BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! A new one was just released today that look right up our alley!! Saving Mercy by Nicole Tillman <— This super-bargain new release is calling me… big time. I always seem to fall for the love stories where the girl falls for the ghost.
Just check out this blurb and you’ll see what I mean…
“MERCY HUNTER was certain she had left the clairvoyant tendencies of her bloodline behind. However, when she arrives at her new apartment in blustery Chicago, she is shocked to find that the previous tenant, Ryan, has stayed behind.
Eventually, a unique friendship begins to blossom.
Ryan starts to think he’s been left behind to act as Mercy’s protector, but she doesn’t seem to be the kind of woman who wants to be protected.Meanwhile, Mercy is convinced it’s her job to help Ryan cross over, but as she grows to know him, she’s not entirely sure she’s selfless enough to let him go…”
I’m ready to squee over trying quite a few of these… below. My TBR list is bursting at the seams and yet I continue to add. 😉 But how can i not, when I see a book like this one: The King Trilogy (okay this isn’t a new one, but those recommendations HAVE me!! LIKE BARRONS?? YES PLEASE!!!) and Need Me (I love Tessa Bailey’s brand of steam, so this college-aged student-teacher romance sounds titillating!) and Diamonds (I love K.A. Linde, too – queen of throw-your-kindle angst!! And this heroine is only 17… yet HE doesn’t know that) *gasp!!!* and Things We Know by Heart (Kim & I love angst and feels, and she highly recommends this new release). Oh!! Of course, Do Not Disturb (but I need to read book #1 first, and since I LOVE Alessandra Torres, I can’t WAIT to get to these two!!) and Fracture (In a war-torn part of Sarajevo… she finds and saves and nurses him back to health, but now she’s stuck with him and he’s surly as heck. YES!!!)
AND OMG!!!!! The pre-orders list (below) is already super-squee-worthy (and I’m still adding to that, too). Quite a few on there that we are IN LOVE with… like… Beautiful Sacrifice: A Novel (Maddox Brothers Book 3) by Jamie McGuire – expected release date May 31st 2015
Also check out yesterday’s 10 more of the latest awesome sounding books (there were some early birds on there). 😉
AND a reminder: for those accessing my blog via their mobile device (phone or tablet) you’ll notice the look of it has changed (for now, that’s the “mobile compatible” version and I’m hoping we can get it close to the usual “look” while still keeping it “mobile friendly”). On a desktop computer/laptop the look of the blog is the usual one.
P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere).

- AND! Here’s the fun-tool again! —> Find out which of YOUR Kindle books are available as audiobooks at a BARGAIN-PRICE! <—
This thing is so cool (Amazon calls it “Matchmaker“)! It’s an Amazon feature, that scans your Kindle books and will list all of the ones you have that are also available as an audiobook at a discounted price (not normal audiobook prices). This way, you can switch back and forth, seamlessly between your ebooks and your audiobooks. VERY COOL!
In fact, MichelleS just used it and said:
MichellleS: Maryse – I just tried out the “Matchmaker” Amazon feature you mentioned. How cool is that? So many of my books are bargain priced. Even some that are still on my TBR. I can download the audio book and listen on the plane or on the beach, and not have to “read”. Yay for me. LOVE THAT. Thanks for finding all this cool stuff for us.
Maryse: I know!!! Audiobooks for ebook super-sale prices. I’m thrilled with that, and what’s fun is you can flip flop from reading it, to listening to it without losing your spot… 😀

Yes, there are cringe worthy moments when I’m holding my reader away from me and scrunching my eyes half closed, but they are an integral part of the story. There is a reason to them. They are not just there to shock the reader. It’s a real sci-fi romance with an h that doesn’t look wholly human. That’s unusual in this genre.“
- The Understatement of the Year (Ivy Years #3) (The Ivy Years) by Sarina Bowen <— AussieDonna recommends it! “I read Understatement of the Year and really enjoyed it. I then devoured most of the others in the series” (here is the The Ivy Years Series Reading Order)
Boxed Set: The King Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff <— Amy LOVED it:
Amy: I just finished reading the KING TRILOGY, to me it was one of the best stories I have ever read. It started out kind of slow in book one but once the story got going I could not put it down.. Too many times I was still up at 3 in the morning. I had to write the author Mimi Jean Pamfiloff to tell her how thoroughly I enjoyed her creative imagination. Her writing is something else. If any of you read it , I would love to hear what you thought…

daaaang, there’s a bunch on this list I want. I feel so greedy. lol
Elements of Chemistry, Heat is being released on 4/24. The book I want, though, is Never, Never 2. I want to know what happened!
