Kooloo October 13, 2017 at 9:45 AM

Leslie girl! They don’t have Nespresso in the states??? I bought mine at Costco last year… here watch the commercials and you’ll remember!
(How can anyone forget Cloony – shame on you lol)

Kooloo October 13, 2017 at 9:53 AM

Maryse, I’m at 55% and have a busy weekend ahead of me. Ugh!

Ela October 13, 2017 at 12:51 PM

Soooooooooooo! I read Sect right after Tessa and now I’m on book 3 Seducing Virtue (Wicked Trinity, #3) by Courtney Lane! AND LET ME TELL YOU – 2 WORDS – SEX CULT – now go read, you’re welcome!

Tasha J October 13, 2017 at 3:15 PM

Maryse, I finally watched Gerald’s Game last night!! So proud of myself. *pats back* It actually wasn’t as scary as I psyched myself up for it to be…didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. I almost got sick a few times though, lol.

Tessa October 13, 2017 at 6:27 PM

It turned into a sex cult? *looks at book two* Huh. Alright, I’m intrigued again.

I’m reading Bloodring. I finished The Knight and The Castle by Skye Warren and *grins* It was exactly what I needed. The series is not technically a mafia book, but mafia or gang stuff in it, and it is really messed up.

Maryse October 13, 2017 at 7:44 PM

OMG yes, Tasha… there are some VERY disturbing scenes. And gross ones too.

Kooloo October 13, 2017 at 8:13 PM

Just came back from watching the new Jackie Chan movie and I was gooood and the guy is 63 years old Amazballs!!!

Kooloo October 13, 2017 at 8:17 PM

Even though I have to work tomorrow- Bummer I KNOW I really wanted to read the day away… anyway I have started reading Animal by Marni Mann have high hopes for this one

Leslie M October 13, 2017 at 8:22 PM

I have never seen those Nespresso commercials! George Clooney…..*fans self*

bev October 13, 2017 at 8:49 PM

Happy Friday everyone!

Maryse, you snuck in a very touching confession.
Books helped me escape in a not too dissimilar situation. Around when I started “talking” on here.

I am determined to actually read this weekend. Determined.

Cheryl October 13, 2017 at 9:47 PM

Happy friday the 13th, but most importantly happy weekend!! It has been a rough week.

Just finished Sure Thing. Great read!! Now what?! Unloved, From This Moment, One- from the list above, or one of the many on my tbr?! But first, I have to go to Bunko. *sigh* would rather curl up with my kindle.

Cheryl October 13, 2017 at 9:54 PM

Came home a little tipsy from bunko and realized I never posted my previous comment-that’s why it’s just now showing up.

Starting One and have to say so far so good!

Kooloo October 13, 2017 at 11:28 PM

5 freeeeekin stars for “ANIMAL” why have I not read this already?!? (actually kinda glad I didn’t because Book #2 just came out… need to know the story of *spoiler* did not see that coming – actually did not see 75% of that crazy shit coming)
Girls I don’t think I can wait to BR “Monster” I may have to jump right in after work tomorrow!!!!

Kooloo October 13, 2017 at 11:33 PM

Omg I just noticed the time stamps of my comments of when I started the book till now lol *%#~ 3.5hours *%*#€> Man I devoured that book like an Animal!!!! Lol sorry that’s me coming off my book high NIGHT xoxo

Leslie M October 14, 2017 at 8:33 AM

Bev, same here with the books helping me escape thing. I hope you find a good one to read this weekend. I am queen of book slumps, so I get it.

Cheryl, what the heck is Bunko? I too am DYING to read Unloved & From This Moment.

Kooloo, you make me laugh. You are like the energizer bunny of reading.

Maryse October 14, 2017 at 9:12 AM

We shall read together, then, bev. <3 I too, have been feeling a touch melancholy, and need to “escape”. *hug*

Leslie M October 14, 2017 at 9:31 AM

I finished Ghosted. Wow! That made me emotional. I fell in love with all the characters. 4.5 ****

I need something “fun” so I started Dr. Neuro by Max Monroe on audio. Max Monroe’s books always give me a laugh.

I am e-reading Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh which is my “pick for me” challenge AND Jan’s 5 star pick.

Jean October 14, 2017 at 9:48 AM

Kooloo, I loved Animal too. Need to read 2nd book ASAP!

Leslie, happy you loved Ghosted! It was great!

