“…Slowly, I begin to work my way in and when I find out she has a son that means more to her than life itself, I want so much more than I ever could’ve f**king imagined.
I want to take care of them and show Eden what it’s like to be safe and protected.
I’m making her mine and nothing is going to stand in my way… not even him…”
HAPPY FRIDAY 😀 & HAPPY FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!! It’s gonna be a GREAT reading weekend for me’ cause, okay right off the bat, this list has TWO of the three highest books on my current TBR list and I’m back to panicking again ’cause I’m too excited and want to read them all at the same time. Which ones, exactly? EASY!!!!
Riven by Lissa Del (psych thriller and I had NO idea this is one of my favorite authors… she switched up her pen name on me!!), Way Down Deep (two of my favorite authors teamed up and I am still getting awesome feedback on this!!) and of course, one of my book-twin’s HIGHLY recommended favorites that I HAVE started and am reading as we speak: The Female of the Species.
LET’S READ!!! 😀 !!!!
Take a look at what else we found for the weekend!!
- Bad Penny by Staci Hart <— STACI HART’S LATEST IS LIVE!!! And it’s super bargain priced! She won’t let her heart go but then she meets him… (and it’s the last part of this blurb snippet that made me go oooooooooooh!!!) 😉 “Resistance is something I can only hang on to for so long, and he has persistence in spades. But my heart isn’t as safe as I want to believe, and neither is his. And the second I ignore my cardinal rule is the second I stand to lose him forever.”
The Last Guy by Ilsa Madden-Mills & Tia Louise <— NEW RELEASE!! OFFICE ROMANCE/EX-SPORTS STAR?? YES PLEASE! And it’s super-bargain priced right now! “The first rule of office romance is don’t do it–especially if your dream is to hold the anchor spot on the nightly news and your boss is trying to get you fired. But one look at Cade Hill, the sexy new sports director, and uptight reporter Rebecca Fieldstone is daydreaming about other things…“
Nicole: I finished it this morning! Loved it!
- The Alphas: Four First Loves by C.D. Reiss <—- C.D. REISS ALERT!! SERIES BUNDLE FREEBIE (for now)!!! “Meet these powerful, passionate, possessive men in this exclusive, limited time bundle from NY Times bestselling author, CD Reiss. Four full length novels will have you begging for more.” Submission, Spin, Kick & Hardball!!!
- Forbidden Bite by Cynthia Eden <— JUST WENT LIVE!!!
The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O.: A Novel by <— RECENT RELEASE that Jan is excited about and reading as we speak!
Jan: Starting a brand new sci-fi today co-authored by one of my fav authors Neal Stephenson. It’s called The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. Magic is REAL!!! I’m excited! It’s Thursday already here so I’m going out on an (early) limb and doing my FLT. No, dammit. The first line on its own is pretty lame. You need the whole first paragraph:My name is Melisande Stokes and this is my story. I am writing in July 1851 (Common Era, or – let’s face it – Anno Domini) in the guest chamber of a middle-class home in Kensington, London, England. But I am not a native of this place or time. In fact, I am quite f*cking desperate to get out of here.
I dare you to read the blurb and tell me you don’t want to read this book! I’ve only read 2% of the book and I’m totally IN!
- Wolf Line: Northern Lights Edition (Granite Lake Wolves Book 5) by Vivian Arend <— JUST WENT LIVE!!!
- Vigilante by Jessica Gadziala <— JUST WENT LIVE!!! “One more scumbag off the streets. One more righting of a wrong. That was all my life was about. Until I came across her…“
Way Down Deep by Cara McKenna & Charlotte Stein <— Back on the list again ’cause I got even MORE info on this one and it’s awesome-sounding-ness (and because two of my favorite authors co-wrote it and I’m dying to read this):
Jennifer: Omgosh! Girl….I emailed Cara. BEGGING for more. Lol I read so much smut (truth) that this was just such a change of pace for me. I literally gorged myself on every word…’twas truly one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read.