Lol Fabi! Yeah, I look forward to this list almost as much as I dread it! I’ll never catch up…….
Fringe Benefits sounds good…
Is Never Never 2 coming out on 4/24 too?
Nope May 17. We have a whole month of waiting still.
Thank you Tessa!! I just added it. 😀
I love Monica Murphy’s One Week Girlfriend Series! The best!
Does anyone else scroll through their library….looking for something to read or even reread….& come across a book or two (or three) that you read a year or more ago that SHOULD have had a sequel but one never came out? Like Raising Ryann & Resisting Ryann….2 short books that I read about a year ago & were part of a trilogy that were supposed to be released within a couple months or weeks of each other but the 3rd book never came out. Or Love in Rewind that came out exactly a year ago…it should’ve had a 2nd book come out. Idk…just wondering if anyone else has this problem.
Sooo I finished voyager *takes a bow as that was a defeat* then read the travelling woman in like half a day! Must be reading all those long books has made me faster or cause it was so good sooooo advice time, I really want to continue outlander and get through them all but I find that at certain points in it I’m wanting it to just hurry along if u know what I mean so do I go onto the next one or read something light and sweet before the next? Helllllp
Lauren, there are a few. Kalayna Price is one who stopped, but it is due to personal trouble, so I get it. JS Cooper wrote a prince series which I loved so much, but she can’t figure out how it ends.
Worst, the worst, is LJ Smith. She write the Night world series, wrote 11 books, then her mom got cancer before number 12 was written. Totally get stopping for that. However, then Vampire Diaries became a TV show, and she started writing extra stories for that. She teased scenes for the last Night world book…
Then, she gets fired from writing the Vampire Diaries, because she won’t follow the TV show. So she writes it as fan fiction. The whole time, I’m still waining for that last book! Lol. At this point, its been 15 years. She could just say, boom, then they all died, the end, and I’d be happy. Just to finally end the darn thing!
Obviously, I need to read Aflame. I’ll be happier. 😛
Light and sweet? Have you read Boy Toy? Attraction, Elements of Chemistry (Series)? Any from the Neighbor from Hell series? Any from Racheal Van Dyke Bet series or Ilsa Madden Mills Briar Crest Academy series?
All but the Elements series can be standalones.
Love the neighbours from hell read them all but should I read something else or go straight to the next outlander?
Oh the mills briar crest academy one is free on Amazon UK right now!!!
Okay ladies, I finished On the Island.
*sigh* Be still my heart. I loved it so freaking much.
And now let the I-told-ya-so’s commence ’cause I deserve every one of them! 😉
Awww wasn’t that the sweetest story? I read it recently so I remember most of it. I thought it was super cool how she watched him grow up and become a man right in front of her eyes.
Yay Amy! So glad you loved it! Not gonna give you a hard time because I know there are tons of books that are great that I just haven’t gotten to yet….
Amy – super yay! we wanted you to share in our love for all that sweetness! no I-told-you-so’s here…. just a big ole’ smile that you got to enjoy it.
Laura – I say take a break. I can’t even imagine reading that series back to back. Oh good lord. They are all so dang long. Definitely keep reading, but takes breaks, would be my advice. BTW, the latest one (Written in My Own Hearts Blood) was one of the best of the bunch, so don’t give up when it gets tedious.
The Wild Side is on this list. I get to crush on Dair again. I loved that guy.
AMY!!!!! Is he NOT AWESOME???? *sigh*
AND THAT TWIST??? HOW CLEVER WAS SHE!!??? (the author to incorporate that…?)
Added some freebies and sales in the previous post fyi.
There’s a lot I want from this list…I haven’t read any of the Penelope Douglas books but this might be the push I need and it’s a complete series.
Wait…twist??? Do you mean – how can I say it cryptically – “the big water”?