Maryse and bev, hope you both find something to read that makes you smile. It’s been a tough year for me too. We all have our down days. *hugs to Maryse* *light patting to bev’s back*

Cheryl October 14, 2017 at 10:51 AM

Leslie, bunko is a dice game. It’s really an excuse to get together and eat and drink monthly. Group of 12 who have been doing this since my oldest was in kindergarten. We take turns hosting.

One is absolutely a good book slump read. Funny and well-written and has
a hot quarterback H, and like etsub said above- He goes to Beijing. Just. To. Kiss. Her!! AND he bought her tampons. “Tampons. Tampons were my proverbial long-stemmed roses. Tampons took my breath away.” *sigh* Although, I am waiting for the proverbial sh!t to hit the fan!!

Kooloo October 14, 2017 at 1:42 PM

Heya Beauties! Still at work but just have to say I love Fall def’ my fav season – gosh the changing colours of the leaves here just take my breath away! Anyway I would totally recommend Unloved as I good escape for the soul… it has adventure, sexy times, and real felt emotions.

Kooloo October 14, 2017 at 1:54 PM

And for those who are struggling in Book Slump-Land why not take a break from your regularly scheduled genres *gasps and booing from the audience* Now now just wait hear me before you condemn me! Lol
I’m telling you from experience it makes you appreciate what you love about reading even more.TRUST Me
So where does one start well why not try what I call “The Jason Bourne-like genre” and my personal favourite *trupets bast*
“Orphan X” by Gregg Hurwitz
You can thank me later ;)

bev October 14, 2017 at 2:59 PM

Lol. I do do that sometimes to get out of a slump. In fact have read that book. And the first, and maybe the second?, Bourne book by Ludlum. All good reads.
I have a few whispering to me…..so we will see.

bev October 14, 2017 at 3:51 PM

Hey, you ladies want to hello? Books I’m thinking of trying to read this week……one, I’ll choose one. Want to help me choose?

1. The Accident Season by Moira Fowley-Doyle.

2. Under the Sardinian Sky by Sara Alexander.

3. Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore.

4. Roses and Rot by Kat Howard

5. What the Librarian Did by Marina Bliss

Or a re read of Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

Whatever it is I am giving myself the week to read it.

Maryse October 14, 2017 at 4:48 PM

I’m in Florida, Kooloo. I am jealous of your changing leaves… SOOOOO beautiful! I miss that. I miss the crisp cold smell of the air.

Maryse October 14, 2017 at 4:49 PM

LOL Jean… yeah I hesitated on the hug… ;) But I went in!!!

Maryse October 14, 2017 at 4:51 PM

bev… now I have to look up each one of those books!! Although… more treasures to discover so I’m in!

Leslie M October 14, 2017 at 5:49 PM

Bev, What the Librarian Did.

That cover!! Hee hee :)

Tasha J October 14, 2017 at 5:55 PM

Wild Beauty

Maryse October 14, 2017 at 6:31 PM

First: If I can remember correctly, I read the Librarian one back in 2011 and really liked it. For some reason I don’t have a review?

And second:

Okay ALL of these sound awesome!!!!!

I mean… I can’t choose. Right off The Accident Season had me (accidents… and the way it hinted at not what they’d be expecting!!!), but Sardinian Sky has that forbidden love aspect…. Roses and Rot sounds all sorts of abusive, and then of course Wild Beauty with that love-curse… and that mysterious boy.

AHHHHH ALL SOUND EXACTLY like what I’d love. *sigh* WHICH ONE?????

I’m going with Sardinian Sky for the angsty aspect. But they all sound loaded in angst-potential. :D !!!!

Kooloo October 14, 2017 at 7:11 PM

Bev, Rose & Rot has my vote! BUT that Librarian book definitely win for best cover!!!!

Kooloo October 14, 2017 at 7:21 PM

Ok is anyone else loosing there f%#* mind on how f^*#%>< sexy Jamie Fraser is on Season 3 of OUTLANDER!!! I mean COME ON he should win All the awards for his saxyyy skirt ass.

Kooloo October 14, 2017 at 7:26 PM

Anyways I did have point here… ummmmm Oh ya I have been searching for a book or series that’s like Outlander – you know with time travel and sexy times. AND I may have found it, anyone heard of “Beautiful Wreck” by Larissa Brown?!? OR I’m open for suggestions too

Tessa October 14, 2017 at 8:09 PM

Roses and Rot or The Accident Season – Both sound intriguing.

bev October 14, 2017 at 8:11 PM

You guys are a big help. At least we know we are not a hive mind.

