HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK!!! I LOVE THIS WEEEEEEEEK!!! :D !!!! The whole week is going to be awesome, and special, and loaded in holiday preparation, from cooking, to seeing friends and family, to days off, to shopping, to reading our hearts out.

In fact, I already know my next read. I can’t get enough of Mariana Zapata, and someone just reminded me of one of her latest 5-star books (Dear Aaron), and I one-clicked that sucker so HARD!!!

D.G.: Maryse, Dear Aaron was a five star for me also! Heck, I love all her books. It is definitely a slow burn…

Melinda: Just finished Dear Aaron. I just absolutely loved it. Couldn’t put it down. We had a fire scare in the hotel at 6am this morning we all got dressed went downstairs took my book with me. False alarm went back to room and read even though I went to bed at 4am. Don’t you love a good one. I live for these.

I’m going in. *squeeeee meeeeee!!!!*

Kooloo found us this one saying: “I mean this has Big Drama and Heart Ripping all over it! Your Welcome” Eeeeep, Kooloooooo this sounds like a great find for sure! “…The words on the page jumbled into a toxic mess my brain refused to comprehend, much less accept. Please consider this letter as a formal request to arrange a paternity test (DNA). I barely remembered Chelsea Airy. That wasn’t true—we’d gone out once, and we’d been friends for a while after. But I hadn’t heard so much as a peep from her since I’d gotten married. I’d reached out a handful of times, but she’d quit responding and fell off the face of the earth. There hadn’t been a text, an email, a phone call, not even a Facebook message, much less a stork in the last five years. My wife could forgive a lot, but she’d never wanted children—much less another woman’s.

He was an up-and-coming rock star, and she was an up-and-coming train wreck…
  9. Money Can’t Buy Love #3: (A Sexy Billionaire Bad Boy Novel) by Ali Parker <— SINGLE MOM & HER NEW JOB & THE BOSS THAT’S GRIEVING HIS WIFE… “...Rainey Foster has finally graduated college, and as a struggling single mom, she just needs someone to give her a chance. Morning everyone! I can’t wait til thursday afternoon. That’s when all prep, eating and cleanup is done and I can focus on Christmas shopping!!!

I haven’t really been in much of a reading mood lately. *horrified gasp* I think all the holiday stuff has been occupying my brain and at stressing me out.

Tasha J November 20, 2017 at 11:48 AM

Me too, Leslie! I keep waiting, browsing, and checking my email for some early deals, I just want to get crackin on this Christmas shopping so I can relax. I’ve still only got 1 more thing done. And no one around me has been well prepared for Thanksgiving. I had to call the Moms yesterday asking when we were doing the things…I’m a planner, I need to know things long before days in advance!!

Tessa November 20, 2017 at 12:04 PM

Ugh, the problem with Christmas shopping is little dude doesn’t even know what he wants for Christmas. I keep asking and he just doesn’t know. On one hand, it’s frustrating, but on the other hand, it’s good to know he pretty much is happy enough with life that he can’t think of anything he feels like he needs.

Tasha J November 20, 2017 at 12:44 PM

Mine have enough as it is and they both recently had birthdays so I feel like we’ve covered everything already. I feel like little ones are easier to shop for though. My oldest has a list, but I won’t get a lot of the stuff she put on it. Things she’s had before and has already been gotten rid of years ago. She doesn’t really play with toys honestly, so I feel no need to fill the house with useless junk, but I dont want her upset because she didn’t get anything good. Besides the stuff she’s not getting, she’s a tomboy, so she wants a big $100 nerf gun. Those things are ridiculously over priced and she can’t even do anything with it until spring/summer. Or American Girl doll accessories. The prices on that stuff though!!

Kooloo November 20, 2017 at 12:52 PM

Well I found a new shopping experience cheaper than Amazon…

PS just ordered me a pair of kick a@@ boots for 21 bucks!!!

Cicely November 20, 2017 at 1:03 PM

YAAAS DEAR AARON WAS AWESOME TOO!

Grey November 20, 2017 at 2:11 PM

Hiya all. I started shopping last night. Thanks Kohls.com for letting me go live at 1 am EST and I was able to still use my 20% off code woot woot. Of course the aite was uber slow and I am super tired. However, I’m not working the rest of the week.

I have been in a bit of a slump too. I’m going back to my 5 star favorites challenge…to try and finish it before the end of the year, so right now I am reading Collide by Gail McHugh.

Melinda November 20, 2017 at 3:42 PM

Ooooh Maryse, you lucky duck, I looved that book. 10 stars for me. Mariana Zapata instant one click. I love her books.

Well I have about 52 xmas presents to buy, a big fam. I haven’t even started yet. Today must be the day. But then there’s the wrapping. Now you can all feel sorry for me. Haha. But I love it. I save all year for it.

Tasha J November 20, 2017 at 4:01 PM

My goodness Melinda! I would be hiring help on wrapping. Lol

Melinda November 20, 2017 at 4:10 PM