I’m still in a book-love-haze-fog-whatever and twirling around and humming from OTI…well, twirling and humming in my mind at least. 😉 I started Here’s to Falling and so far no tears or angst so my OTI hangover continues!!! 😀
Yes Amy… the big water. 😉 That’s right. How clever!
While We Waited by Tammy Falkner comes out on May 27, it was April, but got pushed back recently.
Amy – if you need a little taste of the islands – you could continue your “trust the ladies of Maryse’s book blog” feelings……. and….. maybe…. I dunno…. read Surviving Raine? You’d get your bad boy fix (he;s like a good M.Sheehan kind of bad guy)… and get a little island lovin’…. and a likable female lead. We’re on a roll here, Amy, just go with it.
Amy you just know I’m going to second the SR rec since It’s on my all time fav list. Remember, I read Room 212. Which I loved, even if I screamed at it a few times while loving it.
Well, good news ladies. I got lucky and kicked out of my Kulti slump with Atom Heart John Beloved. This is one crazy, messed up page turner.
It’s M/M so don’t read it if that bothers you. If you’re interested in a crazy read then the link is on last Friday’s list. Unless the ending blows it for me, this is a 5 star for me.
Michelle, I have to go with the twin reading preference thing and say READ BULLY! Seriously, it’s one of my all time favorite contemporaries. Jared is such an a$$ and Tate is pretty cool. Seriously, Jared is one of my all time BBFs.
Hey to the history ladies? Have any of you read Elizabeth Thornton? I just saw she has some books digital and for 2.99. From what little I saw she has positive feedback. Just curious what to start with.
Amy, SR was great. Gah, you totally fall for him. But just to be contrary I’ll put my vote to Butterfly Tattoo. 😉
Not that far in yet with Station Eleven around page 100. Was only able to read on commute so far today. Interesting book to read stuck on public transit with some one coughing in your ear, lol.
This part though, ” Of all of them there at the bar that night, the bartender was the one who survived the longest. He died three weeks later on the road out of the city.”
OMG SURVIVING RAINEEEEEEE!!!
YES. YES. YESSSSSSSS.
I need to make a dire straights “stuck on an island with a hottie stranger” list.
bev… I’m starting it next. YAY!!!
Bev – Elizabeth Thorton is good, just she falls under the, “hmm, what was that book about again?” with some of her books. I’ve read a lot of them, though, I didn’t know for sure until I found the set I remember loving. Dangerous Kiss and Perfect Princess. Suddenly quite a few came back to me due to those. Then again, let’s be honest, I don’t remember most of Lisa Kleypas’s books, and I had all of them at one point. :/
Maryse, Yay. Michelle’s gush describes it perfectly. I have to say it is different than what I was expecting, but I can not put it down. Everything else sort of fades away. Just gorgeous.
Thanks Tessa!
Lol, I totally get it. Kleypas…..well fan girl here. But many others I adored, Garwood, I seriously can not remember much more than the fact I liked them. Or just even that I read them.
Hahaha Same here, with the exception of For the Roses. I adored that book. Oh, and it’s a western!
Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas is a great book! It was amazing when I first read it years ago, and was still great when I read it a couple months ago. I love the whole Wallflower series.
Tessa, crap I finished another scifi and started Meet Me in the Dark last night but I should have went with Bully then! Is every book in the series about them or it seems there is a spinoff couple or something in one or two from the blurbs? I have Bully already though and it will be next!
Hi ladies, I hardly ever post but I have to say…
Amy, you have to read Surviving Raine so good!
Laura, after voyager is the perfect time to take a break. Are you planning to read the Lord John Gray books? If so they are shorter and have a different feel to them than the first books and he appears in the later Outlander books. I envy you getting to read these for the first time so much fun.
Went back to my TBR and read Toxic! I loved the first book, Ruin, in the series by Rachel Van Dyken and Toxic did not disappoint! Loved it!!!!!
Ammmmyyyyy……SR!!!!!!
Michelle, Bully, Until You and Aflame are them. Rival and Falling Away are two others. Bully is the original, Until You is Jared’s POV (one done correctly, with mostly new scenes, not a ton of repeats) and Aflame is the end book. Rival is Maddox’s story and Falling Away is Jax’s story. Bully can be read as a standalone. The others are extra, though even in Until You you can see why Aflame was written.
