Shannon Mayer just posted this one up for preorder!!! Pamela (The Rylee Adamson Epilogues Book 3) AND reminds us of an online auction (a signed books benefit) loaded in signed books by our favorite authors! It will be on November 35th and you must check this event out to participate!
Julianna Keyes (one of my latest absolute favorite books is one of hers ➔ Undecided and here’s my review) lets us into her head… and into her latest work in progress, too! She’s just had to cut out some scenes that weren’t working for her (disappointingly) but in the process, has found a whole new thing that she’s absolutely loving. Here’s just a tidbit from what she says:
“…As you can see from the word count below, the story is already too long. I imagine it’ll be another 10,000 words before I type “THE END” (and collapse into a bedraggled heap), then I’ll need to cut about 15-20,000 words to get it to a more manageable length. I’m not quite as stressed about that as I am irritated, because I generally work out all the unnecessary stuff in my head before I start writing so I don’t have to do so much deleting when all is said and done. But hindsight is, as they say, 20-20, and it’s only as I reach the end that I see the core of the story and am better able to hack out everything that’s getting in the way…”
