April 26, 2013 By Maryse 9 Comments

Any vampire pros out there? I thought I was but this is one I haven’t read yet. Sounds like fun, though!! I’ve read a few vampire series featuring female detectives (Anita Blake, The Makers Song, and The Calling to name a few) but not this one.

Christine asks:

I am looking or a book that was called sex and? Or ? And sex. I think. Vampire was Michael and he owned a club which was like a sex club, and the heroine was cop detective. The other vampires in book also got a book in the series. Any idea. read more

Reader Question – The book with the werewolf being hounded to find his mate…

April 26, 2013 By Maryse 3 Comments

Er… that title doesn’t help at all, does it? What werewolf isn’t looking for his mate? LOL!

Okay, so another reader looking for a book title. Maybe the “werewolf book” experts can help pinpoint this one as there are a few extra details that the reader included in her question…

Maryse I wonder if you could help me please…. I started reading a book the other day about a werewolf that was looking for his mate and the towns would bring their best women to him and he still didn’t find her and the mother was hounding him. His mother or him was saying he would have to go out to the towns and look for her then…… And that’s about all I have read and for the life of me I cannot find it don’t know where I read it from so I certainly don’t know the author or title it’s sooooo annoying me… Would you have any idea what book it would be? Any help would be great thanks xxx Anne read more

Reader Question – The book where the guy is getting a tattoo and the girl thinks it’s something else… ;)

April 20, 2013 By Maryse 6 Comments

Oh! This one sounds like fun! Tattoos and seemingly obvious situation that ends up being a total misunderstanding. I love when that happens. In books, I mean! In books. In real life, I’d be pretty ticked. Or embarrassed, depending on “who” they were… 😉

“L” asks:

“… I was wondering if you could help me with a book. I read an excerpt a while ago and can’t remember the title or author. Don’t remember if the book’s been released already or will be released soon. I think the excerpt has to do with the heroine who’s looking for the hero (can’t remember why) and finds him getting a tattoo by a woman on her knees, but the heroine didn’t notice the tattoo part, so she got the wrong impression. Thanks for any help you can provide.” read more

Reader Question – The book where the bad guys chase them into the woods…

April 20, 2013 By Maryse 10 Comments

This one almost sounds like a scene out of Karina Halle’s “Sins & Needles” but instead of woods, it was the Vegas strip… so my guess is probably not right.

Do you guys know which book Stacy is looking for?

Stacy asks:

“I read a short teaser for an upcoming book release (on a blog I think) and can’t remember the name of the book or author. I’m hoping you will know after I describe it. It was a short scene with a man and woman who are being chased in their car by “bad guys”. They are being shot at and end up ditching their car and running through a wooded area. The woman is able to shot one of the guys and they eventually loose the bad guys in the woods. read more

Reader Question – The book where the famous guy doesn’t show up for her prom…

April 20, 2013 By Maryse 6 Comments

Gah! The dead cell-phone excuse. But sure enough, it happens! So what book is Ladonna looking for?

Ladonna asks:

“Hello, the book I’m looking for is one I’ve read but forgot the title. I remember that there was a scene where the female was supposed to go to prom/dance with the boy but he didn’t show up. I think he was famous and he was supposed to fly in for her dance but his phone died so he couldnt call her. This is probably in many books but if you have any ideas, please let me know. Thank you in advance! :)” read more
