I’m deeply involved in book#2 of Terri Garey’s Nicki Styx series, and loving it. It’s a nice balance of comedy, sarcastic wit, and a bit of a thriller (I mean come on, the Devil himself is stalking her). And yup, there’s even a touch of romantic tension (Nicki’s struggling in this one…jealous much?)
So I’m thinking that this weekend will probably be more of the series (and of course some reviews), but like usual, today (aka not-too-stressful Friday) I will be actively scouring author tweets 😉read more
Ooooh it’s starting to feel like Fall here in Florida, and I am just full of energy today. I hope it lasts until tonight, cause I want to write a review for the latest book I read this week, Kerrelyn Spark’s “Eat Prey Love (Love at Stake)“. Now you all know I’m a big fan of her series, but do you even know how GOOD this book was? No? Well I’ll tell you soon 😉 No but really. I pretty much read it straight through. Couldn’t put it down. Thinking about that, I wonder if she’s on Twitter? I’d love to see what she’s up to, and what better place to get author updates then, Twitter, right?read more
Marta Acosta’s Haunted Honeymoon get’s a great review! Gorgeous cover! In fact, even if it’s not a hunky male, the image is just so pretty I’m making it my cover of the day!
Kathy Love’s –> Ok old tweet, but good info! Her next book, Truth or Demon will be out March 2011 – YAY (Amazon says Feb 22nd 2011)!! One of my absolute favorite authors – I love her style of writing. She makes paranormal romance feel real, modern (and possible)!
More to follow as I find more cool tweets…

TGIF!!! YAY!!! Wheeeeeee!!! *doing cartwheels* (really I am!) I have a whole weekend to play again (weekend #2 and no business travel in sight!)
So what have I been up to this week? I’ve been indulging myself in Highlanders (still), and will be reviewing one or two of them this weekend. They get more “paranormal” as they go, and not just time travel. The Highlanders themselves are pretty magical.
One thing I haven’t been doing is “tweeting” but since it’s Friday, I feel more mellow, so I’m going to play in the Twitter playground. Maybe I can find a nice favorite “cover of the day” for us to drool over 😉 Found it!! (there it is to the left, but scroll down for full size)…read more
