I have my preorder, and am squeeeeeeeing with delight and rereading Into the Light in preparation today. I can hardly wait until midnight for it to load on my Kindle!!! And I also have 27 Truths on my Kindle and 27 Lies just loaded last night….wheeeeeeee!!! And darn it if all those books up there look like must haves also!!!

I got the scoop on Black Sean Affair. When the author was asked if it is a standalone, here is her response:
“Well…..yes. It was intended to be. I may write about another character in the book however in the future. We’ll see.”
I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a crazy cliffhanger and that we’d be waiting forever for sequels. I hate that.

Patchwhore was great and funny but ended too abruptly. Didn’t even know his name but definitely thought he was a keeper.
Behind Closed Doors: loved it.
A Pound Of Flesh: really enjoyed how well the characters were thought out. Will definitely read sequel.
The Tutor: interesting theme, enjoyable, pick up and put downable
I hate that I missed out all day yesterday–I’m celebrating having all of those horrid tests out of the way by starting Black Swan Affair NOW! That’s my kind of book! I’ll start the Amelia Hutchins Fae book after that–Playing with Monsters sounds awesome, but I have to finish Seducing Destiny first and for some reason, I’m having trouble getting through that book. Whatever! I’m one-clicking BSA!

So much reading, so little time. It’s a shame I was born beautiful instead of rich so I have to actually work….LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

I had the equivalent of a phillips screwdriver shoved into my carotid and all the way to my heart WITHOUT being asleep, sedated, etc. (My cardiologist said, “oh, it might be bit uncomfortable, but you’ll do fine without a sedative.” but, of course, he’s never had a right heart cath done!) Anyway, I have to take it easy today so that my neck doesn’t spring a geyser, so it’s the perfect excuse for me to do nothing but read!
Good lord, Nay! Did you tell him you can’t even read certain books without a sedative??!!
I know! I have to get six of these things done during the first 2 mos after my transplant and I told him to knock me out from now on! Geesh!

Hi Ela! I’m just glad it’s over now! The hospital doctors/admin are all having the ‘big meeting’ today to get me ‘on the list’ then after that, I could go at any time. So if I disappear out of nowhere for a week or two, you know that’s where I am and that I’ll be back!
I’m just going to try to get swept away in my books and with my book friends and not think about it too much because at this point, although I’m excited, I’m scared sh#%less! Thanks so much for all your kind words! It really does help!!

I’m about 53% into Black Swan Affair and loving it!! But I’m biting my nails wondering how this is going to end? Right now, this story has the potential to be predictable or completely mind-blowing!! I’m wondering where the author is going to take this story?! Oh the angst and anxiety!! I’d be done with it by now if my stinking job would quit getting in the way!!

Although I’m loving it too, I think BSA is going to be predictable. I’ve only been able to get to 20%, but I think I have it figured out. Still think it will be a good (and maybe even great) read; the things of life are just making it difficult for me to get into it, not the writing.

I’m at about 20%. The h’s best friend sums up what I’ve been thinking so far:

On 10/23 Lost Beauty (Deadly Beauties Live On, #3) by C.M. Owens comes out, it’s Chaz’s book which a lot of people have been waiting on, just thought I’d mention that.
