tried HBO and stuff when certain shows come on. I like that you can cancel whenever u want easily and start it back up again if u want.
It’s just the wrong time of the month and I’m overwhelmed with busyness and the season and I feel like I’ve had a stream of bad luck lately that I needed to vent.
We’ve had Netflix for years, and to tell you the truth, if my adult children weren’t living here, I’d probably get rid of it. Besides that, we just have regular old “gold tier cable,” but hubs keeps complaining because they took away our EPIX, Showtime, and maybe Encore? I don’t know. I mostly only watch Food Network and sports channels.
Wow! Skin & Bone is literally calling me!! Also The Light We See…I’ve had that one on my radar for a bit…so many good ones up there!!
Sidenote: I finished Frayed this morning….it was so good!
I’m INTO it Michele!! Not far, but I love how OCD he is and he’s kind of dark and moody and not in the least bit friendly (at least… being in his head -which I’m enjoying), so I’m so curious who could possibly be stalking HIM.
I’m at 80% in Frayed and LOVE! And I adore the way Owen is written. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Getting ready to sit down and finish it.
I also want Skin and Bone!
I am already done with Skin and Bone and I was so excited to read it and then ended up disappointed. But it was confusing because I read only 5 stars reviews and then I found a lot of things in that book completely ridiculous and I definitely can see where the author god the idea for this book (The evolution of Ivy)
Oh Tasha, I feel your pain. I can’t stand drama like that. Who has time to deal with that crap?? Ugh! I just remembered I need to give a stern talking to hubs doc office for incorrect billing. Grrrrrr
I wish I was into psych thrillers like you guys!! Esp since CR is not even doing it for me these days. Funny that before I got into romance my genre was non-fiction. Mostly true crime stuff but also biographies.
It is so cold and dreary here. I dont care that I had 3 cups of coffee this a.m. I just made myself another cup and am going to try to get through last few chapters of my book that is dragging. It’s an audio so I can at least get stuff done while its bores me.
“…am going to try to get through last few chapters of my book that is dragging. It’s an audio so I can at least get stuff done while its bores me…”
LOL bev… that cracked me up so hard!!! 😛
That cracked me up.
Uh oh Leslie are we starting to sound alike?
OMG LOL!!!!! I thought that WAS YOU!!!!! YOU DO sound alike!!!
Leslie M you’re pretty funny if I do say so myself. 😉
Bev, no way!! YOU are the funniest person I know!
And…I wasnt trying to be funny. I was dead serious!!
I think it’s that witty bluntness that made me think of bev’s humor. She makes me crack up so hard, and it was a total bev thing to say. LOL!!!
Leslie–you may enjoy the duet I mentioned above (Private Investigation and Public Affair). It’s not a psych thriller–it’s definitely a romance, but it has mystery to it as well to make it interesting.
I do the same thing when audios are boring me. I turn the speed up to 2.0 and get to work around the house.
Leslie, did u ever try One Plus One by Jojo Moyes? You might really like it. Or u might not, Lol. But, maybe worth a try?
Maryse–I’ve been meaning to mention a duet that’s coming out on Thursday that’s up for preorder–Private Investigation and Public Affair by Aidee Jaimes.
I’ve already read them and I loved them SO much! I’m always thrilled when I’m able to read a plot like this that hasn’t been done before (at least, not that I’ve read). And it’s great that she’s releasing them at the same time, because anyone who reads Private Investigation will want to go immediately to the next one (they’re each around 190 pages). IMO, they’re kind of a romantic suspense but maybe more of a twisty-turny romantic mystery with some dark mixed in. I was completely enthralled with trying to answer the questions and figure out the mysterious elements. I highly recommend them for any of you who want to read a different kind of romance. Oh, and I just realized, they’re set in Florida!
Oh YAY Nay!! 😀
Thank you for your feedback on it. I’m actually featuring it this Friday!!!! I’ll include your comment in the post.
*happy claps*
Omg! What a coinkydink! I’ll make sure to check out the post!