- Captive Vow by Alta Hensley <— LIVE!!! EEEEEEP!!!! DARK ROMANCE ALERT!! She’s taken captive and made to be his wife… “I am caught in the madness of a deep obsession. Stolen away to become his perfect and dutiful wife. Trapped in a twisted and dark courtship. Forced and trained in the wifely duties of an obedient bride. I am his. Captive ever after…”
- Dear Aaron by Mariana Zapata <— MARIANA ZAPATA SUPER-SLOW BURN ALERT! Back on the list ’cause Kristy is in LOVE with this book!
Kristy: I’ve been glued to my phone reading Dear Aaron for hours. Nobody. Nobody does slow burn like Mariana Zapata. I’m only at 57% and already mourning the fact that this book will eventually end. She has become one of my absolute favorites.
Riven by Lissa Del <— ROMANCE PSYCH THRILLER ALERT!!! OKAY I HAVE A SECRET!!!! I THINK I CAN TELL IT… I *think* 😉 THIS RECENT RELEASE that I featured because it sounds so good in a past new release post? I just found out it’s from one of my favorite authors (she switched up her pen name somewhat on this one). Remember my beloved book Rainfall by Melissa Delaport? This is her latest!!!
GASP!!!!! She falls HEAD OVER HEELS for him but someone warns her to walk AWAY!!! “…When Sarah meets Leo Russell, an unlikely undergraduate, the attraction is instantaneous and all her best-laid plans begin to unravel. For the first time in her life, Sarah considers the fact that there may be one thing more important to her than her ambition. As her feelings for Leo grow stronger, however, so does her suspicion that all is not as it appears with the man she is falling for...”
Endgame: An Ocean Bay standalone novel by <— HER MOTHER MARRIED HIS FATHER & HIS SON HATES HER ALERT!! “...my mother went and did the unthinkable! She only went and got herself knocked up by a man who lives on the other side of the country! Worse than getting pregnant, mom married the douche.
As if it wasn’t bad enough to uproot my entire life six weeks before senior year, Mom’s new husband, Gabe Owens, comes with baggage. A sweet stepsister, Amelia. And the b*stard of all b*stards, Rourke. Rourke is my age and doesn’t want me in his town, much less his home. He’s also hell bent on making sure I know it...” Kelli has feedback!!! 😀
Kelli: Hey guys just wanted to recommend a book I just finished, Endgame by Chloe Walsh. I couldn’t put it down. It has a YA/NA feel, the characters are in High School. Love/Hate story that I know Maryse likes lol. Seemed a little cheesy at times, maybe a little over the top
Tessa: It was? That’s one that was on my radar. Maybe that will get me past my slump. That type of Stepbrother is the type I like. No real relations and it doesn’t feel forbidden because they just met, a major jerk, and has to start a new school. *grins* Thanks Kelli!
Torrid by Nikki Sloane <— MAFIA ROMANCE ALERT!!! Pia found us this one! “…I pretend to be his pawn. I do as he says and move where he tells me, letting him think he’s in control as I position myself for revenge. Every turn brings us closer. His grin doesn’t seem as evil when we’re alone. Behind closed doors, I welcome his unrelenting and vicious personality. He’s confessed all his secrets, but I’m holding one back and it’s a game changer. If I survive the board, this pawn turns into a queen...”
Pia: I’m a huge fan of Nikki Sloane and she released a new book yesterday – Torrid. Awesome cover and nothing but 5* reviews so far
- Camouflage (Predator and Prey Book 1) by Kate Stewart <— LATEST BY KATE STEWART IS LIVE ALERT!!! “...He wanted me submissive. I wanted to know him. But then my ghost met my skeletons...”