Speaking of Aflame, *sighs* Happy fog. It even has an awesome HEA for them all. I should read Captive, the second half, but instead, happy fog.
Jeeeeeaaaannn…….SGT!!!!!! 😛
You’re killing me here, ladies! Jean and I have a deal so I can’t read Surviving Raine until she starts Sweet Gum Tree. Yep, that’s right…CAN’T. ‘Cause since when does my book decision making process make any sense?? *snort*
I stayed up reading way to late on a work night, lol. Have around 50 pages left. Hate having to put it down when so close to the end.
Lori, The Devil in Winter! A thousand times yes. One of my favorite s.
I just finished The HookUp and I loved it too! Similar to The Deal, but without the funny moments! 🙂
Finished Here’s To Falling and it was pretty good and a fast read…a couple of teary-eyed moments and a small dash of angst, but mostly it was just drama, drama, drama…which is fine except that after Interim, Marrow, OTI *dreamy sigh* and Here’s To Falling, I think I need something different. I was going to go with Before I Go but now I’m kinda in the mood for dystopian or postapocalyptic or something like that…or maybe I’ll catch up with the BDB guys…or maybe something with zombies? Hmmm….
Amy, so glad you like OTI. It’s one of my favorites. The characters are so likeable, instantaneously. Plus I have a thing for forbidden romances, shhh.
You will really like SR.The hero is so lovable, that it’s hard not to crush on him.
I finished ‘The Hookup,’ I really liked it. Drew did it for me. He knew from the start that she is the one and I wish all men were like that.
I started, ‘The Hurricane,’ it’s good so far. Danny the chain smoker is entertaining and really when was the last time anyone called me, “Sunshine.” )-:
Almost done with Need Me. I like it but I really, really liked Chase Me. Seriously I love everything Tessa Bailey writes. Guaranteed fun, witty, hot reads. Love ’em all. I have had Mimi’s King book on my kindle for ages. Seeing you post about it Maryse is making me feel like I need to get on it and SOON! I’m also reading The Virgin and taking it slow because I LOVE TIFFANI REISZ and never want her books to end. But I’m also trying to get to The Nightingale. I read Kristin Hannah’s last book, it was ok, but the reviews for The Nightingale are off the charts. Plus, comparisons to the amazing Bronze Horseman are pulling me to it. Also need to fit in a re-read of I’ll Give you the Sun which I LOVED WITH PASSION!!!! It’s my book club book choice this month so need to get it fresh in my head to review. Looking so forward to a reread. 🙂
I honestly can’t read anything after Aflame. I tried Captive, but they are at a steamy part, so I got bored. :-\ My problem is the first story is so deeply embedded in my heart, other romances aren’t cutting it for me. Diamond sure isn’t. Maybe no romance for a bit.
Can I read Bully for the first time again?
MichelleS loving the Taeien Soul series. I’m on book 4 now but will need good recs for this genre… What do you recomennd next? I don’t want to start Radience as only one book is out and followed up your fantastic Written in Red rec with Tarien Soul so what next?! Thanks,
I wish I had been reading the same ones you all are reading. I finished Atom Heart John Beloved and its sequel, Nathan’s Story and I feel completely wrung out. I don’t even want to think about reading another book right now.
*hugs Fabi* Stupid, mean good books ruining our reading ability.
So many books that interest me on this list. When I saw Rock Star + NFL star I was squeeing, until I realized that the Never Over You series has a 3rd book that is not released yet! *pout* Also, same for Diamonds which is the first book in a series. Maybe the Fall Away series. Need Me sounds good and I really liked Chase Me too. The Consequences of Loving Colton sounds really funny. Gah, my reading mood is so schizo!! 😉
Laura, I read all the Outlander series pretty much back to back. Once I started I had to keep going because I loved the story so much. If I remember correctly, my favorite book so far is Voyager. However, I do love the later books with Roger who is a close second to Jamie!! It is a huge time commitment and it’s not over yet!! 😉
Jennifer – Tairen Soul – oh, be still my heart! My all time favorite. So glad you are enjoying it. I will think hard about a good follow up!