Michele–Did you see what’s coming out next Tuesday? Queen of Nothing! I need to check to see if the library is going to have it.
Oh yes girl! I’m on the wait list for the book and the audio with my library…I’ll take whichever is available first. Although, I have some audio credits that I just might have to use for this…because I don’t know if I can wait! So Excited!!
Omg, I neeeed Queen of Nothing. Who do I have to throw glitter at to make this happen???
I know, right?! Throw glitter everywhere Grey and maybe some magic will happen and we’ll get an early release??
I can’t reserve it at the library yet. Since they have all her other books, I’m hoping they’ll get it soon.
Maryse…The Light We See gave me the jolt!!!
RIGHT!!!!???? That one last part… *gahhhhhhh*
Yes!!! Me too Mary Ann!
I just finished it, it broke my heart so good.
So I read Binding 13 in less than 24 hours and now am super upset that I had to work today and can’t inhale Keeping 13 quite as fast… At least it is holding my interest… hallelujah, I was worried I was broken.
There’s a lot coming out soon that I’m interested in though, so I know I’m not…I just have been very blah lately and not reading much.
There’s a couple though…oh man, there’s a couple that I’ve had my hands on…
Know what else comes out on the 19th? Winter Tales by Tiffany Reisz…omg, so good, guys!!! This is the one I’ve been WAITING for since The Siren! In. Heaven. That’s all I can tell you.🤐♥️
Tasha and Nay – Thanks for the recs! I’m extra book-crabby lately so I’m even more difficult to please. 🙁
I know how it goes. Maybe take a break. Watch some Hallmark, bake some cookies, go Christmas shopping, de clutter a room 🤷🏼♀️….wait, this is for me. 😂 But, focus your brain on something different for a bit. It’ll come back to ya.
I’m feeling uninspired in the food dept. lately. What are on ya’’all’s menus??
I think I want to do a turkey tenderloin, cuz it’s fast, pancakes and eggs and a chicken and rice to finish out the week. But mostly, everything sounds meh. Lunches are all sounding meh. And I want healthier, fast, new options.
I’ve been killing my chicken dishes lately. Spatchcock chicken on the grill (or in the oven) with some kind of herb butter (the butter’s not so healthy though), whole roasted chicken with fresh herbs (super healthy!), curried chicken thighs, braised leg quarters…
Turkey meatballs and spaghetti squash, blackened catfish (or chicken) with pico and super low cal coleslaw, homemade tomato soup, stir fry–just tell me what you’re in the mood for and I bet I have a healthy recipe to fit it!
Never mind, I’m moving in.
Of course tonight I had fettuccine alfredo, garlic bread, and bourbon!
See, I’d live off things like this if I could. I was thinking I needed some beef and noodles or something. But, I’ve always balanced semi healthy or super healthy and comfort and I feel like I’ve gone too far down the comfort/lazy road lately and I feel like we need better fuel for our bodies. Mostly, I make the kids eat the veggies and fruits and such while I eat ridiculously. I won’t tell what I’ve eaten for lunch all week. I like to do leftovers for lunch most of the time, but there haven’t been enough to hold over for long. Or it’s TOO much of something and we tire of it. I don’t like cooking ALL the time.
Spatchcock chicken looks yummy, btw. At first, I thought ‘heck no I’m not messing with any bones!’ *shivers* But, then I watched a video and it looks pretty easy. Maybe I’ll make the hubs do it 1st. Lol
Spatchcock chicken is really easy! Just use kitchen shears and cut that bad boy right out! When I do this, I pretty much just salt and pepper it, then make an herb butter. My fave is tarragon sauteed in butter but basil works great too (sage butter is awesome for pork as well). If you don’t do the butter, you’ll need something, either herbs stuffed in the skin or garlic/lemon, or BBQ sauce. Something because by itself it will be bland.
