<— BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! LOOK WHAT’S LIVE!! Kristen Ashley’s latest book: Soaring (The Magdalene Series Book 2)!!!
ALSO!! This entire DARK series has been bundled and just went live (at a rock-bottom price!!) —> Monsters in the Dark by Pepper Winters
Happy Sunday everyone! I love waking up to a brand new book to start, AND to a big bunch of books that were just released or just went on super-sale (and I mean books by our fav authors!!). *squeeee* Very good Sunday ahead of us, indeed, my friends!
So what book am I reading today? EASY! Hearts of Fire by L.H. Cosway. <— I’ve already started it, already loving it and it’s been on my TBR list for about a week. And I was especially excited when Marine said:
Marina: “Ok, I am absolutely MOURNING that I’m almost done with Hearts of Fire.
Lovin’ it! Not sure how I’ll move on? How? Please tell me how?“
Kostantina: Hearts of fire !! Omg it’s fantastic !! Blazing up my iPad !! Have you started it yet Maryse ?!?!?
GAH!!! I can’t get to it fast enough you guys!!! OMG I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!! MINE!! And! it’s from one of my favorite authors and I’ve been told this one is HARD to get over, and I am so very excited!!!
- Pocketful of Sand by M. Leighton <— JUST RELEASED and already so many awesome reviews!! Another one of my fav authors! Ohhhh the girls were on the run from a nightmare and… “I don’t know what makes a great love story. Is it that instant attraction when boy meets girl? The passionate kisses and the fairy-tale ending? Or is it a lifetime of tragedy, paid in advance, for a few stolen moments of pure bliss? The pain and the suffering that, in the end, you can say are worth it for having found the missing piece of your soul?“
- The Naughty King (A Sexy Manhattan Fairytale: Part One) by Michelle A. Valentine <— JUST RELEASED!! And from the blurb… he’s pretty darn bossy!
- Soul Rest: A Knights of the Board Room Novel by Joey W. Hill <—- JUST RELEASED – Cop/Dom alert! YES!! I remember when this series was making waves. This author was a HUGE favorite amongst our crew… “Then Sergeant Leland Keller walks into her life. He’s the Dom she’s always feared and hoped she’d meet, and he recognizes her as what he’s been looking for as well. But she fights submission as much as she longs for it…” GAH! I LOVE THAT COVER! And it’s over 400 pages!
- Accidental Alpha (A is for Alpha Male Book 3) by Laurel Curtis <— JUST RELEASED!!
- Moments in Time by Nina C. Payne <— JUST RELEASED and *gasp*! Forbidden…
Cement Heart by Beth Ehemann <— JUST RELEASED!! “When what was supposed to be an innocent bet goes horribly wrong, he’s left to deal with the aftermath—and the guilt. In an effort to make things right the best way he can, he ends up falling for the one person on the planet he never should have.“
- Death Row by Sienna Lane <— JUST RELEASED BIKER BOOK! She’s kidnapped by the biker club because she witnessed something she shouldn’t have… (it’s a short one but might be fun for a few hours!)
- Clear: A Death Trippers Novel by Jessica Park <— She’s one of my FAVORITES and her latest release from just a few weeks ago is on SUPER-SALE. She says the sale will last: “…through Monday night only! You will probably *never* see this price again…“
Jacked (Trent Brothers Book 1) by Tina Reber <— ALL of Tina Reber’s books are on super-sale right now, including her latest one, also from a few weeks ago!
- Love Unscripted:The Love Series, Book 1 by Tina Reber <— This one too! PLUS it’s one of my favorite books EVER. (my review)
- Love Unrehearsed: The Love Series, Book 2 by Tina Reber <— loved this one, too! (my review)
- A Questionable Friendship by Samantha March <— SUPER-bargain priced and sounds really good! Best friends right into their adulthood with very different lives and things are not so good anymore. “Portland envies her friend’s seemingly stable and easy life while Brynne doesn’t understand the growing distance between them and cannot begin to guess what secret Portland is hiding about her husband and crumbling marriage. While one woman feels shut out, the other enters into a web of lies to protect herself.“
- When You Make It Home by Claire Ashby <— Another super-bargain that sounds pretty great! She gets pregnant and tries to hide it! “She’s learned her lesson and has her mind set on success—until she gets knocked up. Embarrassed and unwilling to discuss her situation with friends and family, she wears layers to hide the pregnancy. When Meg gets sick at a party, she’s mortified. Even worse, Theo Taylor, the guest of honor, discovers her secret. Theo, an Army medic wounded in the war, agrees not to reveal her condition, and the two forge a bond of friendship that blossoms into love.“
- Soaring (The Magdalene Series Book 2) by Kristen Ashley <— P.S. LIVE!!! 😀
So happy you are reading Hearts of Fire. I have been so tempted by it but trying to stick to tbr. That set up just looks so interesting. Can’t wait to hear what you think and if I should shuffle around the tbr. Been interested in her collaboration with P. Reid, too.
