Slash: A Slay Series Novella IS LIVE!! And to celebrate this release, Laurelin (as well as her publisher, 1,001 Dark Nights) are sponsoring today’s newsletter!
We have a fun tidbit about Laurelin (below) that sent me off to Google (and I still have no idea?!!) 😉 Oh and… we’re also having a giveaway! P.S. Each book can be read as a standalone.
The author says:
It’s sweet and heart-wrenching with some hot, hot scenes and I can’t wait for you to devour Camilla and Hendrix’s story.
If you’re looking for a quiet, sweet, heart-wrenching story with some hot, hot scenes too, this book is just for you.
And we have some fans of the series right here!!
Jaime: Oh holy hell this series! My mind is completely blown that Laurelin Paige could make me like Celia Werner. Like what the hell just happened!?! LOL!
Renee: Love Laurelin Paige!❤️
Joy: some of the hottest scenes… Anything by Laurelin Paige
Jaime: I FLOVED Camilla’s story! The way Hendricks saw Camilla and helped her see that she is beautiful despite her scars.
So what’s it about?
Camilla Fasbender has a secret.
Underneath her posh accent and designer clothes lies the evidence of her pain. Every heartbreak, every bad day, every setback has left a scar.
From behind her camera, she shows the world what to see. And it isn’t her.
Until him. He sees right through her carefully constructed facade. And he’s going to slash it all to pieces.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
And here’s a fun tidbit about the author:
Q: What word or saying from the past do you think should come back?
A: Groovy keno. I don’t even know if that’s a real saying, but I knew a girl who said it all the time in high school, and I’ve always been fond of it. (Basically just means super groovy).
LOL!!! I LOVE IT! Groovy I got but “keno” <— I need to look up. 😉 Though, *hrmph* I got nothing. Just a sort of “game of chance” lotto/gambling game. I guess those can be groovy. 😛
Now for the giveaway!
We’re giving away a Dark Nights swag pack (which includes a 1001 Dark Nights limited edition coloring book, colored pencils, and promo booklet & bookmark).

“Bared to You”, it left an impression 😂😳💙
I FLOVED Camilla’s story! The way Hendricks saw Camilla and helped her see that she is beautiful despite her scars.
Groovy keen(o)?
Susan Johnson’s earlier works are some of my favorites.
OH RIA!!! That actually might be what she meant. Groovy “keen” sounds just about right in regards to the meaning of both words, so together it fits. Maybe she added the “O” on the end to make it sound something like “Daddy-O” <--- LOL!!
The last steamy books I read was The Fallen Angel trilogy by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine.
Congrats to the winner