If you’ve got recipes for turkey meatballs, I’ll take it. I like to bake them and I rarely do homemade, but I love them. I’ve never blackened anything (is it spicy?) I’ll take the recipe for that too. I assume a homemade coleslaw I may actually like, and the tomato soup! I tried once, it wasn’t very good. I have a basic stir fry recipe with rice, chicken, peas and carrots and egg, do u have something for me to spice it up? Curry chicken thigh sounds delish! I sprinkle curry on lots of different things now, but have not thought to do this. And I’m off to google Spatchcock chicken. If u would, message me some recipes on GR! I’m good at following a recipe (a fairly simple one), but not really at winging it.
I’ll message you here in a sec!
I just sent you a novel. Be prepared! 😂
oven roasted brussels sprouts (tossed first in olive oil, sea salt and cracked pepper). Then roasted. Delicious (and I usually hated those). Tossed again, after baking… with bacon bits, and even some feta cheese, or maybe a touch of fresh lemon squirted on top.
Healthy, and yummy!
I LOVE brussels sprouts!! I’m not sure what amount of sugar you can get away with on keto, but tossed in maple syrup and cayenne pepper is fab too. And surprisingly low in carbs/calories because you use so little of it.
Oddly, this sounds good to me right now and I don’t like Brussels sprouts. I think I’ll try. My kids will hate me, but what’s new? I made asparagus and salmon and mashed potatoes last night and the uproar!! The baby automatically said to heck with the asparagus. I made him eat the salmon, but he washed it down with the potatoes. He HATES mashed potatoes, must’ve had to make do last night. The girl mixed em and shoved me down as fast as she could (she hates fish) and the 1 who likes it wasn’t feeling it last night. It was good, darnit! But, I did it for the husband bc the rest of us could care less and I declared today that I’m not making it anymore, he can make himself a single serving when he wants it. We’ll just do spaghetti.
Do you make her eat fish even though she doesnt like the taste?
Yes 😂 It sounds so mean when u put it that way. Rule here is u eat what I cook. We don’t go hungry cuz they’ll beg for snacks immediately after and the answer is no and I don’t wanna hear them whine about it. I’ve made it less than 10 times so it’s not regular and she likes fish sticks.
I don’t go to a restaurant and make her order it or anything, but if I’m making it, that’s what we’re eating. I had to eat meatloaf growing up and it was the most disgusting thing in existence. And no one left out onions or got me my own topping on pizza, I had to pick crap off that still left the nasty taste. It’s part of life. Lol
I was raised the same way and it’s how I raised my daughter. I got lucky with her though. She’d try anything and usually liked it. She was the one who got me to eat octopus! And she loved going to get sushi with her dad.
I’m not a parent so have no idea about that, but have to ask…..do you remember your family meal times as something good? Did you ever make things you didnt like to eat but the others did and then make yourself eat it? Tuna was for lunch today and my stomach was growling but I couldn’t do it. Just gag at the thought. Like I had a set of grandparents that made us finish everything, but understandable because grew up in the depression. But I dont have warm memories of mealtimes there like with my mom or my other grandmother. Those memories or certain smells just equal love and comfort.
Do you still make yourself eat things you dont like?
I had one set of grandparents made us finish what we had on our plates. We’d hide it and flush it, lol.
I get the texture thing. My mom would sometimes make something from left over Turkey, big pots of everything soup, and if I bit on a bone I had to throw the bowl away. I’d gag from it. My mom was cool with it which was nice…especially since single working mom so not a lot of time or money for somethings. It is like the texture thing is partly mental too. Because I could eat a separate bowl, but the one that had a bone…just gag reflex.
Ground chicken I couldn’t do for along time or mushrooms. Now I adore mushrooms.
Some things I didnt like as a child i tried in my 20s like avocado and sour cream and love.
But fish makes me gag. I despise it. Keep it in the sea where it belongs, lol.
