Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 07-17-2023

HAPPY MONDAY & starting a new week everyone!! How was your weekend? Crazy and eventful, or relaxing and cozy? I’d love to hear about it! Mine was pretty peaceful, but fun for me because I went on an re-arranging spree within my cupboards and all of my pet stuff, and deciding what I was keeping and what I was giving away. Every weekend I choose a new project and I dig in. I love organizing.

THREE THINGS:

1.) All of my orders (except for one) from my Prime Day fun arrived and everything is almost perfect! I LOVE IT ALL, no returns required. My body pillow is extra stuffed (it’s huge!) but it’s so soft and squishy that I can deal with it ’cause it’s also the most comfortable pillow I’ve ever had the luxury of squishing into. YAY ME!!

2.) My pure white throw is exactly that. Pure white. Though so white it has a slight blue cast to it compared to the pure white areas of my comforter and sheets that, next to this white throw, have a more yellow cast to it? Anyway, it’s all pure white, but not the same white. Grrrr! LOL! I thought this was an issue with grey colors but that white would be a sure thing easy. I was wrong. Anyway, it’s super soft and will be a great snuggle throw anyway.

3.) Saturday I spent the day with my mom, on FaceTime (we connect via our iPads) like in my olden days when I lived on my own and my mom and I  would be connected on FaceTime every single day together, like roommates, but in different houses. LOL! We’d just connect, and chit chat while we’d get our stuff done (like cooking together, or doing hobbies – her jewel art and me, reading), or just watching TV together. Sometimes we wouldn’t talk for hours, but just being “connected” and seeing each other going about our business in our homes was comforting. So this Saturday, my whole house crew went out on a fishing day (and most of the evening coming home late) so I spent the whole day with my mom, giving myself a pedicure, deep conditioning my hair (with my favorite Olaplex 3), etc… a “spa day” with my mom, and watching TV together. 🙂 Best day ever!
