While I gear up for my next review (I’m almost done with Pleasure of a Dark Prince (Immortals After Dark, Book 7) – quick note: I’m liking it!), I think it’s time to catch up on what our favorite authors are up to.
- Terri Garey let’s us know her last signings this year will be in Orlando (RWA), and then she’ll be back to signing in 2011 when her new book comes out. She tweets:
“Big booksigning next week: Wed, July 28, 5:30-7:30p at the Walt Disney World® Dolphin Resort, Pacific Exhibit Hall, in Orlando, Florida!”
- Jill Myles is currently writing (oooohhh I hope it’s more of her Succubus series)
- Richelle Mead gives us her schedule for the upcoming Comic-Con
- Jaci Burton tweets: “I do a synopsis for a book, then never look at it again as I write the story”. I say…whatever works, right?
- Lauren Dane tweets: “Synopsis for holiday novella done and sent. Now back to As Is (Adrian’s book) and then to Gibson’s book.”
- Stacia Kane is writing and will be “killing someone” in the next 5000 words. She is also running a contest (name a character in Downside #4)
- Katie MacAlister divulges a bit of what seems to be a “spoiler” – so read this at your own risk: She tweets: “Hee hee hee. I did it. I managed to find a plausible reason to bring back Savian. Oh, how I can’t wait for his scene with Thala..” – sounds exciting!!
- Jenna Black is happy because her new book Shadowspell (Faeriewalker) will be released 1/4/2011 and is already available for pre-order at Amazon.
- Shiloh Walker gifts us with some free reads!! A Stroke of Dumb Luck & I Thought It Was You
- Rachel Vincent blogs and it includes “this week’s Countdown to Alpha extra! (Last week’s was the first chapter of Alpha!)
- Yasmine Galenorn is working on getting the final cover for Blood Wyne (Otherworld).
- Authors tweeting about heading to the RWA (and some heading to the San Diego Comic-Con): Rachel Caine, Terri Garey, Marjorie M Liu (who already saw Diana Rowland in the lobby), Allison Chase
More to follow as I find more cool tweets…

hihihi this is a nice page. Actually I’ve already used your “author’s contact info” and followed all of the author’s listed. But then you can’t always see all their important post right. So I appreciate your effort.
Thanks Maryse. You are definitely spoiling us so much. 🙂
Thank you! I love doing it because it let’s me know what’s about to be released, and you sometimes get some little hints about books to come, and of course, upcoming signings! LOVE those (when they’re in my area 😉 )
You are so lucky that you have opportunity to go on books signing or events. Last May I was dying to bid for Acheron’s jacket. Hope I could go to the event but it seems a 13,727.60 km distance (around that no. I think) requires quite an effort and lots of savings. But well I’m with him although out and who ever got it has helped not only his/ her fantasy but also the charity that will benefit from it.
I guess i just need to settle with Acheron dolls. BTW, do you have one?