I’m starting Pocketful of Sand today. It has 69 reviews so far on Amazon with 65 five-star and 4 four-star, and considering her books have consistently high ratings I think it’s safe to assume the reviews for this one can be trusted. And I really want to give Death Trippers a try next…either that or The 27 Club which definitely seems to have a different vibe to it!
Ooooh, if anyone hasn’t read Love Unscripted…you’re missing out!!! It was my first celebrity book and I still get butterflies and the warm and fuzzies when I think of Ryan and Taryn!! *dreamy sigh*
Oh wait…I wanna know what the forbidden aspect is in Moments in Time. Click!
Thanks for this nice little surprise list, Maryse! 😀
Amy!! That forbidden one sounds hurty!!!
P.S. My pleasure. These were too good to let pass by…
bev, I’ll keep you guys updated. So far so good, and has the same feel somewhat as the last circus bad boy one I read… (The Traveling Man).
I was really interested in Hearts of Fire too but thought you would need to read Six of Hearts to enjoy it more (I know it says standalone). Maryse you reviewed Six of Hearts, is there a need to read the first book or can we jump to the new one?
Amy, let us know what you think of Pocketful of Sand……I love M. Leighton!
I love this list….Clear, Moments in Time (that one’s calling me), When You Make It Home…… what to read next? I’m in a funk!
Oh, haven’t read Love Unscripted yet….. guess I better 1-click it while it’s on sale!
Michelle, you don’t need to read book #1 at all. This is his brother (so I’ve been told) but can totally be read as a standalone…
In fact, so far I don’t see a connection between the two…
I met M. Leighton yesterday and got a signed copy of “Pocketful of Sand”. I cannot wait to read it!
What a great list. I’m super excited to start Cement Heart, but I had no clue Tina reber released a book a few weeks ago. Does anyone mind telling me which that is I would love to check it out.
Thanks Maryse 🙂 I’m going to read it this week then. I love that cover too!
Pocketful of Sand is looking good too – Amy update us like Jean said prettttty pleassseee
Pocketful of Sand and Clear sound really good! I loved Loved Unscripted and Love Unrehearsed too! 🙂
Curious about Hearts of Fire too, can’t wait to read your review.
Hmmm…. Just finished Pocketful of Sand…It was really good…but I m confused!! Who else has read it???? Amy??? It was a nice quick read for me and Cole is yummy..let’s just say there is a twist towards the end!!
Michelle I re-read Six of Hearts( which is very good by the way) and there really isn’t much mention of the brother( who is the Hero in hearts of fire) so I think your safe!!!
Waiting for Soaring to pop up on my Kindle….but my digital library just delivered the first alpha and omega book so I’m going to dive into that!!
Niki, keep us updated on Soaring. I liked the Will, though heroines speech pattern went from quirky to annoying for me, well enough. But have been disappointed in some of her recent releases. I have seen some good buzz, though.
https://smartbitchestrashybooks.com/2015/03/its-dabwaha-2015-bracket-selection-sunday/
So, I heard about this last year and thought I might try It this year. If I can figure it out that is.
Christie! I’m jealous!
Bev, that looks like fun! I think I may try it!
I’ve been reading new to me books this weekend. I finished Sex Love Repeat and loved it and my first Abbi Glines – Fallen Too Far and I have dive right into the second book, I did grab Clear because I loved Left Drowning and Flat Out Matt.
Jean, just finished filling it out. A lot of guessing and picking what had buzz around it. But my final pick was just loyalty. My final four were Think of England, Magic Breaks, The Bollywood Affair, and MOC. Picked MOC, lol, though I don’t think it has the votes.
I have to catch up on my reading. Looking at the noms there are several I have wanted to read since they came out.
