Reader Question – The book about the heroine that purposely got on a sex trafficking boat to find her friend…

April 25, 2019 By Maryse 9 Comments

Mercedes needs our book help!! It’s fully loaded in detail and sounds quite tumultuous, so I “spoiler-alerted” along the way. 😉

I’ve been looking for the title of a book for over 8 months and she said you were good at finding out and directed me this way

Omg yay I hope you can find it!

Here are the details.

1. This was a series maybe or just a long book. She went to a different country got on a boat that is known for highest bidder and sex trafficking. She is in the search for her best friend who she thinks went to the boatas a journalist. read more

Reader Question – The book about the heroine that secretly likes it… rough. ;)

April 18, 2019 By Maryse 1 Comment

Tatum is looking for this audiobook!

She asks:

I started listening to this audiobook, but have since lost it and can’t remember the name…please help.

It’s about this young girl who secretly likes rough sexual stuff and is told by her mom that she is bad. Then she meets this guy who she tells her secret to and he doesn’t think it’s bad…and they have a relationship/sex.

Do you know which book it is? It has an audiobook version so it would be a semi-popular book. read more

Reader Question – The book with the heroine that was banned from team sports because of her antics…

Author Brei Betzold has one for us! Ooooh I LOVE when authors send us their own reader questions (’cause they’re readers too!) and this one sounds hilarious!! I can already imagine the antics…

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

I’m in search of a book, at this point just to make sure I hadn’t imagined it because no one seems to remember it.

I *think* I read this a few years ago but I’m not positive on the timeline.

I can only really remember one scene, the h is athletic but she’s also very competitive to the point that she wasn’t allowed to play competitive sports in school because of her antics. read more

Reader Question – The book with an Irish Rugby team and the photographer…

April 18, 2019 By Maryse 5 Comments

Yusha needs our book help! Oh Yusha… you just mentioned my favorite key words when it comes to romance books. SLOOOOOWWW BURN!! YES PLEASE!!! I gotta know which one this is, too!! 😀

She asks:

Hello!

I’ve loved/ followed your blog for sooooo long and I’m finally finally hitting the reader question because I’m trying to recall a book and it’s driving me mental! Not even 100% sure this is where I ask but here it goes!

So the book I’m pretty sure revolves around an Irish rugby team from America. The h is a photographer and she shoots the team for an editorial or a calendar! Anyways they become super good friends (with tension) and read more

Reader Question – The book about the girl in a bar that fights some vamps (and it’s witty)…

April 11, 2019 By Maryse 8 Comments

Nancy is looking for this one (or is it 2)? She’s not sure if she’s mixing two of them up and mashing them together.

She asks:

Hey Maryse!

Need some help! Looking for a book- believe is was para/fan.

I think it begins with the girl in a bar, and she fights some vamps? It’s witty and sarcastic and I think from her fight she attracts some attention – maybe the potential H? I do know she wins the fight and shows a thing or two. It’s not Dorina either.

Could be set in Australia? read more
