Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 03-27-2023

HAPPY MONDAY EARLY BIRD RELEASES!! I’ve got 15 on today’s list so far and will add more as I find ’em. 🙂

THREE THINGS:

1.) I’m watching “Knock at the Cabin Door” all by myself today while I build this list, ’cause my non-vegetable eating entourage are also NOT horror-aficiandos and didn’t want to watch it with me. *hrmph*

UPDATE ON THIS MOVIE!!! It’s by M. Night Shamalayan (who is my favorite!!!) and yet again, another hit for me. I loved it. It was gripping from the start, and I had no clue if they were nuts and we’d find out “something” after it was too late, or if they were right, and we’d find out “something” after it was too late. LOL! I know, it makes no sense, but I had NO idea how it would end, and while it didn’t have your usual horror movie “jump-scares” or gory stuff, it was terrifying in its own way. Kept me on the edge of my seat. LOVED!! I’d say 4 or 4.5 stars. It was based on this book: The Cabin at the End of the World: A Novel by Paul Tremblay. Now I want to read it, because supposedly there’s something different about the book.

2.) I’ve been craving a nice loaded Italian sub. My favorite sandwich.

3.) Author Harper Sloan posted about this nifty little tool that I had never thought of but I TOTALLY NEED!! It’s a Kindle page turner. You don’t even have to hold it and flip yourself. This thingie has the buttons to turn the pages for you. GAHHHH MINE!!! It’s called Remote Control Kindle App Page Turner (and it’s only for the Kindle app, not the actual Kindle (so if you read on your phone or your iPad or laptop – this works!
