I am reading my heart out right now and am DYING to get back to my book (The Darkest Sunrise <— It’s super-heartwrenching, super-nervewracking, super funny, super emotional… and just plain super. At least so far, but I’m already in the second half and am still so hooked. This was exactly what I was looking for.

Beautiful Mistake – MINE!!!
I just started my “fave of Maryse’s” which I picked Maybe in Another Life (as also rec’d by R.). I am listening to it as I clean my dads apartment. Only a few chapters in and it seems interesting….but it BETTER NOT be a death book!!!! I must admit, I am a little afraid.

And I’m going back and forth between Damaged Like Us and Riven. For writing motivation, Riven’s in the lead.
Hmmm….R., I love you and all, but I am not sure I trust your assessment of “sweet and inspirational”.

Okay, I’m reading a 2017 click next and I had a few set aside to pick from, but now…NOW I am dying to read The Darkest Sunrise.

Maybe in Another Life was GREAT. I loved how it went back and forth between the two “lives” so we could see how things played out with each character simultaneously.
And the ending(s)…perfection. 😀
You know, to date, I still have not read a TDS book? I don’t know why but the blurbs don’t seem to appeal to me.
I’m reading American Queen. Who has read this? I got it as a lend through booklending and so far, I’m kind of scared. lol
I don’t know what I want to read after Unrequited. Maybe something funny- like the Cocky Client or The Big Mistake. I do want to read TDS, but think I’ll wait for book 2.
Anyone read the new Tarryn Fisher book?

Cheryl, if you do audio you should totally give Aristotle and Dante a shot. Lin Manuel Miranda does such a great job and beautifully written.

Another thing I have that I haven’t listened to: The Hamilton Cast album. I adore musicals, so I’ve no idea why I haven’t listened to that yet.
Tessa, do it. I first listened to it on a wall doing errands from the first song straight to the last. It is not over hyped.
It tells such a great story. I know it is all history but I still went through all the emotions.
I was all pumped up, all yes Work, laughed, swooned, all..
Oh no he didn’t, and one little part broke my heart, yes even my eyes got damp.
I’ve listened to it a few times and keep finding something new.
The lyrics and delivery are great.
To see it, especially with this cast…gah.
Though it sounds like it was sold out all the time and insane $$$.

Tessa and Bev- it’s a great cast album and whenever we were in the car my daughter and I would sing along to it. We also watched a “bootleg” video of the entire performance. An amazing musical. My family tried daily to win tickets thru the show lottery. Sadly, we never did.
A bootleg, I love that. I guess they filmed professionally before the original cast left they just need to release it. Yeah, I’m buying that when it happens.

I got Sustained from the library! I was about to read it, but To Hate Adam Connor is on my Kindle from KU, and OMG, I forgot how much the first one pleased me. This has me smiling wide, laughing, just all sorts of great feels.
Julie, my big issue is my email. A lot of gaming accounts are linked to it, and that makes it a prime target. I know a lot of people who got hacked because they gave posted their gaming email publicly. In case anyone is wondering, it’s a multi-million dollar scam, so I’d rather not lose my accounts to one of them. 🙁 I don’t think anyone here will, but some evil person who scans for emails might. *frowns* Stupid evil people.
