In addition to the awesome Karen Marie Moning news from earlier this week, I found us some more tidbits and exciting goodies!!
- First and foremost, to appease my “rock star” needs, I received confirmation from Cherrie Lynn (author of “Rock Me” and creator of one of my favorite bad-boy book heroes) that she IS planning a rock star book! YAY! She stated on her Facebook page:
Cherrie Lynn: I’m also really excited about an idea for a rock star romance that recently came to me.
which in turn made me totally *squee* in her Facebook ear:
Maryse: Cherrie! You just made me *squee* about the possibility of a Rock Star book. You know I AM SO THERE!!!
and then she responded:
Cherrie Lynn: LOL, I know you are, Maryse! I think a rock star book from me was always inevitable, I just hadn’t hit upon the right approach yet. But now I think I’ve got it. I’m excited too! 😉
*Maryse doin’ the happy dance* Ohhhhhh please let this rock star be as hot (or hotter!) than Brian. I love all that bad-boy angst, and passion!!
- And in further “rock star book news” I’m not sure if I’ve already mentioned this, but Author Olivia Cunning – Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour) (who has finally just finished “Trey’s” book in her “Sinners on Tour” series by saying):
“So THAT’S how Trey’s book and the series ends. I honestly had no idea until I wrote it. Sometimes these things surprise me and come out of nowhere. No spoilers…”
also reminded us, on her Facebook with a steamy Man-Candy photo, that she will also be writing a new Rock Star series.
“Some inspiration for the rhythm guitarist of Perilous Edge (new series after I finish Sinners). His name is Adam Wright and I can’t wait to write about his naughty self.”
Keep the sexy, heartbreaking, bad-boy (and some not so bad) rock stars coming!
- Larissa Ione’s Facebook page has been updated, modernized and has all sorts of goodies for us to play with!
“As you guys can see, I have a new profile pic, and I also have a new booklist page, a new “find me on” page, a new videos page, and a new wallpapers page! (The wallpapers page might take a while to load…there’s a bunch of them!) There will soon be a Fan Zone Page too…just for you guys! I’ll let you know when it’s up — I plan to have a lot of fun with that one!”
- J.R. Ward announces an upcoming chat with Christine Feehan!!
“Christine Feehan in the HOUSE! Mark your calendars for Friday, Sept 16th at 8 pm EST for a chat with me and the great Christine Feehan” (chatroom)
she also reminds everyone that she’s got a signing SATURDAY!!
Cincy Signing this Saturday, September 10!
2:00 PM Barnes & Noble
7800 Montgomery Road
Cincinnati, OH 45236
513-794-9320
Hope to see you there!
annnnnd the news doesn’t end there. If you can’t get to her signing in person, she is also holding a “virtual signing” for the Hard Cover version of Dark Lover (Collector’s Edition): A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood!!
- Richelle Mead‘s latest Georgina book (Succubus Revealed) is a best seller!! She says:
“Georgina fans! You did it. Succubus Revealed made the USA Today bestseller list today – the first time for one of her books. Nice work, everyone! :)”
- Michelle Rowen needs help naming her book! Check out her Facebook post and suggest something 🙂
“I need title help please! The series title for my Sarah mystery series is at stake. Pun intended. 😉 It was “A Sarah Dearly Mystery,” then it was a “Sarah Dearly Vampire Mystery.” Too clunky. It needs to be catchy, memorable, not too complicated and get across that it’s “vampires,” it’s “light in tone,” and it’s “a mystery.” Any help — or anything that might spark something in my own brain — would be much appreciated! Thank you!”
- Kerrelyn Sparks is hosting a contest!! The prize package includes a signed coverflat of Sexiest Vampire Alive, bookmarks and other promotional goodies from Kerrelyn and other authors, plus a signed copy of the tenth book in the Love at Stake series, Vampire Mine!
- Sherrilyn Kenyon posted an excerpt of her upcoming “Born of Silence” but has also been squee’ing with joy over this news!! Chronicles of Nick will be made it movies!!!
“Amber Entertainment has signed a partnership with prolific paranormal novelist Sherrilyn Kenyon to develop and produce films, television and webisodes based on her books.
First project to be developed is “Chronicles of Nick,” based on the young adult series. In the first book, “Infinity,” 14-year-old Nick Gautier discovers that the football team has been turned into zombies, sets out to stop the attacks and learns he has a key role in an unseen world.”
- Lynsay Sands is writing! Buuttt… I get the impression that her “paranormals” have more to say to her right now… She posted this on her Facebook:
“On another note, Ian wasn’t cooperating at all so I have switched to a vamp for now while I consider starting a different Highland series altogether. That’s all from me.”
Wooo! That was a lot of big news!! Lots to look forward to. Now off I go to daydream about a signed copy of Dark Lover (one of my favorite books of all time)… the very one that introduced me to the “Brothers”.
Thanks for all the great news! Love, love, love your blog!