Jan October 15, 2017 at 1:56 AM

Ooh, a new Kristen Ashley coming up. Good!

And I like the look of the new kindle reader. My current one is getting a bit old and shabby. Have to look into a new one :D

Thanks for all of the updates, as usual, Maryse :D

Leslie M October 15, 2017 at 8:52 AM

I am totally losing my mind on this seasons Outlander!!! I cannot wait for tonight’s epi.

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 10:36 AM

My pleasure Jan!! I’m definitely getting that waterproof Kindle. I’m always somewhere near water when I want to read. Especially the bath. ;)

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 10:54 AM

Thank you Leslie I just knew we we’re kindred spirits!!!

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 10:55 AM

Did you check out Beautiful Wreck!?! What do you think

Amy October 15, 2017 at 2:25 PM

Hi ladies!!! Who needs a hug? Anyone ’round here need a hug? ‘Cause I need lotsa hugs and snuggles. Aaaaand… *scrolls back up* Looks like I’m not the only one feeling a bit blah lately. GROUP SNUGGLE TIME!

I worked 64 hours this past week and still have to catch up on the Tuesday post and this post. On the plus side though, I have switched positions (again!) and now work in blood donation and I’m enjoying it!! Life is too short (and I’m too old) to not experience different jobs until I find the one I am absolutely content with. :D

Annnnnnyways…how is everyone else doing? I’ve missed you all!!!

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 2:27 PM

I need a hug. The Browns are losing at a fantastically new level and Aaron Rodgers just broke his collarbone! #sendbooze

Congrats on the new position Amy!

Amy October 15, 2017 at 2:30 PM

I’m finishing up The Ghostwriter today (finally!) and HOLY MOLY!!!! This may be my favorite of this year!! There are a few contenders though so I’ll have to see which one has stuck with me at the end of this year. ;)

I seriously have had to force myself not to pick up Ghostwriter for several days because when I *do* start reading, I don’t want to stop…and I actually made myself late for work last week because I wouldn’t stop reading it in the morning.

But MAN, was it worth it!

Amy October 15, 2017 at 2:34 PM

Booze sent, R. Oh, those poor Browns. After last year they really, REALLY need to have a good season. *shakes head*

And thank you! I blew up someone’s vein and then got sprayed with another donor’s blood (below the neck, at least ;) ) but all in all it’s been fun!

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 2:38 PM

Thanks Amy! I think this year is worse. Even they dude who tweets for the Browns has resorted to eyeroll-y faces. I keep thinking he’s snapped and is about to be fired, but apparently the powers that be understand.

bev October 15, 2017 at 2:46 PM

You blew up SOMEONE’S. VEIN.

And sprayed by blood?

Someone catch Maryse before she hits the floor.

bev October 15, 2017 at 2:48 PM

And remember our Halloween BR.

Or book blood will be sprayed. Seriously I will kill all the books.

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 2:58 PM

LOL bev. YOU AND ME!!! We are ON it. Let’s threaten Amy now. :)

Amy October 15, 2017 at 3:05 PM

Oh no…There Will Be Blood. Book blood. *giggle* I’ve missed your humor, bev. And I’m totally hugging you in my head. ONLY in my head. ;)

And YES! I am still in for the BR. Book is loaded and ready. We won’t have a repeat of Bronze Horseman…promise.

*drags pink fainting couch over for Maryse*

Amy October 15, 2017 at 3:08 PM

WHOA! Dude, I will pull out the paintball gun and aim it at y’all’s thighs if we’re resorting to threats!! :P Yes, I’ve had Badger on my mind for the last week for some reason…

Wait…are you reading it with us, Maryse??

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 3:33 PM

Amy you’re a “poker” that’s what we lab tech were called the hospital I worked at. MAN blown veins… wow that takes me back *eyes misting over* poking was my first job in the medical field well before a became a “Legalized” Drug Dealer teehee

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 3:41 PM

I’ll take one of those hugs for sure! I think I read too many dark books in a row and still need to finish Sect Book #3 OF Course I blame ELA and Lisa’s peer pressure to finish this F*#% up series… I think I’ll rock my self to sleep tonight in my closet

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 3:46 PM

*snuggles fellow Canadian Kooloo!!!!* :)

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 3:47 PM

Okay wait…

Are we talking about veins and blood?

I will die.

Is that why bev caught my potential faint?

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 3:49 PM

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 3:51 PM

Aaron Rodgers… maybe he needs a blood test?