Tessa – okay, I need just a little hint. Just one hint. I am about 43% into book two of Indebted series. What the heck is going on? Is there some paranormal element that is going to be revealed? It’s all so mysterious. All this foreshadowing is making me itchy.
Cheryl – I’m a huge Roger fan too, but I just love love love young Ian and William and, of course, the best of the lot is Lord John!!! Whenever he is in a scene it’s just the best. Did you read the last one? Lord John cracked me up with all his, “my dear”s….. !!!
Jennifer – I thought of a good fantasy series – have you read Knights of the Black Swan series? It takes place in an alternate universe (I love those) and the characters are well developed and so likable. Cool world. Plot twists. Loved it. (And Rammel Hawking is just…. I have no words…. best.damn.elf.ever.)
MichelleS, I did read the last one and Lord John was more enjoyable in that than in the spinoff series. I do like Ian and hot-headed William!! Interesting to see where his “relationship” with Jamie goes.
*Evil laugh* Do you see why I kept ranting while I read them? I can’t really say anything, other than it’s not a paranormal. However, beyond that, my lips are sealed! Muahahaha! Very seriously though, I really can’t give more without destroying the story. Though, totally feel free to suddenly start typing your feelings, like, erm… Stupid Jet? ACK, WTF? or my personal favorite, yelling a lot at Nila. Or cried for her. Or hid my head for her…
I’m in complete book hangover land after reading Forever red by Carina Adams….just a Beautiful second chance love story!!!!! I don’t have a clue of what to read after this either……I guess I’m going to try Aflame….
Tessa have you read Fear me by BB Reid it’s like Bully met fiftyshadish….it’s my top favorite for this year….and it a little on the dark side…..I actually liked it better than Bully and I looooooved Bully……and the 2nd book Fear You comes out May 11th
Tessa – you are evil! I am now at 59% and the suspense is killing me. What the heck is going on???? Kes and Kite and her twin brother and the debts to be paid (debt one just got paid) and the Motorcycle Club and the dad and the hunting and dogs and… and… and… I need a drink. I blame you for my anxiety attack Tessa. JUST ONE HINT!!!!
and Tessa don’t even get me started on the “welcome dinner” and all these bikers and their mysterious weirdo names…. this is all so whacked (and I secretly love it).
I just finished Forever Red and absolutely LOVED it!! I also have one heck of a book hangover!! Hands down one of the BEST books I have read this year 5++++++ stars!! LOVED NEIL/NATE! Oh, what to read next?? Might try Aflame also.
*plops down next to MichelleS* Did you say something about a drink?? 😀
Oh hey, by the way MichelleS…I was in the mood for something different and I haven’t read a good PNR set in high school in a while (feeling a little nostalgic for my Twilight and Lux and Vampire Academy days), so I started reading this one that’s supposed to be pretty good. Maybe you’ve heard of it…Roam? 😉
Deborah, OMG, loved Fear Me. I will definitely be reading the second one. Keiran makes Jared look nice. Keiran scares me big time. Boy, I can’t wait for Fear You! *grins* Though, I like Bully better for the emotional aspect. The scene in the class when she gives her report breaks my heart every time I read it.
MichelleS… wasn’t that welcome dinner interesting? *snickers* The dogs scene, that is tame compared to what’s coming. The second debt… Here’s a martini! And look! Amy is finally reading Roam! (I should point out my snickering in real life sounds super evil.)
Hrm, maybe after Night School, I’ll re-read Fear Me to prepare for May 11th. That book was fun.
Finished Station Eleven. Loved it.
Michelle, in the scene when she is thinking of taking the tea set from the nursery? Umm……no. No way. I could not have taken it. * shivers*
I need a Xanax. Is there a drink-mixer for that Amy? Where do I start? Tessa is to blame because I just finished Indebted #2. What a cluster this book series is. I can’t predict a dang thing. Can’t guess on anything. Tessa is locked up tight like fort knox over here not giving away any hints. This is one messed up story!
Then there’s Amy who not only read OTI, but is now reading Roam??? Put a fork in me – I am done! My head is exploding. Too much goodness in one week to process.