The First Taste: (A Single Dad Standalone Romance) by Jessica Hawkins <— JESSICA HAWKINS ALERT! The SINGLE DAD & THE BITTERLY DIVORCED WOMAN ALERT!! P.S. It’s a freebie today! “…The inked, rough-around-the-edges bad boy left his reckless ways behind six years ago when his daughter Bell was born. When Bell’s mother walked out of their lives, Andrew vowed never to let another woman close enough to hurt them again…“
- The Man I Love (The Fish Tales Book 1) by Suanne Laqueur <— SUANNE LAQUEUR ALERT!! THIS IS ONE IF MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BOOKS & SERIES AND… FREEBIE ALERT!! Not on Amazon, but LOOKIT WHAT R. Found us!!!
R.: Maryse! Suanne’s giving away The Man I Love for FREE on bookfunnel. Just saw it on her FB page. https://dl.bookfunnel.com/7gogqw8l6u
- Playoff Beard (Shots On Goal Standalone Series Book 5) by Kristen Hope Mazzola <— LIVE!!! HOCKEY PLAYER ALERT!!!
AUDIOBOOK LVERS
For those going on a road trip soon, or maybe you’ve got some projects that require both hands this weekend but still allows you to “listen”… check out the free audible trial + 2 free audiobooks deal —>
- AND! Here’s the fun-tool again! —> Find out which of YOUR Kindle books are available as audiobooks at a BARGAIN-PRICE! <—
This thing is so cool (Amazon calls it “Matchmaker“)! It’s an Amazon feature, that scans all of your Kindle books and will list all of the ones you have that are also available as an audiobook at a discounted price (not normal audiobook prices). This way, you can switch back and forth, seamlessly between your ebooks and your audiobooks. VERY COOL!
Relentless by Karen Lynch <— Christine recommends this whole series!
Christie: If anyone likes YA/NA supernatural reads, I have really enjoyed The Relentless Series by Karen Lynch. It has a mixture of all my fav things Fae, Vampires, Werewolves, etc. Typically YA/NA isn’t my first go to but I became a fan of YA/NA when I listened to Kresley Cole’s The Arcana Chronicles.I highly recommend Audible by Amazon. I am an avid listener. I have a long commute to & from work every day and I also listen while I do housework. The matchmaker works perfectly for me, I can listen while I am up moving then switch to reading when I can settle down and relax. LOVE IT!!

LOL!!!!!!! 😛
TGIF EVERYONE *throws confetti in the air*
Well alrighty then – Riven and Way Down Deep are now MINE!! Great list!
Yes, Ela. I’m feeling this Friday. Whoot whoot.
I just don’t know when this became Friday…
At midnight.
😛
Riven…YES!!!! You want me to wait for you on that one, Maryse? ‘Cause that has BR written all over it. And I’m not going to do anything to detract you from Female Species right now. 😉
Who else is in for Riven???
Me for a Riven BR…but we are gonna book read On The Island starting Monday…so if you are starting soon, I’ll have to bow out (and cry a lot!!!)
I am so in for Riven!!!!!!!!
End Game was good. It got me out of my funk. It would have been WAY better if it wasn’t dual POV. Oh, for those who care, quite a few typos and grammar issues. It just needs a proofreader to go through and fix things.
Someone, probably MichelleS, recommended Through the Veil by Colleen Halverson. It’s super good so far and I want to punch a few people in the nose.
Riven is by the same author as Rainfall?!?!?!? OMG….I need it, I want it, and I want to BR with you guys!!
I’ve had an ARC of Way Down Deep for a while….guess I need to move that up on my list!
I might be up for Riven…or at least start it at the same time LOL. It’s present tense woo hoo!
*does victory dance* I won a Goodreads giveaway! This book! https://www.amazon.com/Fifth-Ward-First-Watch-ebook/dp/B01M7ZWV92/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1497643048&sr=1-2 YEAH!
