<— Monogamy Book One. Lover: This is one love for life and beyond time IS LIVE and the author is celebrating her new release by sponsoring today’s newsletter, giving her book away for FREE for the next few days, and she’s sent over a few reading tips. These tips made me giggle (especially #4, #7 & #10). LOL!!! 😛
That synopsis gave me a few jolts for sure. It sounds romantically super-angsty and intense and I’m so curious what the “forbidden” part means… and where it’s going to take us!! Oh wait!! I just clued in. She’s in a loveless marriage and he… desperately wants to worship her. Oh I bet this one’s gonna tear our hearts out…
Like this:
Nothing is as it seems at first sight. Feelings are laid bare. There is no black and white. There is no right. And the wrong feels too good to be trusted.
…Valeria has never experienced actual romance (an early pregnancy, a hasty marriage, a life filled with work and study) and considers herself a pragmatist. She was taught to live by the rules: if you get married, then you love your husband; if you dream of a new home, then you work hard. But when, against all logic, she finds a beautiful stranger in her bed, her world turns upside down. After all, falling for the forbidden can be too sweet not to try… at least once.
They come from the opposite ends of the globe, but the collision of two soulmates is destined….
The author says:
“As a celebration it will be free for several days. I want to share it with as many book addicts and romance lovers as possible. There is magic in this book that makes life more vibrant”
About her writing, she says: “I like to write about people, their very personal emotions and feelings. I feel deeply what my characters are feeling, because I see the examples in real life. I love my heroes and never leave them forever in tragedy, parting, hopelessness, but rather always lead to the happiness. I take my reader`s breath away only in order to make them feel alive when they start breathing again. So that everyday things become appreciated more sharply and their value floated to the surface.”
About the main characters in Monogamy:
“…Strong and pragmatic Valery sings her heart out and analyses every aspect of her world and company finances.
Alex has a tortured soul and a big heart, fascinated with the environmental security.
Being born in the opposite ends of the globe the two soul mates inevitably collide. Valery struggles to make a choice between her morals and forbidden passion whereas Alex is obsessed with his deep feelings for her…”
And I just found an excerpt from the author’s Facebook page that just about tore my heart out:
I’m sharing one of the very emotional moment in Alex and Valery’s life today. It’s another milestone in their story:
‘Be mine… Be mine, I’m begging you! Be mine… I’ll place the world at your feet if you’ll only be mine! I promise! You will never, ever regret it, believe me! Be mine… please! Be… mine…’
That day, Alex’s emotional saturation reached its peak. His pain was so intense, and he was so young, that neither his amazing self-restraint nor his self-confidence were able to hold back the flood of feelings and emotions overwhelming him. It is the only time I ever see him like that.
As for me, I found out early on, through personal experience, that falling in love passes quickly, as do strong feelings. I feel bad for him, but I know he’ll soon get over it. Give it a couple of months and he’ll have found himself someone else.