*veins… needles in veins… blood spurts*

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 3:53 PM

scrolled back through the comments and am finally catching up on Amy…

*gulp* and her new job…

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 3:59 PM

Maybe Maryse! And a hug. And snuggles. And…

bev October 15, 2017 at 4:00 PM

Our Amy is a “poker”.

Amy October 15, 2017 at 4:16 PM

I hardly knew ‘er.

*cups hand around ear for collective groan*

Amy October 15, 2017 at 4:17 PM

*fans Maryse while smothering a giggle*

Leslie M October 15, 2017 at 4:58 PM

Big fat yuck to you all who have professions that pertain to blood, veins, and bodily fluids of any kind. Ewwww! Please slide fainting couch this way.

Kooloo, I love every single thing about Outlander show. The actors, acting, setting, costumes, history, plot, etc. I have never read the books though. This is type of story I need visual on.

By “visual” I mean lots and lots and lots of seeing Sam Heughan. ;)

Tessa October 15, 2017 at 5:08 PM

I have a bigger issue with the fact that a needle was involved in the vein explosion. *shudders*

Amy October 15, 2017 at 5:22 PM

I’m thoroughly enjoying all of the cringing. :P

On that note, let me explain the blood spray…it was a big ole juicy vein just BEGGING to be poked, but the timing and speed of needle placement has to be just right. Go in too fast and I risk poking through the vein entirely and blowing it (like I did on another donor). Go in too slow and it will spray. So I’m carefully putting in the 16-gauge needle, it spurts (*snort*), she jerks her arm back, and SON OF A COCK!!!!! I get sprayed. Her response? She laughs hysterically and tells me her blood looks good on me.

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 5:39 PM

*comes to*

Corny!!! Amy is as corny as me. LOVE IT!

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 5:39 PM

*reads Tessa’s comment*

*faints again*

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 5:41 PM

*reads Amy’s comment*

*faints EXTRA HARD*

DO NOT REVIVE ME if this is the conversation of the evening…

*faints just for good measure*

bev October 15, 2017 at 5:52 PM

Maryse …um…you know that br book is a take on those old slasher movies right????

Though why I’m reading it….i have no idea. It will scare me.

bev October 15, 2017 at 5:54 PM

Though Amy’s obvious delight is also scary.

Amy October 15, 2017 at 5:56 PM

*tries to shake Maryse awake*

Wake up. Please?? I just finished The Ghostwriter. Hold me? Please?!?

*keeps shaking Maryse*

Amy October 15, 2017 at 5:58 PM

“Though Amy’s obvious delight is also scary.” <—– It IS the month of scary, after all. *smirks*

Hey bev, help me wake up Maryse…she KNOWS what I'm feeling right now and I need HUGS.

Amy October 15, 2017 at 6:02 PM

Five stars. Definitely. There were typos and errors in switching from past to present tense and IT DIDN’T EVEN MATTER. I wasn’t even annoyed. It was that good.

I’m too raw to read Maryse’s review yet. Soon…but not right now. Not. Right. Now.

bev October 15, 2017 at 6:20 PM

Throw cold blood on her.

Amy October 15, 2017 at 6:30 PM

OMG ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! :P

Tessa October 15, 2017 at 7:09 PM

Is that why the phlebotomist never takes blood from my inner arm? They always go for weird inner forearm spots instead. :/

Bev, I thought so on that book. That’s why I ran the other way. Lol I can handle dark, but not slash or gore.

Maryse October 15, 2017 at 7:30 PM

*dies of horror from bevs comment*

*hugs Amy real quick and understands… Marmyness*

*faints again*

bev October 15, 2017 at 7:37 PM

Tessa, I know. That is usually me. I never watch those movies….except did see the first scream. But seriously big wuss. But I liked her previous books, one I found to be really swoony. I also just wanted to shake it up. I plan on no spoilers and not to read the end. So i will basically be reading through my fingers. Crossed fingers that it is good.
Hey,didn’t you read the Pike books?

bev October 15, 2017 at 7:38 PM

I feel like Maryse is in a B horror movie. Fainting and dying all over the place. You know she is running by herself into the basement next.

Nay October 15, 2017 at 7:42 PM

OMG! The craziness in here today!

Leslie–Have you figured out yet that Outlander is a f%$king RERUN tonight?! I am SO mad!!!