I just found another gem-sounding book. I don’t recall seeing it on any lists:
https://www.amazon.com/Captive-Vow-Alta-Hensley-ebook/dp/B0721NBZBN/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1497643130&sr=1-1&keywords=Captive+Vow
Yay Tessa!!!!
That’s awesome Tessa!
Congrats Tessa!
Started a spoiler on GR
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/18672875-riven-by-lissa-del-br-start-6-17-spoilers
That’s great Tessa!! CONGRATS!!!
Yay for the Riven BR! 😀 Except for Lisa, but she gets to read OTI for the first time so I’m jealous…
Hey I PUT A LINK TO KATNIP UP THERE AND NOBODY IS SQUEELING???
Ela…sweetie…Maryse has it listed up there.
*points up to list*
I already squeed and clicked earlier. 😉
Well then um ooopsie….my bad!
I want to… Must resist the power of the one click haha! Hi all!
Lara Adrian just posted 100 Reasons will be out July 31
*hugs Tessa*
YAY YOU MY FRIEND!!!! 😀
*giggles with Amy*
😛 Ela! 😉
Congratulations, Tessa!
*hugs Maryse back* Yeah hugs!!
Thank you everyone. 😀 I was too excited to not share the news.
Finished Dear Aaron….just got to say LOVED it! But then again, I love all of M.Zapata’s books. Queen of the slow burn!!!
God-Shaped Hole is on sale for 2.99, normally 7.99!!!! 😀
As eye catching as the new cover is, I still like the old one because of the significance…
Just finished Dear Aaron. Gosh, but the woman can write! I felt their story unfold in such little bites, that if I didn’t pay attention I might have miss it – LOL.
I really wanted more at the end, but that’s a good thing – right? Another great story from this exceptional author. I never would have found her books if not for this blog so thanks Maryse?
P.S. I have read all of Mariana’s books except The Wall of Winnipeg”. I am saving it for when I have some uninterrupted time!
I’d be curious to know what books or series everyone is saving for ‘ the right time’ ?
OH AMY GOOOOOOOD FIND!!! YAY!! I’m going to post it. 😀
Northernstar, I do sometimes wait. I still haven’t read the last Others books.
I love when you luck into the right book at the right time. The last one was Wolfsong. I promised Fabi it would be my first book of the new year. It just so happened that we got over 2 feet of snow that week. I lost power a couple times so kept kindle plugged in. When lights flickered I make a large french press of hot coffee. Just cuddled up under my blankets and read. Well, sometimes id go for a walk first, snow to my knees in some places and magical.Perfect book for that kind of weather.
Starting or re – starting Leslie’s Buddy challenge aka my summer reading list. 🙂 Restarting in that I have to choose a new book for Tasha….hers having been Thoughtless. So, that one is now The Language of Flowers.
Tessa I chose Fear Me for you, but wondering if I should choose another as it was a gbl from before.
Anyway starting with Jan: Fearless.
Then onto Rush (R) and Low (Maryse).
Whoot whoot!
To Tell the Truth I can’t wait to read one of Maryse’s favorites from last year.
Side note: The Glass Castle is adapted to a movie. I know it is a memoir but honestly think many on here would like it. I remember it being a great book. Just think about it before the movie comes out. Sounds good but books usually pack more of the punch.
It reads fast and like a novel.
Oooooh LOW!! That one was unique!
Okay UPDATE!!!!!!
I AM LOVING “The Female of the Species”. It is so witty, and so well written, with such eloquent descriptions and just AWESOME. It’s about a group of seniors that become friends in their last year, and one of them (one of the girls) is a vigilante sociopathic type… kind of like Dexter. BUT NOBODY KNOWS…
She always keeps her cool, but can whip some butt, when she needs to. But the writing is absolutely incredible. They are SO REAL.
bev if you haven’t read this yet, this one is TOTALLY for you. And it’s for everyone,of course, I can’t imagine anyone not loving it, but I know bev has a specific reading style (and story type) and I KNOW she’d love this. Amy chose this for me, but maybe bev got Amy to read it. I’ll have to backtrack through the comments on this one…
Fear Me is a somewhat dark book. I love it, but Keiran is physically abusive at a certain point. I don’t want you going in and not knowing how horrible he really is. That said, I love it. lol He’s a big jerk bully, the worst of the worst.
