HOLY MOLY PROJECTOR OF MY DREAMS!! This plays beautiful window scenes while we read…

By Leave a Comment

My husband just found this for me (while *ahem* in the bathroom scrolling instagram) and what a FIND IT IS!!! So I ran to Amazon (comments indicated it was the HY300 Ultra), found one that (at least for me) comes BY CHRISTMAS!! So I just bought it for myself!!! ‘Cause OMG who doesn’t want to read in this amazing ambiance!!?? Turn your bedroom (or reading room) into a fantasy world, or a cozy world, while you read.

PERFECTION!!! This one comes by Christmas: HY300 Ultra (and it’s the one I just ordered). What’s so fun is I love to play YouTube “scene” videos on my TV while we eat supper, or like… when I put up my Christmas tree, I had a snowy log cabin that had a fireplace & Christmas music, and now with this, I can play it on my entire wall. Turn my whole room into an oasis!! read more

My Lash Lift Kit Experience: Worth It… But Not for the Faint of Heart. It’s a bit tricky, at first…

Luxe Cosmetics – Lash Lift Kit – Complete Set for Eyelash Lifting – New Pro Version <— I did something crazy but it worked… ish. I did an at home lash-lift with that viral “Luxe” system (I saw the ad in my reels and I couldn’t help myself), and my eyelashes now look like they USED to in my 20s and 30s. YAY ME!!!!!

P.S. DISCLAIMER!! THESE ARE CHEMICALS near your eyeballs!!! SO if you decide to try this, do so at your own risk ’cause this is kind of crazy (at least my husband definitely thought so – should we even be able to do this ourselves? 🧐😳 ). Requires lots of patience and being super careful and having time to slow down and watch all the videos before starting AND I watched while I did it, as well. The vloggers doing this while I was doing it was somehow comforting to me. 😉 read more

My review of the BenQ e-Reading LED Desk Lamp that I use as my reading lamp

BenQ e-Reading LED Desk Lamp with Swing Arm, Auto-Dimming and Hue Adjustment, No Screen Glare, Eye Care, Perfect for Designers, Engineers, Architects, Reading, Office – Silver

The lamp I received, in use. I tried to capture the two different lighting temperatures and various dimming but it’s not coming through in the photos.

Over the last few days I’ve been using this reading lamp (can also be used as a desk lamp) that I received from the BenQ company for review. And this thing is pretty great overall! It’s almost exactly what I needed (at least, by way of my needs for when I read a print book, vs. my Kindle). Almost, you ask? Well about 85% perfect (and I’ll get to that in a bit). read more

Makeup & Skincare Chat ➔ SKIN CARE

Tasha: I don’t wanna blow this whistle too early, so *knocks on wood*, but I went back to my Doterra skin care after baby. Now, after both previous babies, I’d get big hormonal acne for a week or 2, always. I didn’t have Doterra then and I’d use Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Olay acne stuff, or sensitive and acne spot treatments. It was ok, never great. THIS time however, nothing near as bad!

Now, at first I did the face wash and toner in this kit and added a drop of Doterra e.o. Juniper Berry to to doTERRA HD Clear Facial Lotion every night after a shower. Worked great. Then I stopped the Juniper Berry, for no real reason, I’m just lazy, I guess and continued the face wash, toner and HD lotion and used the spot treatment whenever one popped up. That’s always worked just ok for me. read more

Makeup & Skincare Chat ➔ MAKEUP BRUSHES:

Tasha J: I just bought the beauty blender from Sephora and I got the cleaner for it too. I bought all my bare minerals makeup and mascara from Sephora too. But when I bought makeup yesterday, I bought it from our local Peebles, cuz I don’t have time or patience for anything else. It’s este lauder. They have Clinique too and that’s it. When I checked Amazon for the beauty blender yesterday, the reviews all said it was fake fake fake, so I don’t trust it. read more