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 7:57 PM

Ya Nay WTH!!! Gerrrrr I need my Jamie STAT

Nay October 15, 2017 at 8:02 PM

OMG–the Outlander ‘people’ said that they decided to show a marathon to let people get ‘caught up’. What a load of crap! There have only been 5 episodes! GAH!!

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 8:12 PM

Yup I hear ya! Renee and I just finished cursing them out on GR

Kooloo October 15, 2017 at 8:18 PM

Can’t wait until work tomorrow so I can stab some people with Flu Shots that should make feel a bit better about not seeing the epi of Jamie!!!!
Who ever decided to let pharmacists give vaccinations was pure genius.
*insert vindictive laugh here*

Leslie M October 15, 2017 at 8:29 PM

Can you not hear my cussing from across the country and Canadian border!

WTF Outlander?!?!?

Leslie M October 15, 2017 at 8:33 PM

Amy, my stomach dropped when you used the words “spurts” and “sprayed”.

I can take needles, but spurting and spraying blood??

*turns green and gags*

Nay October 15, 2017 at 8:39 PM

Anyone giving flu shots, please tell people to get it in the arm they can do without for a day or two because I got mine last week and it hurt like a MOFO for two days. I couldn’t even lift my arm the next morning.

Nay October 15, 2017 at 9:24 PM

Kooloo–Wait a minute. I just re-read your message. I AM Renee on GR! Bwahaha

It’s a loooong story, but I couldn’t be Renee here because Robin is R. Renee, and on GR, I’m Renee, so people sometimes think I’m Robin, but she actually *is* Robin on GR. Make sense?? lol

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 9:30 PM

I don’t think that was me. Is there a 3rd Renee? Nay, you wanna just be Thing 1 and I’ll be Thing 2 and then we’ll have a back up Thing 3?

Nay October 15, 2017 at 9:39 PM

No, no, no. I WAS me! lol What I was saying was is *I* was the one that was cursing the Outlander peeps with Kooloo on GR. Gah!!! Thing 1 and thing 2 might just work!

Nay October 15, 2017 at 9:39 PM

*IT was me (ugh, typing too fast)

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 9:40 PM

LOL!! Ok! I was like, dang I know I’m forgetful, but I don’t even watch Outlander!

Amy October 15, 2017 at 9:40 PM

Tessa, for donations we always try for the middle inner arm vein if someone has a good one. The outer and inner veins tend to have more valves and the flow isn’t as good, plus if the needle is right on a valve then it vibrates…which is actually pretty cool to feel but the person usually doesn’t think so. *snicker* Also, those outer and inner veins are a bit more painful and aren’t always big enough to support the needle and/or donation.

I’ve noticed phlebotomists who only do blood draws as opposed to donations are a little more timid with deeper veins in the inner arm (not always, but often enough) and tend to stick with the obvious superficial veins, even if that means in the lower arm. Ouch. :?

Amy October 15, 2017 at 9:42 PM

*giggle* I love when we have name confusion on here and GR. Like the whole bev/fake bev hilarity.

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 9:43 PM

poor fake bev!

Nay October 15, 2017 at 9:46 PM

poor fake Renee! Or is it *real* Renee?!

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 9:46 PM

I think it depends on the day!

Nay October 15, 2017 at 9:53 PM

No doubt! Good to see you out of your cave, Robin!!

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 9:56 PM

Thanks Nay!

I took a longgggg nap after that tragic Browns game, then went to the store and bought Hostess Cupcake ice cream and a case of Diet Coke! #upallnight

bev October 15, 2017 at 9:56 PM

And to add to the confusion no matter what name they use we always call them Nay and R. Lol.

bev October 15, 2017 at 9:58 PM

I like that the snowball one is basically marshmallow ice cream.

I have always had blood taken from the inside of my elbow. They always seem happy when they see my vein…it is scary, like Amy.

Nay October 15, 2017 at 10:06 PM

SO true, bev!

I’ve been wondering if the Hostess ice cream is good or not, but oooooh! I haven’t seen the snowball one! Would lurve that!

I always have my blood taken from the inside of my elbow too (and I’ve had lots and LOTS of blood taken!) NO lower arms or hands for me–no siree, Ouch is right!

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 10:07 PM

It’s not bad! It’s not Blue Bell though… :/

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 10:08 PM
Nay October 15, 2017 at 10:12 PM

Blue Bell is the absolute BEST! Too bad is $7.50/half gallon here. Their homemade vanilla is my absolute fave, and I’m not usually a big vanilla lover because I love chocolate so much. I’ve been eating the Mayfield chocolate moose tracks that has fudge filled chocolate cups instead of peanut butter–yum!!