Alright, I’m going to finish the book I started then I will get lost
ugh, hit the submit button.
I will get lost in Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare. I absolutely loved the first book, so I’m anxious for this book. 😀
Just got God Shaped Hole
Thank you Amy and Maryse (I think)….. I’m scared!
YAY JEAN!!!!! 😀
No, I haven’t read it. It was on my radar because of all the great buzz but I read a huge spoiler. Haven’t decided if I still want to read it or not.
So. Fearless. Around 18% and I just don’t know. So I skimmed ahead and eh. I just find Ava meh and unlikable. She reminds me a little bit of Kiera. She just reacts no seeming agency. And I’m not sure what Mercy is supposed to be. Good ol boy or lethal crocodile wrestler.
BUT I have the second book which sounds interesting and hopefully better? So not sure if should keep on or skip to that one.
Oh, and ghost and Maggie a re horrible. The letter of recommendation? WTH. Then Ava all I’m so mad but I’ll just float around doing nothing about it. But no mistake I’m not a preppy I’m badass.
OMG I hate spoilers! I keep seeing people freaking out at the same place in When Life Happened and I’m like, THAT’S A SPOILER! I wonder if I can turn my *percentage read* off for that book so I’m not expecting it?? Whatever “it” is…
Well….In the spoilers defense I did click on the spoiler tag. 🙂
Bahahahaha! Totally your bad!
I read Lover by Marni Mann and Gia Riley….oh my goodness SO SO good!!! It totally sucked me in! I recommended it to a friend of mine and she said she couldn’t put it down. It’s different, but just what I needed to get me out of the ‘eh’ mood I’d been in. Now, I’m currently in the middle of listening to Hothouse Flower by Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie and I’m loving that too.
I am SO THRILLED you are loving it, Maryse!!! *happy dance* Where are you at in it?
I was blown away by how, for me, the writing was so brilliant that I was able to FEEL the emotions of all three of the POVs. Especially once a certain incident happened. Let’s just say…smoke. Holy moly, my heart ached for two of them because I could totally see things from both of their perspectives.
I loved Alex because she was such a mess…a bada$$ but not with an I’m-a-bada$$ attitude, and she just didn’t know what to do with the darkness inside her. My heart just ached for her. And Peekay and Jack…oh, my heart. I felt all of their emotions as well.
Oh bev…you SO brought that on yourself. *snort* But yeah, if it’s spoiled for you then it might affect your reading experience of the story.
For those of you who hate slut shaming in books, you would love Alex. This snippet: “You shouldn’t be that way about her,” Alex says. “I hear what people say and I bet half of it isn’t even true. And even if it is—fine. She’s no different from you and me; she wants to have sex. So let her.”
I didn’t want to agree with her because I hated the character she was talking about, but DAMMIT…she wasn’t wrong in saying that. 😕
Last post and then I have some chores to do…Kristen Ashley’s Sweet Dreams, Lady Luck, and The Gamble are all on sale!!
JEAN! Don’t be scared. We’re here for you with Manny, the blankie fort, and all the mixings for some strong martinis. 😉
I’m going to say it. I’m liking Emma Chase’s Royally Screwed. So far, I’m only 68%, but I’m liking it.
How is everyone this Sunday?
I’m good. Just finished my awesome book! Now I’m going to write a review. 😀
How ’bout you guys?
Just finished The Last guy. It was cute and entertaining but not a great read and no tummy-twisting angst. Now to finish hubby’s Father’s Day dinner then I’m hiding out back and reading!! 😉
Just finished Riven and WTF WAS THAT ENDING? Leslie this book is not for you!
