Kim Box Person August 21, 2017 at 11:25 AM

Cheryl August 21, 2017 at 11:50 AM

Cheryl August 21, 2017 at 11:51 AM

2:44PM here and we have our eclipse glasses and eclipse doughnuts from Krispy Kreme!!!

bev August 21, 2017 at 11:53 AM

Apparently around 93% here a bit after 10. Honestly the sky is just so Smokey not sure you can see much of anything, lol.

Tessa August 21, 2017 at 12:05 PM

Stupid smoke! Lol only 75%here. My luck, those puffy clouds will prevent me from seeing anything.

R. Renee August 21, 2017 at 12:07 PM

Maryse. Frayed Silk by Ella Fields. It’s gutting me marmy style. It’s not TJR’s writing style, but it has the same feel her books have–the way your stomach rises in your throat and just sits there. Ugh the angst. It’s awesome. I’m at 55% but so far, I think it’s right up your alley.

Tessa August 21, 2017 at 12:08 PM

Oh, for my birthday book buy, I finally decided to buy two books ending a series. Thief and All the Stars in the Sky. Now I just need the right mood. :/

Lisa Aiello August 21, 2017 at 12:11 PM

OMG – Thief was the best of the series is you are referring to the Opportunist/Dirty Red/Thief series. My favorite by far!

Theresa S. August 21, 2017 at 12:26 PM

Marsye, Cora Brent – Strike went live. Gentry boys spinoff

D.G. August 21, 2017 at 12:41 PM

D.G. August 21, 2017 at 12:41 PM

We are suppose to be at 80% …we will see! The heat has been horrible the past few weeks.. 96..whew!

Tessa August 21, 2017 at 12:48 PM

Lisa, yep. That series. :D Right now, I’m reading a PNR, the Unlikable Demon Slayer: Need. It’s one I was waiting to become available so it’s making me happy.

Grey August 21, 2017 at 12:51 PM

Hey all… did a last minute purchase. Kohl’s was having a sale until 1 pm EST… I legit placed my online order at 1259… hey, I was saving 35%, it was a good deal, LOL!

I’m in a rut. I need a 5 star BADDDD! I may have to drag out the list. But a couple of those up there look promising. If Ever and Half of Me…

Tessa August 21, 2017 at 2:23 PM

D.G. August 21, 2017 at 2:44 PM

Bully Book!!

Grey August 21, 2017 at 5:05 PM

Dominic by LA Casey?
I was debating on Slammed…

Ashley August 21, 2017 at 5:08 PM

The Air He Breathes by Brittainy C Cherry is FREE right now on Amazon! Wrecking Ball is on sale for .99 cents!!! (Whaaaaa!!?!?!?!!!) I LOVED both of these books! Highly recommend them. Wrecking Ball has the same feel as The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. And The Air He Breathes is just amazing – all the feels!

bev August 21, 2017 at 5:21 PM

Cue up the Avette Brothers if you go for Slammed.

Amy August 21, 2017 at 5:46 PM

Well, we were supposed to feel about 90% of the effect here and…I was less than impressed. I was hoping for some darkness, and there was a clear sky but it was more like an overcast day. Unfortunately I was on my way to work and they wouldn’t allow stopping on the freeway for eclipse viewing. Can you believe that? *scoffs*

But oh WOW! What a few nice surprises up there! :D

R…any and all of my reading challenges are out the window this month, so I’ve been eyeing Frayed Silk as my next potential read after Wish You Were Here (which I still have yet to start…ahem). You used catnip words!

Tessa August 21, 2017 at 5:46 PM

Slammed was good. Just make sure you also read Dominic. :D

Amy August 21, 2017 at 5:48 PM

Oh Grey…Slammed. Colleen Hoover’s first and the reason why I fell in love with her writing. ;)

R. Renee August 21, 2017 at 5:50 PM

Amy I’m in the bubble bath ugly crying right this second if that helps. Please send Manny in a life jacket. And drinks. Lots of drinks.

Amy August 21, 2017 at 5:58 PM

Holy. Sh!t.

I may just have to skip straight to Silk and then just wish I was there.

*kisses Manny bye-bye and hands him to R*

R. Renee August 21, 2017 at 6:01 PM

I’ll give him back soon I promise!

Jan August 21, 2017 at 7:01 PM

Wrecking Ball was GOOD! Had that Wall of Winnipeg feel, but it was still its own book. Bit of a slow burn but really enjoyable. Get it while it’s a bargain! And I see that a second book in the series will be out in a few weeks – Sledgehammer. The author warns that the h has a potty mouth, though. :-/ That’s not usually my fav – either in h or H. Oh well, I’ll keep an open mind cos Wrecking Ball was so good. We’ll see! *rubs hands together in anticipation*

Leslie M August 21, 2017 at 7:20 PM

Slammed….*happy sigh*

Will Cooper…*swoon*

I butterflying love that book!! Seriously, it is a must read for all.

Cheryl August 21, 2017 at 9:12 PM

R., Frayed Silk sounds really good; although the ugly cry makes me nervous. Reminds me of another book I read, where the h’s husband changed and she didn’t know why and assumed it was another woman. Going to check my kindle…

Ok, I’m back. It’s Love In Rewind, which incidentally is free right now.

LOVED Slammed. *sigh*

bev August 21, 2017 at 9:12 PM

Manny is a manager!

Way to offend his pride,R.

R. Renee August 21, 2017 at 9:17 PM

Cheryl, I don’t know what to tell you. It makes me think of After I Do a tiny bit. It was a hard cry but it didn’t last long. I’m worried it’s not done with me yet though…

Jan August 21, 2017 at 9:28 PM

I just finished The Butterfly Project and had a little cry at the sweet ending.

Maryse August 22, 2017 at 5:47 AM

Oh R!!! I an looking that up RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! YES PLEASE!!!

Maryse August 22, 2017 at 5:50 AM

I’m adding that to today’s big Tuesday new release list, Theresa!! THANK YOU!!!

Jean August 22, 2017 at 8:11 AM

Started Drunk Dial this morning and loving it already! I love this author!

Maryse August 22, 2017 at 8:30 AM

I have it!! I’m debating on whether I want to jump into that one tonight, or go right into my angsty “Something in the Way” trilogy book #2… Gah!! Decisions decisions…

Maryse August 22, 2017 at 8:40 AM

My eclipse was not great. Sunny the whole time… *sigh* I wanted NIGHT during the day. Even if it was a short night. ;) LOL!

Maryse August 22, 2017 at 8:41 AM

*squeeee* Thank you Ashley! I just one-clicked!!!
