9:51am UPDATE!!!! Good morning and happy Monday!! It’s time to build today’s early bird list, so keep checking back as I add them on. Let me know if you found something I didn’t.
THREE THINGS:
1.) I detail-pressure-washed my pool area and it looks sooooo good.
2.) Due to the pressure washing, I spent a lot of time in the sun (mind you… under my pool cage – so sort of protected) and it did me so much good! In the low 70’s all weekend and just pure bliss.
3.) I got a ton of stuff done (super-productive weekend), but nothing that I was planning on. 😉 I love when that happens. P.S. I tried watching Euphoria (3 or 4 episodes) and it’s just too dark for me, I think. So… I’m now onto “Bad Vegan” on Netflix. 🙂
LOOK WHAT JUST WENT LIVE !!!
- Falls Boys by Penelope Douglas <— THE GOOD BOY & THE BAD GIRL “…Just because I don’t have a record, honey, doesn’t mean I’m clean. It just means I’m better at not getting caught. That is until I realize I might’ve actually gone too far this time. She’s there. I’m there. The scene of the crime. It’s dark. The police show up. We have no choice. We run. Down High Street, into Quinn’s bake shop, and I pull her through the entrance to the old speakeasy that everyone forgot was here decades ago. The door locks, the cops circle the building, never knowing we’re right here, and I’m hidden in plain sight, indefinitely, with someone’s who’s awful. Mean. Rough. Dirty. A thief. A delinquent. Until one night, lost in all of these rooms together, I don’t see any of those things anymore…”

The pages of my notebook hold three sinful, feared monsters....”

Ryan Bower may be a ball-playing hottie, but where exactly does he get off telling her what books to recommend to her oddball little book club? Good thing he’s only in town for the fall. 1. I’m in a book slump, so I’ve been watching lots of Lifetime. Don’t judge me! 😆
2. I’m currently watching The Kitchen on Food Network and they just used an upside down cooling rack on the grill for green beans and my mind is blown!
3. I’ve lost 15 lbs since starting Whole30 2 months ago, and that was with a 2 week plateau (due to potatoes) and 2 weeks of doctor prescribed carb-y bland eating (more potatoes)! I can’t wait to *not* eat potatoes!
I love Lifetime. Just sayin’.
Also I love “The Kitchen” (Sunny is my favorite). So much character. Her, Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay make me happy,
AND YAY stupid 15lbs gone!! So… you lost weight EATING potatoes???
Not at first. It didn’t lose anything until I cut them out, but then my doc put me on a bland diet and I wasn’t yet eating rice so potatoes were pretty much it. I lost then, but probably because that was all I was eating. Now that I’m back to normal-ish, I need to avoid them.
I just googled Bad Vegan! 😳
Wanna watch it with me?
sure! how far in are you?
1. I’ve started diffusing my hair instead of air drying. I love the results. Though it doesn’t take long, I hate trying to fit that time in.
2. I keep wanting to watch The Parisian Agency, but I’m afraid it might lean towards reality TV? I love house hunting shows but don’t care to know any personal drama.
3. Sometimes Wordle makes me feel like I never learned how to spell or pronounce basic vocabulary.
I love wordle! The NYT mini makes me feel like an idiot most days though!
Hrmmm… I wonder if I should start diffusing again… I always let it air dry (and let’s face it, that’s not even quite “air drying” since I go to bed with my hair wet and wake up hoping it’s dry (and always allllll over the place).
I still should try wordle. I see it everywhere but have yet to dive in.
you should totally try it! and we can post our results here in the mornings!
I love wordle. I’m addicted. Give it a try.