I’m still reading it Niki…and it has a twist?!? YAY!!!! I’ll keep you updated ladies, but so far I’m really liking it. 😉
Jean! *gasp* You hafta hafta hafta read Love Unscripted!! HAFTA!!! And Shana…Jacked is the new one by Tina Reber, and I think each book will be a standalone and about Kyle’s (Taryn’s bodyguard in LU) brothers.
*snicker* Hurty? So we have forbiddenny and now hurty…I love the words that pop up around here… 😛
Bev… *scratching head* I’m a little lost on that contest…do a girl a kindness and explain it? Please??
Tracy!! You read some good ones! If you liked SLR then you need to try out her books Tight and Black Lies. Mind fu– er, mind messeries. 😉 And I loved Rush and Blaire. LOVED them in all four of their books.
Amy, I agree I loved Love Unscripted, but I don’t remember too much about Kyle, so didn’t realize the new book is about his brothers.
Tracy I second what Amy said, I loved Rush and Blaire!
I don’t quite understand the contest either.
I loved “Love Unscripted” and the follow up… so there’s a new one? About his brother? Gotta check that out.
In a slump for sure. So many abandoned books. I keep falling asleep or checking on Pinterest or watching something on TV. Nothing is doing it for me.
PLEASE find us our next great read Maryse!!!
Honestly Im not sure I grasp all of it, especially the tie breaker. I just randomly chose a number. It’s based on the march madness bracket. Except instead of game wins you pick what book you think will get the most votes ( points) in each round. You keep choosing until you end up with one winner.
So in Round 1 there are lots of “games”. In one of the first it is The Bollywood Affair vs. Vanished. Bollywood had a lot of buzz last yr so I think more will vote for her. I clicked on the title and it moved her over to round 2.
Also in first round Maybe this Christmas is playing Between the sheets. I think Christmas will get more votes so clicked that title. So now it’s Bollywood vs. Christmas. And so on. The goal is to guess right and pick all the winners. Best bracket wins as does 2nd best and worse bracket. I guess the authors get really into it on twitter all in good fun. And donate some of the prizes.
Did I confuse you more?
Wow. * looks up* that was a long post.
Uh-oh, MichelleS, book slump? Hate those so much. Sometimes re reads are all that work for me. Hmm, can I rec one, maybe a little from left field, to sample? Eyes of Silver Eyes of Gold.
Off to read my own book.
No, that’s great Bev…thanks!
MichelleS, the new series Trent Brothers is about Kyle’s brothers (not sure if I’m gonna read it or not) but she will be releasing a LU book #3 called Love Unguarded about Mike and Marie…and we’ll get to see Ryan and Taryn again! I WILL be reading that one. 😀
Think I’ll have to re-read LU before tackling #3; I can’t remember who Mike and Marie are. 😉
MIchelleS, I feel your pain. All yesterday I tried to find a book that grabbed my attention. I settled on Slow Burn since it was on my tbr and I LOVED Colton in the driven series. It’s been good, but…
Rush and Blaire? Is that Fallen Too Far? I’ve had that for a while too and haven’t read it……
Ok thanks girlies!! I read Jacked and I loooved it just the way that post sounded I thought I missed something
Pocketful of Sand was soooo good! 5*s easily. I love the way M. Leighton did the ending. I just finished Cement Heart by Beth Ehemann and it was really good too. I give it 4.5*s.
Yes yes I am loving Rush! I read Love Unscripted awhile back but one clicked Love Unrehearsed because I do want to read Jacked. Also forgot to throw in that I read Night Owl and loved it. I will be following up with the second one as well. Too many books but it’s a good problem to have.
OMG Jean you have to read Fallen Too Far. Loved Rush. The first 3 books in the Rosemary Beach Series are about Rush and Blaire. 😉
Amy – I did read Tight but I liked SLR better and Black Lies is on my radar
I decided to go back to the 18th century and visit another of Paula Quinn’s books. Since I skipped to the second book in the Highland Heirs (Alexander Kidd) – I went back to read book one. They are all stand alones, so it doesn’t really matter. So far so good. Like I said before, it’s a formula I know and it works for me. That’s what I need right now – proven formula with good writing.
I will check that one out though, Bev, the title alone has me intrigued.
And I picked up “Jacked” for whenever that mood strikes me.
I wish someone would tell me if KA’s book is worth getting! Anyone?
OK I don’t know what to start, Fallen Too Far, Alexander Kidd, Love Unscripted…… I picked up Jacked too , When You Make it Home, Fear and This Much is True. My 1-clicker finger was out of control yesterday!