I have tried some things I don’t like or never liked growing up and have since changed my mind. My stomach has changed though and I can’t tolerate some stuff. I’m the cook, so I don’t typically cook things I don’t like and when we order, everyone picks what they like. I’m an adult, I did my time in the you don’t get a choice chair. 😂 Yes, I have good memories growing up when it comes to dinner time. Even the bad ones, make me who I am and it give me stories to tell. Like, I literally laughed out loud when I read u snuck and flushed what u didn’t finish- WE DID TOO! At my Grandma’s, we’d pick our cereal and pour it every morning and the rule was u eat what u got out. Only, every time we’d fill up before we were finished so we’d wait till she left the room and did a quick run to the toilet. She also once made me eat an entire serving of fried clam strips as I mistakenly grabbed what I thought were something else. But since I grabbed them…omg they were the chewiest, sliveryest nasty things on the planet. And my stepmom had a thing for ham salad. 🤢 I ate the whole thing, every time. I was not a HUGE picky eater, but no one cooked for my tastes. Everyone, I mean everyone, had to cook nasty peppers and onions into everything. But, my Grandma was an amazing cook. My aunt, also amazing. I can also name 1,000 things I couldn’t get enough of. I went through a pretty long phase (years) of where I could no longer eat popcorn shrimp (previously obsessed) bc I could envision them swimming and squishing around in my mouth. It’s a mind over matter thing and I got over it. They’ll live if we have some dud meals and have stories to tell later on. Although, if majority rules (and it usually does, that it’s a good meal) 1 or 2 kids that don’t like 1 or 2 things on their plate can suck it up and eat it. Now, if all 3 make something incredibly painful for me (steak) we don’t eat it. They can cater to their specific tastes when they move out and cook for themselves, I guess. More often then not, they tell me how much they love it and my daughter has asked me for a recipe book when she leaves the nest. If the baby had his way, he’d live off pbj, mac n cheese, candy and fruit. The girl is my best eater. Although she actually cried a couple days ago (hormones, I swear it’s never happened before 😳) over beans and broccoli (she loves beans! but she wailed they looked like rabbit turds and ended up loving them and requested leftovers the next day. And the middle. *sigh* That boy will challenge me and test me till the day I die. But, I’ve worked hard to improve his tastes and it’s gone really well.
And I feel like consistently trying things u don’t like leaves room for possibility of that changing. My son will now eat peas and grapes happily, mashed potatoes, among many other things that he’d hold in his mouth for I can’t tell u how long. He had a texture issue? Or maybe he’s just special bc he’s so dramatic (Or was) of a picky eater. (Gagging and such) Like, my husband, who also has no choice and has mostly conformed to a healthier way of eating or more variety than what he was used to growing up and enjoys it. He had to at least take 1 bite of everything on the plate and if peas were my vegetable of choice, that’s what he was eating.
I’m embarrassed to admit that all my boys ate for about 2 years was macaroni and cheese, peas, grapes, and apples. I simply had too much health stuff going on to argue with their food texture issues. We never got fast food and they weren’t allowed to have ANY soft drinks, but I’m not so sure mac n’ cheese was much better. Thankfully, years later they’re all healthy and eat everything in sight!
I finished Frayed and loved it! I had trouble putting it down throughout, but when I got to 60%, I was glued to the pages! Such a fresh, unique storyline!
Nay, I agree! I really enjoyed it!
I’m halfway through and LOVING IT!! Excellent writing and I’m right there with him… and pretty nervous (and excited) as to what’s going to happen. 😀
Just wait, Maryse!
Good morning! Funny, I was thinking I’m out of ideas for dinner too! I dont cook healthy stuff though. 😜 Some of my usual meals are things like: beef stew, chili, chicken parm, lasagna, baked mac & cheese, tacos, pot roast, etc. We dont eat seafood and as far as chicken goes I only do boneless/skinless breast. Dark meat, bones and skin scare the heck out of me. I don’t know how to grill (hubs does that in summer) and its 12 degrees here…so no grilling. I think I will do beef stew in crockpot for tomorrow (I won’t have time this a.m. to prep) but no clue what to cook tonight.
