1.) It’s been wonderfully “cold” (or more like cool-ish – in the 50s) here in Florida and I’ve been LOVING it!!!
3.) I just bought myself a cute tiny crossbody purse from Michael Kors!! I usually always go for black (and I DO have a black different one – I’ll show you that once I get it – coming too), but this was on super-sale, and the color is just too cute, and I managed to pack everything I needed into it, despite the size. Even miniature emergency makeup stuff!! I did have to buy a super-skinny wallet for it (and it’s actually an almost identical match in color. YAY ME!!!

Love that color! Perfect for cooler weather and even spring/summer. Besides our own Thanksgiving, which is chill at home with just us, we have one more at my Mom’s the day after. We don’t always do Thanksgiving there. My stepbrother is coming from out of state. I love my stepdad’s smoked turkey and requested that, lol. I’m making crockpot mashed potatoes which I’ve not made before, so I hope they’re yum. At home I throw one sweet potato in with the regular potatoes and add some garlic salt. The kids love it, but I didn’t think the other family members would so I’m doing potatoes different 2 days in a row. 😅
Oh great idea!!!! Crock pot mashed potatoes. I always do the whole “boiling them in a huge pot” shebang. It’s heavy and I’m short so dumping the water and then mashing them all up is just a pain. Such a long process (or at least for me ’cause I’d make enough for the whole party) – with the butter, and the sour cream and the shredded cheeses and making sure they’re smooth and creamy.
So yummy but so… arduous. LOL!! But I bet I’d love a crock pot version!!
The first time I ever made mashed potatoes, I whipped them so hard I made glue. LOL!!! So it ended up being instant mashed potatoes that night. ONE of my guests insisted the glue version was pretty good too, and he ate that instead. 😂
And yes… that blue color is so sweet. I have a tiny white clutch that I love by coach (and it has a small shoulder strap). Maybe I’ll get myself a pink version of a sweet small purse too.
My black one that is coming is a Kate Spade and also small but not THAT small. It’s a “dumpling” style. I think that will end up being my main carry.

I’m notorious for bringing food I’ve never tested before. 😂 And I’ve already been asked if I use pepper in my potatoes (bc too much is bad) and butter or margarine (bc butter is preferred). And I’m thinking if we’re going to be this nit picky perhaps people should bring their own. *taps toe*

I have a picky bunch of boys here (my man, included) and my spaghetti sauces have become much less… bountiful. LOL!!!
No onions, no celery, no carrots, no mushrooms, no nothing. Not even meat in the sauce. Just meatballs. LOL!! Fiiiiiiine.
One day, I’ll make MY meat sauce anyway, and I bet they’ll love it as long as I don’t tell ’em about the celery and onions (I’ll just chop them finely). Of course, mushrooms will be an impossibility. They have an aversion to mushrooms. They claim they can’t pick ’em out because it already tainted everything.
*sigh*
