THREE THINGS:
1.) I love stuffed crust pizza though I should not be anywhere near anything “crust-like” or bread. I love bread. Stupid bread.
2.) My huge dog loves me. He feels the need to protect me at all times. He will even place himself between me and the countertops (so I am cutting food over him) and I have no idea why.
3.) I’ve been binging Jack Ryan on Prime (Tom Clancy series) and it’s really good. I’m about to start season 3.

1. I spent yesterday recovering from my husband’s birthday on Sunday so today is Monday for me.
2. We started Citadel tonight and it’s giving me Alias feels! I tried to watch Alias with the hubs but it’s way too dated now and he kept laughing. 🙄

For the 2 of us, because we tend to skip the rice, I use 48 oz broth, 2 thighs and 4 legs, and no spinach (apparently it’s not traditional). That gives us enough for leftovers. Pulling the chicken off the bone before serving is a pain, but I’m convinced cooking it that way is what makes it so good. We also top it with Sriracha.
I always prefer meat on the bone. The juiciness/moistness it provides and the added flavor is just incredible. I used to only buy chicken breast on the bone but I can’t find it anymore.
That, and pork chops on the bone. Holy moly perfection. For Filipino food (which I love) they often just leave it all on the bone, and it’s served to you that way and you just eat around the bone. Like Chicken Adobo, or certain soups now that has that lovely bone broth. YUMMMMMY!!!
I like Citadel a bit… it does give me Alias vibes, you’re right!
There’s just something about it for me that’s kind of, goofy I guess? I did love Mayor of Kingstown and now watching Tom Clancy’s “Jack Ryan” (on season 3. First season’s storyline is the best so far for me, but I do like the pacing and “danger”.