I love these things too. I wouldn’t even call them unhealthy. I think I just feel yucky for my own cravings and I’m bored of the same ole’ and feel guilty for some of the crap I’ve been eating lately. We’re not huge beef ppl anymore anyhow, but I made hamburgers last night and just felt so gross and unsatisfied after. We usually do turkey burgers, but every now and again I’ll do a regular old beef patty and every time there are complaints and disappointment. I went on a huge squash quick last week or the week before and I mostly felt better for eating it, but at the same time, I’m sick of it. Then I got this beef craving and I’ve done cube steak and burgers and I’m just not feeling it. I do tacos and spaghetti all the time, but I’ve just felt so lazy in my choosing lately. I also suck at bones with chicken, but I’ll keep trying. There’s a crockpot recipe for whole chicken I forgot about, that I actually can’t mess up. And, I don’t grill either. I’m awful at it, the only cook, and so I can’t multitask the things I make inside with grilling meat either.
Mind you, I had Keebler’s M&M cookies and milk for breakfast. And yesterday I had apple pie with pecan (those are good for ya 😉) crisp topping. But we’re talking about lunches and dinners here!! And it’s my time, ya know, to eat what I crave.
I can help you master chicken with bones. Braising it, especially leg quarters, is fool proof (think chicken cacciatore) That’s a great place to start.
R., Seriously? You are a woman of many talents! Color me impressed!
After I gave myself salmonella and threw up on my shoes whilst stalking Matthew McConaughey at an Austin speakeasy, I decided it was time I learned how to cook chicken. 😆
What?!? Omg, I’d love to hear this story!! LOL
I’ll have to search what braising and chicken cacciatore is. But, it even stresses me out to boil it. My Grandma made the best chicken and noodles, so does my Aunt, by boiling the chicken 1st and all it says is to boil it until it’s done. When is that? Do you cover it? I dk, it feels too complicated. I meant to mention to u- my meat thermometers are liars, so I don’t use them. I think I’ve bought 4 now and none ever tell me what they’re supposed to. And it’s done, very visibly.
Braising is just cooking it, covered, in a shallow pan with liquid. You brown the pieces first, remove, make a simple broth, can cook it in there. The thing that’s great about leg quarters is that it’s hard to overcook. So I’ll make something like this with a pot of pasta when I have company and don’t know when we’re going to eat, because it can just sit on the stove. I’ll find you an easy recipe when I get a chance. Breast meat is different. You really want to stop cooking it the second it’s done or it will dry out. But I do have some super simple chicken “topper” recipes that are meant for boneless skinless chicken breasts that I’ll send you too.
I SUCK at taking temps but it still helps when you’re doing something like breast meat or a whole chicken. And I use a $4 thermometer from my grocery store. I’ve had a $100 one and hated it. You can check it easily using ice water if you think it’s off. If it is, just toss it and get a new one. https://bit.ly/2rH7VKc
And yeah, not only did I throw up on my shoes, I blacked out and came to 10 seconds later on the floor. But after that, I was fine!
This is one of my favorite braising recipes. It’s looks harder than it is. I use quarters, rosemary, jarred garlic, and whatever cajun seasoning I have on hand. https://www.emerils.com/127418/braised-chicken-thighs
Robin, If you didn’t live so far from me I’d show up on your doorstep with bag of groceries exclaiming “teach me”!! 😉
Well, when I retire to florida Maryse can teach me.
Show up with a bag of wine instead! It’ll be much more fun!
Hi Maryse. I’ve been your follower since your beginning! It’s right after Twilight! Lol..
I’ve noticed that you no longer review as many PNR and that you and all of us used to LOVE J.R. WARD “Brotherhood” books. I noticed the next book coming out this month is not anywhere here.. and that made me sad. They’re still the BEST PNR books out there. PLUS Jeannine Frost “Cat & Bones” Also now have (so far) 3 FREE CHAPTERS on her website from Bones POV! just to please her fans. I hope you post something about it and I truly hope you still LOVE “The Brothers”.., I and thousands still wait for their books every year.
