One of my favorite authors from my “paranormal” days (Kresley Cole), is writing a er… contemporary romance? And by “contemporary romance” I mean a hero (or is he an anti-hero?) Russian Mafia enforcer/ex MMA-fighter bad boy/bad guy series!
Tee hee!! Could she have chose a lot of more “up my alley” qualities in a “bad guy” book hero? 😉 Book #1 is out, and two more to come in just a few weeks!

Lothaire
Yet again, another Kresley Cole book that I LOVED! And noooooo! I know what you might be thinking’! Nuh uh! I’m not being all biased ’cause I saw, and sorta hugged on the author and vampire up close, in real life and all. *blush*
Okay, well… I mean, I do admit I didn’t have to struggle to imagine Lothaire in my head. It does help my attention span when the “hero” (or in this case, villain/potential hero) is *real* to me. Where I can perfectly visualize everyone of his expressions, from the dark stare, to the the humor in his eyes, as he loosens up in his personal life. And in this case, Lothaire couldn’t have been clearer. I must thank Kresley for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy Lothaire in all of his splendor! Y’all rocked my reading experience!!

I have over 400 pictures from the event (some gorgeous ones of Kresley in all of her beautiful enthusiasm), and will be uploading many of them over the next few days, to my Facebook photos, but thought I’d make a quick “scrapbook” version here, and include some funny tidbits or anecdotes that I remembered from that day!
Okay, I’ve put together a couple of fun videos of the book signing (with more to come). And of course, I’m still planning on putting together a part 2 of the event (with tons more pictures). I’ve got so many to choose from, and will be putting that up shortly.

OMG!!! That was fun!!!! Yesterday was the Best. Day. EVER! Overwhelming in so many ways, but so amazing. I’m just thrilled that I had the opportunity and good fortune to attend. I mean, just… WOW, right??!! I… just… speechless. My words. They have left me once again but I’m hoping to get them back as I recount a few of the silly moments throughout the day. I’ve just finally started coming down off of the crazy adrenaline trip that started Friday night and didn’t let up until right about now (when I thought, okay, maybe I can speak again). 😉