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 10:14 PM

I’m with you on the Homemade Vanilla!! I also love their Banana Pudding, Dutch Chocolate and Rocky Road. Yumm!

Nay October 15, 2017 at 10:19 PM

I am crying, Robin! That is hilarious!!! What I want to know is what IS scaring these people so badly? They’re all at the exact same spot (you can tell by the wallpaper).

I need to try their banana pudding. Was just talking about that last week. I also love their Dutch Chocolate. I only like Rocky Road if it has soft marshmallows in it (like at Baskin Robbins), not the ribbon of marshmallow, because I spit out the almonds and it’s only worth it to me if it has the little soft individual marshmallows. BR Rocky Road is my fave all-time flavor.

R. Renee October 15, 2017 at 10:21 PM

I usually hate banana stuff because it tastes like fake banana, but this doesn’t to me at all. It’s been a while but I’m almost positive the RR has mini marshmallows in it.

Tessa October 15, 2017 at 10:35 PM

I can honestly say, they look at my arms, tell me I have awesome veins, then go for the forearms or wrist. *rolls eyes* I hate needles, but since I was a teen, they do it EVERY TIME because my parents had diabetes. (Currently borderline here). Oh, if you all have to give someone an IV, be nice. Don’t put it in their inner wrist. That hurts like a SOB.

I like Breyers Vanilla, cause it has vanilla beans. I’m not a big Blue Bell fan. Ironically, Smart and Final’s brand is one of the best ice cream textures I’ve ever had.

Nay October 15, 2017 at 10:37 PM

I looked it up and you’re right! Maybe our store just hasn’t had the RR. I’ll definitely check the next time I go.

bev October 15, 2017 at 10:40 PM

I don’t think I have had Blue Bell.
I really like Tillamook.

Jan October 16, 2017 at 1:44 AM

Home from work now and reading the comments while I sit chillaxing with my feet up. LMAO. Thanks for the laughs at the end of a long day. My hubs is doing the cooking tonight, as he often does, Steak with mushrooms, and eggplants (aubergines) on the side. I can smell the yummy savoury smells while I’m sitting here. Aaaaah. Maybe some cookies and cream icecream for later???? ;) ;) ;)

Leslie M October 16, 2017 at 4:22 AM

I don’t care that its 5.a.m., I want ice cream right now.

Jan October 16, 2017 at 4:47 AM

LOL Leslie

*slides Leslie a tub of cookies n cream icecream*

Leslie M October 16, 2017 at 5:04 AM

Mmmm…cookies & cream is my sons fave. I was thinking maybe coffee since it is early here. Hee hee

Seriously though, I LOVE ice cream so much that pretty much ANY brand and ANY flavor is good. Except low fat…pleh!

The homemade ice cream stands we have here that are open seasonally?? HEAVEN!!!

Nay October 16, 2017 at 5:33 AM

That’s so funny that you said that, Leslie. About 5 seconds after I woke up, I realized I didn’t eat my moose tracks ice cream last night and was thinking about getting a bowl!

And now, I want to fire up the grill for some reason. That sounds yummical, Jan!

Kooloo October 16, 2017 at 6:27 AM

Bahahahahah!!!! Robin OMG I sent those pics to my flu clinic team this morning and was like this is what we don’t our patients to act like when I start poking them… shitballs that was funny:)

Kooloo October 16, 2017 at 6:29 AM

Ummmm so hi Nay Nay who is really Renee *toes the dirt and looks up sheepishly*

Leslie M October 16, 2017 at 8:00 AM

New rule: Ice cream for breakfast! Why not, it’s got protein?

Tessa October 16, 2017 at 8:51 AM

Anyone who’s reading Laura Thalassa’s The Bargainer’s series, the prequel was released yesterday. I meant to tell you all, but I was so enthralled with it, I didn’t mention it. It’s the story of The Bargainer from pre-birth to the end of the second book.

Tessa October 16, 2017 at 4:17 PM

Bev, I did read Pike. I started with a calmer book, the Final Friends series. His were never gory do much as either mysteries or paranormal, though some of the paranormal did give me some major nightmares, especially his adult books.

Maryse October 16, 2017 at 8:25 PM

My mom used to feed me and my friends Root Beer floats for breakfast after sleepovers. And cold pizza. And we were… 11? :) Hee hee!
