Blush for Me: A Fusion Novel by Kristen Proby is going live at midnight!!!! And I have a fun exclusive excerpt that is part of a fun week-long “Aphrodisiac Tour” that touches on all of the senses, and I have the sense of sight.
Oh yes, I think this is going to be fun, ’cause she meets him on a plane, clutching him in fear. Tee hee!!
Now first, let’s find out what the book is about:
New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby continues to delight the senses with the latest novel in her delectable Fusion series.
As the take-charge wine bar manager of Seduction, Portland’s hottest new restaurant, Katrina Meyers is the definition of no-nonsense, and she isn’t afraid of anything. Well, almost anything: she hates to fly. When she’s forced to travel on a death trap with wings, the turbulence from hell has her reaching for any safe haven—including the incredibly handsome guy sitting next to her.
Ryan “Mac” MacKenzie hasn’t been able to get his sexy seatmate out of his head. The way she clung to him stirred something inside him he didn’t think existed: tenderness. As the owner of a successful wine touring company, Mac thinks he’s got a handle on what life can throw at him and he’s not prepared for any surprises, especially in the feelings department. And when he brings a tour into Seduction, he sees the petite spitfire he just can’t forget.
Mac is determined to discover what else they have in common besides fine wine and the inability to keep their hands off each other. But what will it take for two stubborn people to realize that what they have is so much more than a hot chemistry between the sheets and to admit to falling in love…?
Ready for the excerpt? P.S. There’s a wine recommendation AND a note from the author herself:
A note from Kristen
“I think that when falling in love, the sexiest thing we can see is our crush. Especially when it comes as a surprise, and I’m not talking about naked photos, friends. Sending a fun, flirty selfie to your love is super sexy, and sure to put a smile on his/her face!”
EXCERPT:
I didn’t sleep at all last night. I tossed and turned for far too long, then decided f*ck it and paced the hotel room for a while. I couldn’t get her out of my head. Her sweet smile, her amazing red hair, her quirky sense of style.
I called myself fifty kinds of fool for walking away from her hotel room. She would have happily invited me in.
Maybe I’m losing it.
And now, there she is, across the room from me at the first vineyard tour of the day, sniffing a small glass of wine and smiling to the woman standing next to her. Her bright hair is twisted up into a style that would have been popular in the fifties. She’s wearing dramatic makeup, including red lipstick. Amazingly, it looks completely natural on her.
A fitted button-front dress, black with white skulls, and killer red heels show off her long legs. Legs that I wouldn’t mind having around my waist, as soon as possible.
No one but Kat could pull off that look. It’s sexy as f*ck.
She raises her eyes and catches my gaze and a slow smile slides across those sexy red lips.

Kat: I love the labels Menage a Trois makes! They’re fun, and let’s face it, when you see those words, it immediately brings sexy images to mind.
Mac: Hmm, I’ll remember that. *smirks* Whenever a customer asks me to recommend a sexy-looking bottle of wine, I usually immediately recommend the Fifty Shades of Grey wines. There’s a white and a red, and both bottles are truly beautiful.

I actually just finished reading (well, listening to) Listen to Me and I’m reading Close to You right now. The audios are great and I love the stories. 🙂
Oh great to know! I’ll add these to the audiobook list in a few days. *hug* Thank you Leslie!!
Maryse, I can look at my shelves and see what other audios I can recommend if you want?
Oh that would be AWESOME!!!
I’d love to do a weekly feature “reader recommendations” (or at least a monthly one) for audiobooks. 🙂
I simply adore audiobooks and rarely go a day without listening to one. They are such a great way to squeeze more reading time in AND keep me company during chores/driving.
Two of my stand by audios when I can’t figure out what to read are Twilight Series and Hunger Games series. These both have excellent narration and I’ve re-listened to them a gazillion times. However, it may seem a little weird at first if you are used to the movies. (since Kristen Stewart & Jennifer Lawrence are not narrators) But I promise you get used to “new” voice.
Maryse, in addition to recent audios I told you about, here are others I have enjoyed:
To Love Jason Thorn
Tapping the Billionaire
It Ends With Us
Offside
The Pact
The Offer
I didnt love this story as it was too slow burn for me, but narration was excellent: Wall of Winnipeg and Me
I just finished Roman and loved it. However, narration might be a little weird for some…when h did H’s voice it was different accent from when H spoke. It was noticeable to me, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment.
These also had great narration but story was a “like” rather than love:
Playboy Pilot
If You Stay