They’re “Old but Goodies” séries that started all for me and others.
I get nostalgic when I read here on your Blog about those 2 amazing series. Hopefully you’ll still love them and post them? They deserve to continue on “Top PNR series” out there.
Hopefully we’ll continue to have your AMAZING BLOG for another 10, 20 years or more.
I’m a loyal decade long fan of your blog.. since it’s the first I loved and still do.
Thanks for reading
Anna (BIA)
Hi Anna!!
I sure do remember you and I’m so happy you came by again to chat with us. I still love paranormal, but right now I’m more into psych-thrillers and darker romance stories at the moment (and actually reading more comedy romance too). BUT my love for BDB and for Cat & Bones lives forever. Just like they do. 😉
I’ll come back around soon enough… I’m actually missing and feeling like going back to Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series.
I’m Christmas shopping, planning, list making like crazy and I’m getting to that point where it starts to get overwhelming. I have a system, but picking and choosing always stresses me out. And I’m the sole shopper or idealist. I actually diagnosed myself a few weeks ago with Decidophobia and a bit of analytical paralysis. I’m not kidding, it can get pretty severe and I felt myself spiraling again so I googled it, it’s a thing. 😂
Anyway, what Kindle do u have? Anyone? This is my gift to myself this year and I want something basic, with no other apps to distract me. So, I was thinking Kindle Paperwhite, but what about an Oasis? What version do u prefer? I’m thinking a bigger gigabyte bc I’m terrible at storage and it drives me nuts when things are full or slow down bc of it.
I got the Paperwhite when it came out recently as water proof (or resistant…whatever the right term is). I like being able to read in my pool and in the sun with no issues. I confess that I still read through my Kindle app on a tablet as well – – so basically I’m an indecisive one too as I like to have options 😉
I only read on my phone currently. It’s really easy to browse Amazon, GR, jump on here, social media, check email when I should be reading! Elimination would be best, lol. I don’t think I like having options. The more there are, the more panicked and overwhelmed I feel. I took a quiz when I was searching decidophobia and it said I was a severe case and I should seek counseling. 😂
I want to say I’m trying to fix it (by making a bunch of decisions on my own), but it’s hard to break the habits. It’s only been an issue for about 5 1/2 years? Some situations are easier than others and it’s at the point I drive myself and my family insane. Only recently I started to get superstitious and not trust anything I originally chose and the 2nd option was probably right. I mean, it got low. That’s when I googled it. It’s time to fix it before I get anymore extreme than I already am.
So if you are trying to not have availability to jump on everything when you’re trying to read…then I wouldn’t rely on a tablet. I think you’d like the Paperwhite. Like I said, I go back and forth between it and my tablet for reading but it’s not that I don’t like it…I just have the option to do so. It’s kind of a habit for me. As a sidenote: I thought about the Oasis too but primarily for the waterproof feature so when the Paperwhite came out with that and was soooo much less expensive…and I could read it in the sunshine, it was an easy purchase.
Hang in there. Take it a little at a time with trying to take back control of your decision making process. Don’t be too hard on yourself! {hugs}
Tasha–I’m no help. I also read on my phone. And before that, I had a kindle fire, specifically so that I could have access to all the apps, but it ended up being so frustratingly slow compared to my phone that I just switched. I never thought about the fact that if I read from something like a Paperwhite, I might have a more uninterrupted reading experience. Maybe that’s my problem!
I’ve never owned a Kindle or even a tablet! I did have an original nook when it first came out but once I got good sized smart phone, I have always just used it. I find all tablets, ereaders (and actual books) to be too cumbersome for me and they give me carpel tunnel. So I am of no help whatsoever.
Maryse you just got to read Dirty Letters. It is funny! And a pet pig name Hortencia!
OMG these two with their crazy pets!! I can imagine the pig is as funny as the goat!!! 😛
