Fun Email That I Received That Portrays My Reaction to Goodreads “Fifty vs. Manny” Perfectly…

Apparently, I wasn’t the only one that raised an eyebrow at these results – I laughed out loud when I read this from fellow reader, Desmond:

“Manny the Main MAN v.s. Fifty the Fast Foot fighter

*Punch* *Punch* *Euuuuu blood* * Uppercut* *Block*

and the winner was….Manny

*records scratches* and the crowds looks to each other, and winces.

Manny?!?

You mean Manny Manny? Payne’s Manny? Dr. Manuel Manello? Butch’s possible half brother Manny? That Manny? He won Goodreads Choice Awards over Fifty?

Usually I love all things J.R. Ward (I even have the standard jail issued Cellie tattoo) but Manny? At the risk yet again to my Man card, he didnt do it for me. He was cool but not comeonman (excuse my southern drawl).

Fifty is literally 50 shades of F***ed up-ness (wait is that a word?) but he’s cooler than a polar bear’s toe nail way cooler than Manny. I guess second place aint bad but I wonder if we can request a recount.

P.S.- I’m super stoked for “Eden” by Jamie McGuire.
