Thanks! And I just saw it!!
Maryse, I may have missed it…but do you have a list of “childhood friends to adult lovers” type list? Someone on GR was asking for recs and I absolutely LOVE books where the couple knew each other as children. I have a thing for books with flashbacks.
You mean like A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole that is currently gutting me as I listen to it…..ugh. I’m not to the adult lovers part yet…I’m hoping they get there…currently being emotionally destroyed while they are still teenagers….sorry…obviously I needed to vent!
I believe that one is on my “too sad” list.
I’m pretty sure you should avoid it Leslie…I’m only about 30% in but all indicators are there.
Michele–Ooh that’s in audible escape! I’m putting that on my list.
Leslie!! I’m creating a BIG list as we speak. It should be up tomorrow. 😀 YAY!!!
Hey Leslie M!!
Lookit what we we started… 😉

Happy Monday, everyone! 🌞❤️️
Hubs and I went on our weekly date yesterday and had delicious prime rib, and when we got home, we watched A Star is Born. I boohooed, of course, but he also shed a tear (or two). An excellent movie! Even if the movie had been meh, the singing would have made it worth watching, IMO–it gave me chills!
I LOVE A Star is Born!! I love that you two have your weekly dates!
Yeah I loved it too. Great performances from the two leads. I loved the music.