OMG!!! Sounds like it’s for ME!!!! :D!!!!! 😛
I just read all day…..and now need some fresh air. Though it is hot and I do not like being hot.
And yet I already debating my next read.
Just got back from a bar by boat so I’m GOOD!
Ela, now I’m scared….only at 20%! Just you saying its not for Leslie ….sh!t!
I’m still trying to steady my ❤️ heart
You finished it Maryse?? Woo-hoo!!!! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. 😀
ELA!! I’M SHOUTING IN CAPS SO YOU’LL HEAR ME…DON’T SAY TOO MUCH SO NOTHING IS GIVEN AWAY WITH RIVEN, M’KAY?!?!? I WANT TO BE BLINDSIDED!!!
Bar by boat…I’m jealous, Jean. 😉 So is bev because she doesn’t like being hot.
So, Riven is next for me. After Tampa. You know, the vagina book? It is about 26 kinds of f*cked up.
F*cked. Up.
And yet I’m addicted is the most uncomfortable way. 😕
I may have met my match with a book that’s almost too Marmy for me.
Yeah…pigs flying, hell freezing, all that.
Raise your hand if you think Jean’s, “I’m GOOD” is her lady like way of saying I’m drunk reading?
A boat sounds perfect. Though alcohol +water+sun÷ by my skin= blistered bev.
*squirts SPF75 all over bev*
Thank you.
Does everyone have their next read lined up?
I think mine will be Riven… or Something in the Way.
Awww bev I’m sorry you’re not loving Fearless. The characters are beautifully complicated people and that’s part of what I love about those books. They are flawed, just like all of us. It did take me a while to warm to some of them. As the big, big plot unfolds and past secrets are revealed, it tells you a lot more about them and what motivates them.
If you’re going to try a different one, I’d skip book 2 and go to The Skeleton King. I love Emmy and Walsh. Or go straight to my fav, Tastes Like Candy. 😀
It’s possible this world just isn’t for you, but I love that you’re giving it a try. (I haven’t read *simon* yet…..)
Bev, am I the Tasha with the Thoughtless/Language of Flowers book? If so, I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about…lol
I’m doing good. Right now, just relaxing. I just finished Royally Screwed. It was exactly what I needed. Did I expect realistic? Of course not! I just wanted light fun to cleanse my pallette before reading Lord of Shadows. So, that’s next. 😀 699 pages! *squees*
Oh, Everything for Her by Alexa Riley is 99 cents right now.
Today was all about the dads…went to texas roadhouse with my son, hub, and dad. Managed to get a little reading in. I’m reading Real Dirty duet by Meghan March and loving it.
R, I think I may have warned you that you should read When Life Happened soon otherwise you will most likely get a spoiler.
Ashley, I ADORE the Addicted/Callaway Sisters series. I wish I could bleach my memory and read again for first time.
Ela, thanks for having my back! 😉
Amy, the vag book looks like its Marmy × infinity! Good luck!!
Jan, I am disappointed that I didn’t love it, I really thought I would. But I bought it in September of 2015 so good to have it off my tbr. I am thinking of the 2nd because it is the other one I own.
So I read up to 20% then skimmed through.
For whatever reason I took an almost instant dislike to Ava, Ghost, and Maggie. Mercy left no impression, in fact I kept wanting to call Ava Mercy.
No one should be turned off by my opinion. The ladies on here who read it loved it.
I still don’t know what happens but I do know something big happens at 40%. I need to see if I can turn off my percentage!
Yes, you are the Tasha, lol.
Leslie created a Buddy Challenge where she picked favorite books of her GR friends to read.
Some of us made similar lists. I chose books I already owned.
So, for Amy I will read The Boy Next Door, for Jan I tried Fearless, Maryse is Low and etc.
For you I chose Thoughtless but combined it with the tbr theme challenge. I hated Thoughtless.
Give me a moment.
