FREE (temporarily):Β Tall, Dark & Lonely (Pyte Series) —> VAMPIRES (and humans)!! And considering how much I LOVED her “Neighbors from Hell” series, I’m very excited to start this one!
Again, do not just her books by the covers. Sure they look tame and nondescript on the outside but they are exciting and hilarious and steamy on the inside. And so far, two for two, I’ve connected 100% to the story and characters and she is definitely what I consider a HUGE find!
About the book:
When the mother that abandoned them years ago suddenly shows up and moves them to New Hampshire Madison has no choice but to go or lose her brother and sister. Shoving her dreams aside yet again Madison tries to make a life for her siblings only to realize that nothing is going the way it should. It’s really cold, her fifteen year old sister acts like a hooker in training, men act funny around her, her boss is a real jerk, she feels like an outsider, her best friend turns out to be a mouthy sixteen year old kid and the incredibly handsome guy renting the room adjoining hers not only hogs the bathroom, taking three showers a day and leaving her with cold water, but he also has a secret. A secret that she becomes a bit obsessed with and can’t let go no matter how many times she’s warned off.
Ohhhhh sounds like my cup of blood! TEA! Tea I mean!! *blush*
And when one of R.L.’s readers commented on her Facebook page asking:
“Just finished, ‘Tall, Dark and Lonely’. Completely fell for Chris. He better have his own book. Please tell me you have ideas for him. Where he’s older and legal?!”
R.L. responded with:
“Yes, Chris has his own book already. Without Regret, but I’m giving you fair warning that Chris has changed a bit.”
So here it is, for those wanting more, after this one, Chris’s book is already available–>: Without Regret (Sentinel Series)
Also for Nook Readers —>Tall, Dark & Lonely (Pyte Series) (free for now, here too!)
Whoops! Just found out I accidentally turned off the comments section of this post. But I just received an email from someone who just finished this book and loved it – YAY!!!

Hi Maryse!!
I’ve just read the two neighbor from hell books!! I wanted to ask if you’d (pretty please :)) do a reading order list for her books!! I can’t make head nor tail of her others and there appears to be charater crossovers in different series!! Goodreads is no help, a lot of her books don’t even have a description!
Thanks a bunch!!!!
Em
Hi Em! Great idea!!
You got it. This should be up shortly π
I Liked it a lot !!!! it was surprisingly good !!! i loved the story… there were only a few things that bothered me, like the “connection” .. i didn’t fall for them or bond with them. but the story line and the supporting characters is what kept me going. I felt like explanations were left out.. things that would have helped me love the main characters more. but i still liked n felt for them.. just not as strongly as i think i could have. but either way i was happy, rooting for my peeps ! I’m excited for the next one ! π
Good to know, Krystal!
ookkkaayy ..so i just saw, that Chris’s book is out .. and I’m TOTALLy worried about his “change” cuz i looooovvveeeedddd hiiiimmmm ! lol .. and thank goodness he is gonna be legal now !! so i can really like him.. lol
Yes… I hear his “change” is disconcerting…