And not to mention that Tairen Soul and Outlander have been splashed in here and there. And Station Eleven?
Overload happening here. If you put a gun to my head right now and told me I had to pick a book to read next, I still couldn’t. You girls have me in a true tizzy!
*pushes Second Debt towards Michelle* Hmm? Did I mention the Second Debt was far worse than the first?
…. accepts challenge from Tessa…. oh bring it on Mr. Jethro-bad-boy!! Bring. It. On. ….. because there better be a good explanation for all of this. There’s SIX books? OY VEH!
MichelleS, when looking for something new to read don’t forget E&P. It’s YA but really think you will like it. No, love it.;-)
I thought I remember some one else reading Station Eleven, besides just Michelle.
I had to get Down the Shore by t Torrest. Finished in 1 day. Such a good book. I loved her Remember When series and this one did not disappoint. If you lived through the 90’s you will smile and chuckle at the references to incorporates into her books. These books are perfect to add to your summer reads…or if you want to pretend it’s summer, go ahead and start them now 🙂
ROFL Yes! You might be cursing me by the time it’s done. Um… yeah, you’ll be cursing me. Definitely cursing me. Here! https://www.drinksmixer.com/drink12308.html Pink diamonds drink!
Yey Bev another fan! I just adore that book and will never forget it or the experience of reading it. I think it’s the whole package and yes I remember shivering for quite a few scenes like that! “Love is like the lion’s tooth” – I spent forever just reflecting on that one line.
Reading Meet Me in the Dark and I’m generally confused about what is happening and what the book is about…only one third in though.
Who’s the author of the Tairen Soul series?
Also what is this book called that has you all twisted up MichelleS? Sounds intriguing
Started reading Bully when I realized I had it on already. So far so good, really wondering what happened the summer Jared when to his Dad’s and if that plays into why he “hates” Tate now. Still not sure if I’m going to read the entire series before I read Aflame.
MichelleS you’re cracking me up with your comments about the Indebted series!! 🙂
https://www.drinksmixer.com/drink7813.html (Xanax spelled wrong)
Meant to say had it on my *kindle* already.
Deborah, I LOVED Forever Red and Neil/Nate too!!! Fear Me is better than Bully?!! Guess I’ll be reading that one after Fear You is released. Not a trilogy is it?
LaurenB – author of Tairen Soul is C.L. Wilson – 5 book series – really need to read all to get the story
The book that has me in a tizzy is Tessa’s recommended “Indebted” series by Pepper Winters. It’s a real page turner. It’s not often that I have not one inkling of what is going on. Mud Vein was like that – I had no clue. There is some serious pay-back to be had and I have no clue WHY.
And Bev – it is on my very short list of TBR-next…. (E&P). Looking forward to it after this hot mess called Indebted. And…. yes, I read Station Eleven after Michelle mentioned it was one of her faves. It was spectacular. I am still talking about it and recommending it to lots of people. Remember the grocery store scene at the beginning? That one struck me – all those trips back and forth. And what would you get? Then the French Airliner on the tarmac. That was creepy as all get out.
MichelleS, you are making me want to start Indebted right now! I think I already have the first 2 downloaded.
Still need to read Roam and Station Eleven!!!! Ugh!
Oh and I agree with the above, loved, loved, loved Forever Red!
I’m reading Roam from the bundle with the six books and the novella, and it’s telling me I have 32 hours and 16 minutes left in the book. Well then…
Amy, lol. I have the first one. Just have to read it. That and Poison Princess very high on the tbr list.
Just started Black Count and it is very interesting.
Amy – I am seriously giddy and grinning like a loon that you are reading Roam. They just get better and better. But the last book… blew me away. It was so original. And cool. All that time travel. I hope you stick with it. I got sucked in and read them back-to-back.
Thank u girlies so I didn’t start the next outlander but I’m so not going to squirrel *eyes Amy and maryse(known squirrelers)* but I did start to read tessa’s great recommendation very bad things! Now I’m hooked on this and will have to add the rest of them there is just not enough hours in the day!!
Wow, I can’t wait to start Indebted! Oh the anticipation….
Ok so I finished that book now I’m starting drums of autumn 71 chapters?! Holy crapolla! God I see u all next month keep note of all the goodies i will miss!
