Retro Find!! Jessica Bird’s Webpage Before She Became The Awesome “J.R. Ward”

in J.R. Ward

Now I’m sure many of you already have seen this (as many J.R. Ward fans probably already know she has written contemporary romance novels under the name “Jessica Bird”).

But I actually took the time to surf her old webpage, and giggle in delight!! She used to be a lawyer! And I love how she admits *adjusting* to her new writer lifestyle.

“She’s now adjusting to the writer’s lifestyle- and loves going to work in her slippers!”

My husband commented “hrmmmm… I think she’s well adjusted by now…”.

And then… I *squee’d* when I saw this in her “coming soon” section:

“Also, if you like vampires, check out my new paranormal series The Black Dagger Brotherhood! Written under the name J.R. Ward, these books are dark, sexy and full of suspense”

And she only listed the FIRST two books!! They were so shiny and new back then. Ahhhh if only she knew then, what she (and we) all know now… that this series was going to rock ALL of our worlds!!

Here are some fun screenshots (left and below) I took, in case, you know… she ever takes it down. I love the retro feel of who she was before she became “the WARDen”. Check it out for yourself!

She rereleased her “Jessica Bird” books recently under the JR Ward name………….I thought those were pretty good too. Definetely different from the “Brothers” though.

Thanks for posting this Maryse. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of her without her sunglasses on, LOL!

I haven’t read her Jessica Bird books yet, but I intend to. Good to know they’re good too.
