Invincible: The Chronicles of Nick
I can’t get enough of the Dark-Hunters (even if some of ’em are in “teen” format). Yup, Nick has been, and remains one of my favorite characters in this series. I’m thoroughly enjoying his “growing-up spin-off”. I love to see how he was introduced to the paranormal world, and even more so, how it almost seems that things just might change…somehow, somewhere in the future of the Dark-Hunters. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
So the next one in Nick’s saga will be released this Tuesday March 22nd 2011, and here is a little tidbit and trailer for ya!
**Note to Dark-Hunter fans. The Chronicles of Nick *is* Nick’s real and true past.
“Nick Gautier?s day just keeps getting better and better. Yeah, he survived the zombie attacks, only to wake up and find himself enslaved to a world of shapeshifters and demons out to claim his soul.
His new principal thinks he?s even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit him to things he can?t even mention and the girl he?s not seeing, but is, has secrets that terrify him.
But more than that, he?s being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he doesn?t learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will become one of them…”

The New York Times-bestselling with over 19 million books in print, Sherrilyn Kenyon is renowned the world over as “the reigning queen of the paranormal genre that she pioneered long before the world had heard of Twilight.”
I read the first one, a little confused though. I didn’t think he knew anything about himself until he turned DH. Where did I miss the knowledge of his background in the DH series?
You know Penny, I think that’s the thing. Things are changing in his past – someone (HIM) keeps interfering… so how much is all this going to change the future, right? See, I think Sherrilyn Kenyon is being clever.
Oh yeah Sherri is being very clever. Lots and lots of foreshadowing in this book. I wonder how long the series is going to be?
Hello Ms. Kenyon!
I’m a Guyanese living in Trinidad. I just wanted 2 say that I’m one of ur biggest Fan! I’ve read both of Nick’s book & I’m salivating over the others, I can’t wait. I already read All of the Dark Hunter books that’s published. On one last note, the book of ACHERON was my only sad reading because of his experience whenever I remember it I feel a bit sad & I cried a lot reading it
Hey Lily….. I just read that there will be 14 yes 14 Nick books then he will get a regular DH book that takes place in “this” time…. π
This is what she states on her site…. you can find it here:

“”**Note to Dark-Hunter fans: The CHRONICLES OF NICK *is* Nickβs real and true past. There is a huge surprise (several actually) in the series that I donβt want to spoil, but when you read them, everything you think is an inconsistency will make perfect sense to you. More than that, you will understand exactly why Nick is the way he is and his complicated relationships with Acheron and Artemis. Nickβs series will run until it intersects with Night Pleasures and then Nick will have his own novel in the Dark-Hunter world. Remember the one promise that I try to keep in every book: Just when you think you know the truth about a character or event, you find out that things are seldom what they seem. Nick is one of those characters. Thereβs a lot more to our little Cajun than what
youβve seen to date. Thatβs why it takes 14 books to tell his story. And every event has a different perspective depending on which characters is telling it. Everyone views the world and the beings in it very differently.””