Started Indebted series, I’m about half way through the first one and don’t think I’m going to be able to put it down until Ive finished tonight.
I loved mud vein too michelleS so anything with those feels I just had to read. I love not knowing what the hell is going on and Tarryn is the queen of the mind f****
I’ve only read the first of the Roam books, I remember loving it so have no idea why I haven’t got round to finishing that series.
Roam…aack! I have to get back to that series. I read the first one and have it in my unfinished series list. Wish I’d just kept going right through.
Bev, I read Station Eleven too at Michelle’s suggestion. It was a slow start for me but once I got going with it I love love loved it.
I just finished another sci fi rom. I think I’m going to go ahead and read the final book in the Night Owl trilogy. The first one was so good. The second one not as much. Let’s see what the third one does.
*does happy dance* Yeah, people are loving Bully and Indebted!
How many hours do you have left now, Amy? 28? LOL. (crossing my fingers you keep reading and actually like it).
I am going to keep going with the insane Indebted series. Why the heck not? It’s all I can think about right now.
Then, I MUST read Eleanor and Park. Bev hasn’t let me down yet…..
Cheryl………I pretty sure Fear you is the last book……and I did like Fear me better than Bully but it’s quite different very dark( dubious consent) if you can handle things like that………let’s just say Fear me makes Bully look like sesame street;)
What is it about a Thursday? Usually I get off of work and you ladies have blown up my inbox. Thursday, not so much.
MichelleS, Amy loved it too. We can be on totally opposite ends of the spectrum with books, lol. So if we loved E&P……
Sorry Bev. I am reading the Night School series and am totally engrossed. The first was free and I got the sample to remember to read the second, and it got lost. I was going through the samples, making a collection of continued books, and found it! *grins* I’m already on book four!
Thanks Deborah!
Finished and really liked Bully. Now 3 more books to go. Good news is I know what I will be reading for the next few days. 😉
So, tomorrow I’m reading Heat. But for the weekend I need to pick a good b-day read. I’m thinking maybe the Kleypas I just got or maybe one of the Kinsales…..
Number 19 up there, I’ve recently seen a couple very positive reviews for it. I just glanced at them but may have to go back for closer look. Just a novella and good price.
Oh, and more yeahs of Very Bad Things. Cheryl, I’m glad you liked it. The difference between Fear Me and Bully is Jared is horrid, but he’s a BBF horrid for me. Keiran… if I met him irl, I’d run the other way. *grins*
Sorry!! Not 19 but Number 18. The Loren one. Though I’m sure the other is good too.
Part way through Aflame. I’m liking it and hope Tate keeps holding her own. I’m not sure Jared totally made up all the way in Bully. And now this.
But something that I find aggravating.
“Jax narrowed his eyes on her over the hood.”When you think about the women who aren’t interested in my brother, it pretty much just leaves the lesbians.”
That’s just…..ugh. And then Tate has the same thought! Kind of expected more from her. Especially with how she loves Madoc & Jax.
Ok, end rant. :-\
Hahaha I would think for some women, being around him for five minutes would be enough to not be attracted to him. He is an … jerk after all.
Speaking of Fear Me, it’s on sale right now for .99
Also Fabi, I thought of you since we were just talking about Eve Langlais – her book Accidental Abduction is currently free.
Done with Meet Me in the Dark which was not my favorite, guess I expect more from a story by her when I know she can deliver. I really have no idea why it is getting such high ratings…Tessa, fingers crossed that Bully pulls me out of this book slump!
*crosses fingers* I just love the emotions of the book. That, and Jared, but I like jerks…
I’m on the last Night School, and it’s taking everything in me to not cheat and read the end to know who the spy is. The book is exciting, but I admit, I don’t know who did it. I have something like five theories. It’s insane.
Thank you Michelle. I’ve been reading her cyborg series. This is a good opportunity to try one of her others.
I’m halfway through After Dark. It’s much more like the first one. Scary, tense and downright wicked.
Okay Maryse, that *was* the twist in OTI you were talking about…very clever of her indeed!
MichelleS, I finished Roam and have…let’s see…only 25 hours and 28 minutes left now. 😛
