I’m reading my Pick-for-me by the wonderful Fabi, Rush… Well, I just started it and I can tell it’s gonna hurt so good. Lol! It is going to be a wine and Godiva night! Kind of poetic because Emma Scott has another book releasing tomorrow 😆 if anyone needs me, I’ll be in the blankie fort with Manny.

And yep Jean…this is going to be “my favorite day” since I know I won’t have to spend 15 minutes every morning doing my eyebrows!! Tomorrow will also be my favorite day since it will be the first day with my new brows. That really was a sweet line in WLH.
Okay Ela…microblading differs from regular perm makeup in that she will use a teeny tiny scalpel-looking thing to make little slices in my brows and then fill them in with the dye. The little slices mimic natural hairs as opposed to just having a brow shape tattoed on. She will do a little bit at a time and have me check with a mirror every few minutes to direct her for more or less in terms of thickness, arching, length, etc. I’ll have to go back for a touch up in about 6 weeks but then they’ll be good for a long time after that. It takes about 2 to 3 hours.
My brows will be the same shade and shape I use now with my Anastasia BH Dipbrow, and I’ll be able to fill them in and darken or sharpen them as I want to after about a week. I am so excited to have this done!!

I would never do it bev…….I remember my girlfriend wanting to rub her eyebrows so bad, but she couldn’t!
I want to run them or smack them or put ice on them or SOMETHING but I can do nothing of the sort.
As much as I am being a whiny baby, I do know it will all be worth it and I’m glad I had it done. 😉

I know Jean…don’t they look amazing once they’re healed?? I have to get a touch up and final fill in four weeks from now, but in the meantime I am trying not to obsess over the shape and the desire to build them up with my Brow Wiz pencil.

It’s $12.99 AUD so I’m not buying it unless I’m convinced it’ll be worth it. I’m interested in the new Julianna Keyes as well, but my tbr is already HUGE!
Lisa C I sneaked a peek at Dear Aaron last night (even though I’m trying to finish a HR before I read it) and yeah, it didn’t immediately grab me either. The h seems a little immature. :/ And cosplay? Um, just no…..not my thang. But I LOVED Kulti and Wall of Winni. Kulti is one of my fav ever books! So when I do get to DA properly I’m really gonna give it a red hot go.

Alright, so! Beautiful Player. I really like it, but I’m not LOVING it. I almost think it was jinxed because everyone loved it so much, and fell so far for Will that I just didn’t get the thrill. It’s still enjoyable though. 😀 And I’m almost done. Also, a lot of the end could have been avoided if they just TALKED TO EACH OTHER!
So far just his pov. Only 14% in though.

My Roommate’s Girl is dual POV, but it takes a while to get to that point. Initially, it is only his POV. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t like him much….and redemption was looking tough in my eyes….but then BAM! something I didn’t see coming.
Did you not like him much ’cause he’s a total jerk-face, Jean? I kind of like reading that…
I like jerk-faces too!! LOL!! Yes, he was pretty much a jerk in the beginning….but this book was just missing something. 3 Stars for me…..was hoping for more!
