THREE THINGS:
1.) I just bought an over the door full length mirror, but that opens into a jewelry box!! That’s the last of my things that are still in a storage box, so I can’t wait to sort through it and make it all pretty again. It even has small clear boxes and shelving inside of it to include makeup or anything else small that you might need to store at easy reach. I LOVE IT! I think I’ll get one of these light up strips for inside of it.
3.) We went out with two other couples on Saturday to “Fords” restaurant in Sarasota. So many amazing looking fattening yummy things. I was good. I had fun. Love listening to their stories.

1. The Lost Husband book is 100% my favorite of hers and I loved the movie (obviously) but definitely think the leads were miscast! (I know!!! 😬) That said, I’m pretty happy about the miscasting!
2. I inhaled Hello Stranger by the same author over the weekend! If you haven’t grabbed a READ NOW copy on Netgalley, do it!
3. And speaking of casting! Josh’s new movie with J.Lo comes out Friday and I’m working up a stay-at-home date night menu. I’m thinking steak frites with béarnaise sauce and french fries. And now I’m starving.

So it’s your fault! 😆 I used to eat everything well done too but then I had a very enthusiastic waiter who would only cook it that way if I agree to try it medium first. It wasn’t prime rib though.
Oh heck no. I’m a medium rare to rare 100% In fact I love raw foods altogether. Sushi, steak tartare… give me the uncooked! LOL!!!!

OMG giant t-bones??? Those are my absolute favorite. Nobody seems to love t-bones as much as my mom and I do. I always want to buy those and everyone is always… ehh… sure. But what about THESE steaks instead?

1. Hoping to finish The Bromance Book Club tonight. I’m really tired though, sure feels like a Monday. And then, I dk what I’ll pick up next. Probably another of my BOTM to shrink my numbers, but also- I was weak and bought a book last night, Jewel E. Ann’s Pieces of a Life. I’m tempted to squirrel.
2. We’re expected to get some snow Wednesday, maybe Thursday. We’ve already used up almost all of our cancellation days on fog 🙄 so I’m sure I’ll be helping with hours worth of homework. And, I’d just like a couple solid weeks of a steady schedule.
3. I’m looking forward to watching Wolfpack on the 26th on Paramount+. I don’t even remember if I watched a trailer. But, Sarah Michelle Gellar? Sold.
Oh. Snow. Nope. It’s hot and we have toooooo many hurricanes in Florida (and mosquitoes and no-seeums) but the snow I do not miss. Well… I only miss it for 2 weeks (right around Christmas time) and then I am thrilled again to be in Florida.
Buying Jewel E. Ann is not weakness, my friend. It’s anticipation for intensity!!! 😂
You know, you’re spot on! That’s what I want. That’s why I did it, I can’t stop thinking about it. I just have over 30 books looking at me guilting me in to not buying. Lol!
Also, I like a good day of sledding. And that’s it. We’ve gotten lucky thus far with a pretty mild winter, give or take a few days.s I dk if I could take FL heat for more than 2 weeks.
I just filled my mirror up to the brim in all my jewelry (so nice to have it all sorted and untangled, and categorized) but a bunch of hair stuff, too. Special clips, and bump makers, and bedazzled hair thingies. I LOVE this purchase so much.
I have to share a happy mom moment! My 24 yo daughter just freely read her first book! In school, she hated reading. I would have to sit with her and take turns reading a chapter out loud for her to complete an assignment. She saw a book listed on TikTok that people were raving about so she decided to give it a try. She loved it so much she read it a second time and has been looking for other books to read! The book is Offside: Rules of the Game Book 1 by Avery Keelan. If I could, I’d like to personally thank the author! I used to tell her that reading a book was like having a movie play in your head. It never worked for her until this book! She is interested in hockey books so I found your list, Maryse, and sent it to her. Thank you so much for the list! ❤️
