HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Emma Chase for also hitting both the New York Times and the USA TODAY Best Sellers lists with her latest release Royally Screwed (The Royally Series Book 1)!!!
Look at THIS awesome brand spanking new “Star Wars” “burse” by Burses by Amy. It plays Star Wars MUSIC!!! I have yet to purchase one for myself, but I AM HOOKED on her “book-purse” creations and have purchased one recently for a fellow book lover. How clever, and fun, and what a perfect gift for a book lover (this “burse” creator has all sorts of ’em to choose from)!

Belle Aurora is a big ol’ tease!!! BUT THIS IS HUGE NEWS!!! It’s been a long time coming, but I think it’s finally “THE TIME” for “Dirty” ’cause… look what she just posted (in reference to her HUGE HIT “RAW“) <— Remember that one?? TWITCH! OF COURSE YOU DO! (p.s. here’s my review). She says:
“Anyone wanting to re-read Raw before the release of Dirty should do it now. #JustSaying” <— *gasp*!!!
And then we all lost our minds!
Kristen Ashley has a TWO-PART news announcement. First, ALL of her audiobooks for her Fantasyland series are LIVE!!! She says:
“I’ll begin with telling you that the rest of the Fantasyland books are out today in audio! So if you’ve been waiting, now you can download!”
AND SHE JUST REVEALED HER LATEST PROJECT!!!
“I’ve been mentioning here and there I’m writing a new book. And that new book is a stand-alone novel that I’m writing as an Audible exclusive!
It’s working title is COMPLICATED, I’m almost finished writing it and I ADORE IT. It’s about a small-town sheriff who finds himself divorced and not long after, he finds himself drawn to the local hair stylist who sings in a jazz club on weekends. Like REALLY drawn to her (because she’s pretty fraking fantastic). And if that isn’t enough to throw him for a loop, he and his deputies need to solve the first murder in their county in 52 years.
Now, as I’ve mentioned, this will be an audio-only book but don’t you worry if you’re not an audio listener (though, this would be a reason to check this format out)…this book will only be exclusive in audio for only six months. After that, we’ll be releasing it on eBook and in print…”
Jennifer L. Armentrout is working with a photographer to create more potential book-cover stock photos for authors looking to represent their “plus-sized/average sized” heroines. She posted:
“There is a demand for these photos, from both authors and readers. Not every character in every romance book is a size two (and by the way, there is nothing wrong with a size 2). Some are a size 22 (and by the way, there is nothing wrong with a size 22). Some are somewhere in-between….
…I’m friends with several photographers and models and a few weeks back I was ranting about this very issue on another social media page. One of the photographers jumped at the chance to shoot stock images of plus with and without male models to create a stock pile of images for authors to pick from. I’m currently in the process of working with Shauna Kruse, who will be scouting and shooting these images for stock, and I will be financing it. So if you’re an author, make sure you’re following Shauna, and hopefully over the next several months, images will become available.”
I am so sad to announce, one of our “original” indie authors, Alexa Grace, has lost her battle with cancer this month. She was a much-loved author, signing at Book Bash, and I remember, she had just gone into remission during our first Book Bash (and she had her wonderful daughter assisting her at the event). We were so thrilled for her. She was such a happy, and beautiful soul. RIP Alexa.

I didn’t know Lori L. Otto was coming out with a new one, and the blurb looks SO good!! I haven’t read any other books of hers since she ripped my heart out, BUT her writing is exceptional and I may just have to give this one a go! 😛
On another note, I’m so sorry to hear of Alexa Grace’s passing. I read Deadly Offerings back in 2013 when I was on a big romantic suspense kick and I really enjoyed it. My condolences to her family.