Finished Stay With Me this weekend and was disappointed. Not as good as the first two books in the series.
I’m halfway through Hearts of Fire and the writing is great, the story is good and I’m enjoying but it’s not unputdownable as of yet…
Testing…
testing?
MichelleS, I’m still debating Soaring. I did just read a 4 star review but……
You guys are killing me, I currently have 47 books on my TBR aye…. I read, A hunger like no other and Angel’s blood this weekend and oh my God, love them both… Wingman (Woman), this morning and it’s hot and sassyyyyy….
Amy????? Michelle????? Question for you two polish addicts. Have either of you ever tried a-england polishes? I’ve been thinking of maybe getting a new pink and was going to look up swatches of what I may find local. Anyway fell down the rabbit hole and came across this brand. Colors look gorgeous if more vibrant than I usually wear.
But for my random not very often polish urges maybe a little too much to order, lol.
Bev, of course I have and they are awesome! I’ve gotten all of mine from the Llarowe website, mostly the legends collection. I wear tristam, st. george, dragon, elaine and lancelot the most which are mostly darker colors. They have great coverage though and the holo effect is beautiful.
I finished Confess a few days ago and am now reading Lesley Jones’ new book Conviction. Anyone else reading it?
How?? How did I not know of those polishes???? Those collections!! I’m in love. I want the Elizabeth & Mary, The Mythicals, Heavenly Quotes and The Legend collections and about six of the Harmonies collections! Ugh! The problem with me is that I use *no* self control and always end up buying entire collections when it comes to nail polish. Y’all aren’t helping, ya know that? 😉
My favorite indie polishes are Enchanted Polish (there is a limit of one color per customer and they only have a window of about an hour where you can order them – it’s crazy!) and Dollish Polish, which always has the craziest themes and polish names for their collections.
Yeah aren’t they gorgeous Amy! Oh I can’t even pick a favorite indie but Enchanted Polish and Dollish Polish I have tons of. Dollish Polish even has one called Zombie Flesh for Walking Dead fans on here. I also love Lynnderella, Hare Polish, Crowstoes and Girly Bits. I probably have tried them all and that llarowe website is AMAZING for finding them in one location…also your best shot of purchasing like Amy said since some are super limited. I get a lot from etsy too.
Amy do you have Austin Powers by Enchanted Polish. That one is a HG for me and have multiple bottles!
https://www.thepolishaholic.com/2015/03/a-england-blessed-damozel-swatch-review.html?m=1
This is the one that first caught my attention. Not sure what one I’d choose. Maybe next month I’ll do a little b-day shopping for myself.
I’m impressed, Michelle! I don’t order indie polishes too often because my go-to polish collections are OPI, China Glaze, Zoya, Butter London and Essie, and Maryse got me going on Illamasqua…that polish lasts a crazy amount of time! That Austin Powers polish is stunning. I’ve actually seen it go for over $100 a bottle on eBay, those greedy hookers. *shakes head*
Speaking of Walking Dead polish, Dollish Polish also has one called Look At the Flowers Lizzie. *oomph* Oh, my heart.
MichelleS, if you decide to try Soaring let us know. I’m probably going to cave sooner or later.:-)
JR, I have that one but haven’t read it yet…keep us updated ’cause I am *really* curious about it!!
Bev, I love that color! It reminds me of OPI Russian Navy from the Russia collection…that is one of my favorite collections as they are all absolutely beautiful. I say treat yourself!! 😀
Bev, I don’t have that one but they do dark colors very well. I rec the holo ones too if you are into that thing (tristam is a simar color to that but holo and gorgeoussss).
Amy, I still buy the more mainstream brands too but the indies have so many unique shades! I love OPI but sometimes their collections are too similar to what I already have. Illamasqua has some awesome colors. I think my favorite is Nomad. Oh I had no idea Austin Powers was going for that much, not that I’d give mine up!
Wow, you ladies know your polishes. I’ll change my mind 100 times before I buy, lol. Right now leaning towards Briar Rose. I so wish I liked the Jane Eyre a bit more.
How did I not know of these indie polishes or lllamasqua?! Now I have to try them!! Russian Navy is one of my go to colors! 😉
JR, I have that one on my tbr and read the sample, but then squirreled on another book. How is it so far?
lllamasqua is my FAVORITE!!! Lasts forever, never streaky, self-corrects – awesome colors. Just perfection. And I can’t find any place to order them anymore (I used to buy them at Sephora)….
