I want to write a review, but I’m too sad right now cause my book’s over…so I’m giving myself the evening to get over it and I’ll write it tomorrow morning. It was real good by the way…”Tsunami Blue” by Gayle Ann Williams. I miss the them. Stupid likeable characters!! I hope she continues this as a series.

What I’m Reading Today…
So I’ve ventured back into the "Immortals After Dark" series. I’ve just started book two (No Rest for the Wicked), and the tone is very much like the first.
Again, I’m slightly creeped out by the Valkyrie females. They’re just scary weird. Sweet, and beautiful like angels but dangerous and each quirky in their own way. Anger them and beware of the lightening wrath that may strike you down. Freak them out, and their high pitched screeching might just deafen you, and will most certainly shatter all the glass in their vicinity.
What I am Reading Today – A Darker Dream by Amanda Ashley
Ohhh look what I found! A book by Amanda Ashley called “A Darker Dream”, that doesn’t appear to be part of a deeply involved series. It seems to be a historical romance with vampires…best of both worlds!
It goes something like this: Rhianna is sold by her father (due to extreme poverty) to a dark stranger (Rayven – a vampire). He ends up treating her like a queen (but he has that wonderful vampire angst that won’t dare to allow himself to love)… oooooh sounds like an easy one night stand of fun (reading that is ;))
Reading Challenge for 2010!
I’m happy to say I will be participating in J.Kaye’s 100+ Reading Challenge for the upcoming year. It will be nice to whittle away at my TBR pile (or piles, as they have quickly become), and get to see what the other participants are reading too! This will be my official count down page, as I log each book I read. Of course, I intend on reviewing every one (or at least the majority of them).

Stupid Book Is Making Me Cry!
Damn Stephenie Meyer and her “The Host“!!! I can’t believe I’m crying again over a book (and one of hers, again, no less!)
Oh the shame…my husband was wondering why I was taking so long in the bathroom, and really, how long can I actually hide in there? I had to come out, and face the real world all puffy face and sniffling, where no amount of cold water could wash away the evidence.
What, do you think I’m actually giving away a spoiler? Fear not. The only spoiler I can guarantee is that you will cry. I don’t even know how it ends, since I can’t even reach the end yet, ’cause I’m sobbing too hard to be able to read anything!