Ok, I could not let that be my pick for a Tasha book. So I just added The Flower book instead.
I am so grouchy and I had to change my verizon email and that did not go smoothly, so I’ve just resigned myself to saying F*ck every other word right now.
Of course, I don’t have a next read picked out either. On a positive note, my son is home from college and just made a run to McDonald’s and got me a hot fudge sundae. Here’s hoping it helps my ugly mood!!
bev if it’s Price of Angels I think there is some fairly confronting content in that one. Just sayin’.
I’m reading a massive book (The Rise and Fall of DODO) and it’s taking ages to read! My next book might be Silver Silence. It’s had some decent reviews so I might give it a try. I liked the early psy-changeling books. Otherwise it’ll be the next HR in the Maiden Lane series, Darling Beast.
Aw Cheryl…if it’s any consolation, I would be cracking up like a stupid loon every time you said it if I was near you. At least I can hook you up with this:
https://www.alcoholicdrinks.net/Alcoholic-Drinks-q.htm/1900FUKMEUP-Drink-Recipe-735.htm
*slides a shot of that drink over to Cheryl*
bev…is your pick of mine The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window or My Life Next Door? Either way, I liked both of them. 😉
Whoah Amy. I wonder what that would taste like?
*idly watches Cheryl slide off her chair after one sip of 1900FUKMEUP*
F$ck, lol. It’s My f$cking Life Next Door.
Sorry Maryse….But f$cking solidarity sister.
Jan, right? *snickers*
Okay, if any of you can’t admit to most of these then I’m afraid we may not be able to be friends anymore. Because I can admit to at least 20 of them.
https://www.buzzfeed.com/bibibarud/admit-it?utm_term=.npE73vBdd#.ttJB5Y0oo
Maryse’s review is up.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
OMG BEV!! You just made my f*cking day!!!!
With your f$cking comment, that is. Not about the review.
Although I’m pretty excited about that, too. 😉
F*cking thanks for the f*cking solidarity Bev!!! LOL!!
F*ck Amy after that drink I don’t even remember what I as grouchy about!!
You are f$cking welcome.
LMF*ckingAO!!!!!
Maryse is going to f*cking ban us.
You guys are naughty tonight!
The f$ck you say.
Maryse swears like a f$cking sailor.
F*ck right she does.
Then says do as I say, not as I do. Y’all are f*cking banned.
And she’s going to look like your f*cking monkey when she pops in and sees all this. *giggle*
beep beep the beep beep solidarity with beep cheryl
Amy that bad habits link totally grossed me out, but was still strangely fascinating. Would i admit to any of those? Of COURSE NOT! *winks*
I love all the swearing but not really swearing. Hee hee
We say “A-dollar sign-dollar sign-hole” all the time at my house. Its how my son can get away with cussing. 😉
May I add – Riven…yeah, total Melissa Delport hand your heart to you book. Marmies…you will adore this!!!
…..I’m so tired today…..
Bev, no drunk reading for me last night, more like passing out and then driving home really late.
All of your posts from last night cracked me up! You guys are in trouble! Lol! Maryse, I am the innocent one….. no involvement at all!
*giggle* I can safely say, this time it wasn’t me! You girls are a hoot… I’m sad I missed the shenanigans!
Ah, gotcha. I did love Thoughtless back in the day, but I wouldn’t read it again now. I don’t want to ruin my first impression with it. The Language of Flowers, also loved. Two way, way different books. Lol. There were some things I didn’t like about Flowers too, but not enough to affect my love for the story as a whole.
Finally have a window for reading time, not sure if I’m too tired or not though. There’s also this mini fridge we requested in our room that has this super high pitched ring, that’s REALLY distracting right now. *sigh* My Little had dreams of the fire alarm going off all night…I know I should have said something right away, but it had already been such a pain of a day, I didn’t want the hassle. Now, though…
Huh, don’t know why that submitted twice