Maryse it sucks I agree with how hard it is to get Illamasqua now! I loved when Sephora had them. I’m thinking of the colors I have and Scarab and Hemlock are other favs of mine.
Bev, Jane Eyre is not my favorite, the sparkle is too subtle. Briar Rose is pretty though. I say treat yourself!
Yeah, I didn’t see them either at Sephora.com last time I looked but you can still buy them on Illamasqua’s site or on Amazon and eBay…in fact, eBay is *great* for finding discontinued and hard-to-find colors for makeup and nail polish! As long as they aren’t trying to be greedy, that is… 😕
Finished Blood Singer by Tamara Rose Blodgett. The first half drove me nuts with all the time jumps it made. Second half was better, but I barely got past the first half.
Hate to change the subject ladies, but I read Fallen Too Far today in one sitting! I could not put it down…. Loved it! Did anyone read the second book? Some of the reviews for it aren’t great but was just looking for some input from you before I spend $7.99 on it.
Cheryl, watch out it’s a slippery slope once you get into the indies! I have almost as many as I do mainstream brands!
Tessa, you really get through the free books don’t ya? Thanks for letting us know what you think though especially if you find a hidden gem for us. I have a lot of freebies for today that I will post later 😀
Jean, I have Fallen Too Far but never started the series. I know many love it so no idea what I’m waiting for!
I’m still working on Normal by Danielle Pearl but I really like it so far. There are some heavy topics but the story is great how it’s playing out.
OH – Fallen too Far – Michelle – I really liked the Rosemary beach series. But I was in the mood for that teenagey-young-adultish kind of thing at the time. It’s been a while but I remember a bunch of scenes and an interesting twist on the back story that unfolds. It’s worth a look if nothing else is doing it for you.
You know what I am really in the mood for? (besides Wraith Kings 2)…. something exactly like Roam. That’s still my favorite read of the past 4 months. Sigh……
Cheryl, never tried an indie either. Just the brands I find at my local super stores. Now that I know Amy likes zoya I may have to try them as I know can find local.
Jean, are you implying you want to talk books on a book blog!?! 😉 I remember the rush crush, that was fun. I did read the next and I think I liked it. I don’t remember not liking it. I have to admit for me her books are ones I wait until they are on sale.
Michelle, I told you, I depend on freebies! That and KU. *grins*
I had to buy the boxed set of Monsters in the Dark. I only read the first one (Again, characters name!), and really want to read the next two.
Jean, I remember Rush and that first meeting. I envy you getting to read it for a first time. So good.
MichelleS, I’m trying to find a pnr that is good like that. I’ve just… not found it yet. *grins* Unchained Melody was really good, but actually rather light on the para factor, ironically. It was more of a tool than the world of the character.
Thanks guys! I think I will wait for a sale! I loved Tears for Tess so I picked up that great sale on the box set too….been wanting to finish that series!
MichelleS, that is always a hard feeling when you want a certain book.
Bev, you need to get yourself some Zoya! I love their collections. The Tickled and Bubbly collection from last year was soooo fun. It’s kinda cute how each polish is a female’s name…in fact, there is one called Feifei which is be-a-u-ti-ful, and there is a sweet lady named Feifei who comes on here sometimes!
Tessa, I really liked the second and third MITD books but in a different way than the first one. Some unexpected stuff happens so they are different from book 1. You have to come back here when you get to the “oh sh!t” moment in book 2 so I can see your reaction. Hehe… 😛
Jean! You have to jump right into Never Too Far…’cause I said so dangit! And I’m still upset from Walking Dead last night so you need to make a lady happy, m’kay?!? You think you love Rush now? Oh, just you wait. The next two Rush and Blaire books read just as fast, and I thought they were just as good…but maybe that’s because I couldn’t get enough of that couple. 😉 Rush Too Far is the first book from his POV and not necessary to read but still good. I’m with Tessa…so jealous of you right now!!
I totally will. I’m abandoning the one I started. Seriously, it takes place at Disneyland and the person must have never been there before, or looked it up online. *twitches* *erases rant yet again* Research people, research!
Tessa – weren’t you asking for urban fantasy recs the other day? or was that someone else? how could I have forgotten Kinights of the Black Swan series? And book one is FREE!!! OMG… seriously… I am losing it. That’s the hottest elf ever in the history of elves. Everyone will attest to the fact that I swoon over this guy endlessly. On my short list of book-boyfriends!!!
