Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 06-19-2023

HAPPY MONDAY & JUNETEENTH! I’ve collected a few books (22, to be exact) that have just gone live in the last 24 hours, and if you have the day to read, maybe one from this list will catch your fancy. 😉

But first, I’ve had to buy a few things in the last 2 weeks, so I will highlight them in my “three things”. Tell me yours?

THREE THINGS:

1.) I just bought this and it’s coming today!! I got it on a lightning deal, and it had a coupon too!   Looks SOOOOO cozy!! I love the cushion rim. Can’t wait to try it!! EASELAND King Size Mattress Pad Pillow Top Mattress Cover

2.) My little MinPin “Hobbit” has found a new food she LOVES like crazy. She’s a super picky eater (always has been – supposedly at the rescue center she was at, she only ate human food, and the lady laughed when I told her I’d feed her “Wellness” dry dog food (side note: according to Amazon, I’ve purchased this 46 times 😂.  Anyway, she told me she’d never eat that.) Well… it’s true that it took a few days to get her to eat it, but she did. Albeit, with various (and might I say frequent) dog food changes throughout the years. As she got older (she’s 16 now), I switched her to wet food since that’s all she’d eat – yep, my picky eater no longer wanted dry food, and then she got picky with canned food! Until I just found this: Evolve Pet Food Classic Crafted Meals Chicken Recipe Dog Food, 3.5 Ounce (4 flavors). I just cut it up into chunks (so she thinks she’s eating OUR meat), and she goes to town. She’s also developed a taste for my HUGE dog’s food (he eats Kirkland’s dry dog food <— dry food – large pellets… go figure!) so she “snacks” on his food throughout the day.

3.) I also just bought an ice maker. My amazing Frigidaire “Gallery” fridge has a bug. The ice maker stops making ice. Apparently this is a known issue for this model (it’s all over the internet) and I’ve tried every possible “fix it” video online and while it might work for a day, it goes back to being a stupid non-ice maker. Grrrrr! So anyway, I have this Frigidaire one now on my counter (another Grrrrr!!) I like minimalist counters, but we like ice, and it makes lots of ice quickly and it’s easy to use. Only issue I didn’t account for, is that it’s not a freezer and you have to move the ice to the freezer, or else it will melt. Luckily I have a nice sized “ice box” in my bottom freezer so I put the ice in there.
