It’s FREEBIE FRIDAY day!! AND!!! It’s FRIDAY!! What could be better? I have a bunch of goodies on here, and I noticed that my spur of the moment “midweek freebie/bargain” post is also still pretty accurate. So use ‘em both if you haven’t yet. :) Oh!! And Katie Ashley’s “The Proposal” has just been released. I know many of you were anxiously awaiting it, and it IS bargain priced, too.

NOTE: Free and bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.

Free and bargain e-books that you can read on your Kindle, or even on your computer with the Kindle software. (NOOK USERS: I’ve been told that often, many of these freebies and bargains are also available on the Nook).

  • The Proposal (The Proposition) by Katie Ashley <– just released today
  • The Proposition by Katie Ashley
  • Second Rate Chances by Holly Stephens <— just released today (thanks Tiffany!)
  • Eye of the Abductor by Elaine Meece <– Chrissy says: “Just finished Eye of the Abductor. It was a freebie a while back. It’s a suspense/romance and it was quite good.”
  • A Beautiful Lie (Playing with Fire, #1) by T.E. Sivec <– Twin says: “Ok, I just finished A beautiful Lie by T.E. Sivec (aka Tara Sivec author of Seduction and Snacks) and HOLY CRAP was it good! It is very different from the Chocolate Lovers books and is more suspense romance rather than funny romantic, but I could not put it down. It has a bit of everything and it was definitely a 5 star read for me. I really recommend this one ladies!”
  • Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines <— HUGE SUPER SALE for one of my absolute favorites!! (thanks Jules!)
  • This Blood: (The Grace Allen Series, Book 1 Paranormal Romance) by Alisha Basso –> Katie says: “ Just found out that This Curse, the follow up to This Blood is coming out on Thursday! Yippie! I loved the first book and have been waiting for the 2nd for what seems like ages. Here is the link to the first one.”

  • Contessa (Choisie) by Lori. L. Otto: Jennifer says: “Finally finished Contessa by Lori Otto. I loved this book and all the books attached to the Lost & Found series. The writer caused me to become so emotionally attached to these characters, feeling their joy and definitely their pain. Looking forward to the continuing story of Olivia.” (probably should only be read after the Emi Lost and Found series as I believe this is a spinoff of sorts).
  • Between The Sheets (Against The Wall) by Julie Prestsater –> Melissa says: “I just read Between the Sheets by Julie Prestsater and really enjoyed it. Its the 2nd book in the Against the Wall series. It was a fun & sexy read..Good chemistry with Mel and Ty and Shelly and Matt are back too..Just what I was looking for”

Thanks for the freebie recommendations Maryse. They’re great and you’re greater!! ;)

I read Scandalous by H.M. Ward last year and it is awesome!! The first half is pretty tame, but the second half is one of the most sensuous books I have ever read (mild erotica, but very beautifully sensuous). The storyline is excellent too. So like Nancy, I highly recommend it. :)

Also, I finished “Maybe, Baby” by Andrea Smith and am now reading the sequel “Baby Love”. Just wanted you to know I love them, and I recommend them to our reading buddies. Trey and Tylar’s love story is amazing and I feel like I personally know them. I am really connected and invested in their story. Andrea Smith is an indie writer and this is her first published books, so they are wonderfully detailed like only an indie can do. Kind of on the style of “Happy Hour”, “Love Unscripted”, and even a little hint of “Fifty Shades.” Lots of humor, suspense, mystery, (I did not cry) angst, and sexual chemistry. This is not a BDSM story, but Trey is very much a dominate, alpha male. The first book has a lot of erotica during the second half, when they finally start connecting. I’m about 45% through the 2nd book and so far, not so much erotica. But oooohhhh, the stories are so good. The first book is over 700 pages and the second one is probably over 400 pages, and Andrea has enough twist in them to make you feel like your reading more than 2 books. :) :)

found this book on amazon today and its free

Phoenix Rockstar

This book is erotica; it contains graphic sexual content and swearing – it is lusty, crazy, beautiful and in parts morally incorrect. It is one hell of a rollercoaster ride of love and heartache. It is action packed with drama, if this is not your thing, please don’t purchase it. It does end with a cliff hanger but I promise the next book will be HEA!! Please remember it is FICTION!!

Violet has been raised in a world with bikers, rough men and separated parents. The only savior in her world, was her love for Travis, her best friend. They grew up together, creating a hopeless friendship against all odds. Then he left, with no goodbye, no explanation.

Travis went on and became a successful rockstar, Violet moved on and thought she was finally over it. Then Travis returns and tugs on her heart strings all over again. She finds it hard to say no, she is different now…she isn’t the girl he once adored; dark things have happened to her. What if she isn’t what he believes he wants so badly?

Come on Travis and Violet’s journey of love, heartache and all the things in between(less)

Maryse, just wanted to drop a line and tell you that on your list of freebies today (fri 1/11) that Contract to Pleasure by Beverly Havlir is great,I just wrote a review of it on,its a short read but it was amazing for a novella, cannot wait for the next one. Also if you have never read Jasinda Wilder’s books, you are missing out,she has 4 series of stories but the 2 best ones 1.Big Girls do it better is the first and have has 4 followups and another is coming out later this month EXCELLENT read, her 2nd series which is started in the Big Girls series is Rock Stars and today she is releasing Rock Stars do it Dirty which is technically book 2 but is really book 3 because it got started in the other series,I know I didn’t word this very good, might be a little confusing, but If you get Jasinda’s first series Big Girls do it Better (it is in a boxed series now so its cheaper) you will follow what I have said above .Oh and do read Contract to Pleasure–steamy and great story too

Julie January 14, 2013 at 2:18 PM