Which one was taking place at Disneyland? What a dorky premise!! LOL

Oh Amy, I do want to read the next one but $7.99??? I did love Rush and Blaire!
Question for you…. have you read Surviving Raine yet?? *hint hint*
I have that one. I’ve yet to read it, but I have it.
Three Years Later starts in Disneyland. I guess that’s where they meet. I expect it to jump in time since he leaves in a day or whatnot, and the age difference is illegal (17 and 20) but still!! I know Disneyland like the back of my hand. So, research was needed.
Oh, and Cal is UC Berkley, not UC San Diego. *sighs, smacking head against a desk*
Rock the Heart was good! I liked that one.
Tessa, lmao you need to stop reading books set in or around where you live or visit.
Amy I’ll have to look up the different names. That could make for cute gifts.
So, found soaring on scribd. Added it to my library. Not sure if will try right or way or not. Unless some one wants to take the plunge with me? Stand alone with in a series and for the most part her series are easy to read that way.
Is that enough freebies for ya Tessa 😉 Oh yeah My Familiar Stranger is great, the whole series is!
Jean, I’ve been on the lookout for sales on the series but they seem to not drop in price too much. Fallen Foo Far was on sale a while ago and I grabbed it but yeah I didn’t want to start and then end up splurging on the next books when they are pricey.
Jean – I finished Fallen too Far over the weekend and had to go for the second last night. I didn’t want to spend the 7.99 either but I did. I am loving it. I’m sure I’ll do the third right away too.
Jean I loved the Rosemary Beach series and the next two books are so good. I’m with you on the price though. Hard to one-click when they are they pricey!!
Amy, I’ll have to take a look at the Zoya colors now!!
Okay Jean, you and I have liked/loved enough of the same romance books that I’ll say this…books 2 and 3 are worth the higher price!! 😀
By the way Jean…BRAT!! 😛 No I have *not* read SR yet! I’m having too much fun with Cole and Eden in Pocketful of Sand to read SR right now. 😉
Yay Tracy! I am seriously so jealous of you and Jean right now. SO jealous. 😉 Anyone else meeting Rush and Blaire for the first time?
Yes Cheryl, you need to check Zoya polishes out…they are so pretty!! Check this out:
https://thepolishgarden.wordpress.com/zoya-collections-list/
It has all of the collections listed, then you can go and google swatches to see what they look like. Y’all have me all giddy and wanting to shop for polish right now!!! 😀
OK Tracy, Cheryl, and Amy, I will probably take the plunge because I miss this couple already!
Oooo Amy, is Pocketful of Sand good??
I looked at some of the Butter London and the names made me smile.
Thought I was doing really good but 90% sure I’ll squirrel after dinner. Sigh:-\
With Hearts of Fire, for me, it was just a world I didn’t want to leave. It felt different to me than what I’ve been reading. And, the last circus book I read was The Night’s Circus which I LOVED but needed more romance and I guess I sort of got that here! 🙂
Do it Jean, even though they are pricey you need to finish the story of Rush and Blaire!!
Thanks Amy, that’s quite the collection of polish. The Delight collection makes me think of Easter!
So Pocketful of Sand is good?
Ok started Soaring. 2 chapters in and enjoying it. Crossing fingers this continues. I hate that I’m so suspicious. My heart hurts a little already for Amelia and if what she is thinking about herself is true then that is a little different from most of KA heroines.
I do like the wanting to remake yourself storylines. Or maybe more the becoming someone you have always wanted to be, especially as she is in her 40s. Fingers crossed.
Yep ladies, I am really enjoying Pocketful of Sand! The pacing is good, and Cole is the perfect balance of troubled yet caring. Their pasts are hinted at and are slowly being revealed, but it’s not like in other books where the author tries to build the suspense but ends up just being annoying in repeatedly bringing up prior events without ever really saying what happened until I just don’t care anymore, ya know? I’m about 50% in so we’ll see how the last half goes…
Just finished Visions in Silver and I need more…2016?! I don’t want to wait that long, I NEED to know what happens next 🙁 such an amazing series! Up there with my all time favs so thanks so much for the rec. Can’t stop talking about it to anyone who will listen
LaurenB, wasn’t it wonderful? I have definitely been a little spoiled by indie books and being able to read the next book in months vs. a year. But then each one has been worth the wait. Would love to know what some of your other favorites are.
