Following my heart, one book at a time...
Tracy is looking for this one! Oh we have a huge crew here into the fake marriages, and while her question doesn’t have much detail, I’m sure this one will spark someone’s memory.
She asks:
I’m looking for a book!
It’s about this Russian guy who works for an American lady. He was going to be deported so the woman married him so that he can continue with his job.
It’s a marriage of convenience gone wrong kinda story.
TIA
Jenna is having other-worldly cravings 😉 and she’s hoping our book crew has some recommendations!
Right off the bat, I know TONS in our crew here will say Anne Bishops “The Others” series (I read #1 and loved it – here’s my 5-STAR review – and I should totally continue devouring them as our crew have).
She asks:
Hi Maryse!
I was hoping you’d help put me out of my book funk misery by asking your readers for some recommendations?!
Books where the storyline is based purely on romance no longer holds interest for me (sob).
Sonia is looking for anguish, heartache, slow-burning, love stories. Reunited and it feels so good… 😉
She asks:
Hi Maryse.
It’s me again. I’m looking for a book that has a couple that reunited.
A book like The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred But not the exact same. Like this book is like one with 100% love & anguish feels to it .
I liked the Sweet Gum Tree because of the character development. Slow romance but not too slow. The love between the characters.
The anguish, abuse Nick faced then the anguish Alix faced later on, the sacrifice Nick did… the separation. Then Nick groveling or more asking for forgiveness.
Maria is looking for this one! Rock stars and just enough info to spark someone’s memory I’m sure (without any spoilers at all!). YAY US!
She asks:
hi maryse, being trying to think of a book series that I read.
- about a rock band,
- first one has female pilot flying the band.
- books have one word in title.
- from a few years ago.
they were good but can’t remember the author or what the titles were…..lol. does this ring a bell…..would love help finding the author to see if there are anymore in the series…..
thank you…
maria
Anyone recognize this series?
Jessica: Reminds me a bit of True Love Story by Willow Aster too. But it’s been years so my memory is fuzzy.
Jay has one for us, and it’s short and sweet (and sounds forbiddeny!!!!!) 😉
She asks:
Please I am looking for a book. Saw it here.
About an agent who saves a young girl and they end up together. I think the girl was initially under age.
Thanks.
I bet someone knows it!! Anyone have a guess?
Cheryl: It sounds like one of Suzanne Brockmann’s Troubleshooters series – maybe Breaking Point: A Novel (Troubleshooters Book 9)?
Anna: Could it be Enzo by K Webster?
Peachy: Could be “Resisting Her” by Kendall Ryan
